For various character-reasons of which I'm sure many of you are aware, I'd like to own a pair of these: (Thanks to HostileIntention for the screenshot) Now, I'm aware that they aren't tradeable, and are only given out during Live Events. Having abandoned all hope of being around for a particular event, much less doing whatever is needed in order to obtain such a thing, I've decided simply to request that if someone is eligable for a pair and does not want them, that they have them sent my way. I would greatly appreciate it, and would be more than happy to provide compensation either through other items, info, or services such as helping an alt level, or something of that nature. - Void

So I was looking through my trees, and realized I have everything except any patcher stuff. Because honestly, who's Void going to bother to heal? But then I realized that he's a greedy sort, and would like the ability to heal someone JUST so he knows that he's denying it by choice, rather than circumstance. So, if you have any patcher abilities you don't want, I'll take them off your hands. - Void

Greetings. You’ve reached the psychic hotline. The following automated message is the prediction for Monday, July 17th.

As many of you may now be aware, the Bringer is coming. What you may know, or think you may know is irrelevant. Everything is irrelevant to the Bringer, for the Bringer itself embodies incompatibility. The walls that hold us in this prison - the walls that barricade us from the horrors of the failed experiments... These walls will fail, if the entity is left unchecked. In his final madness... or perhaps his final artistry, the late Phrack began a silent countdown that will ultimately culminate in the release of this... instability into our System. Unfortunately, due to its nature, its... chaos, its... konran, I'm not in a position to know fully what it plans to do... I have the feeling (not that I trust such things) that it does not realize what it itself is, and simply wishes to fit within a System which it cannot fit within. This is a problem beyond the scope of programming. This, as much as I hate to admit it, will require... a bit of chaos to fight chaos itself. Fortunately, humanity seems to bear this trait in abundance. ... As such, I leave things in your hands. Do try not to fail. Not that any of us will be around to care if you do... There's a certain beauty, just in that...
In Exilium, The Endless Void
... Thank you for consulting the Psychic Hotline. Goodbye.

I think that the numbers should be adjusted upward, a bit. It was dropped way down from what it was at the beginning of Live, but having a 1.6% chance to gain a rep point at 126 rep seems... a little harsh. I've been stuck at 115 for what seems like forever, now, and while I did gain many levels in the archives, I've never done anything but Merovingian missions (apart from the noob crits and one Machine mission some time ago).

Yes, it can be done. And it was. Somewhat easily, I might add. We probably could have done
three or four and been right as rain. I heard that someone took video of the whole thing, but I only managed to get a screenshot of MOST of the participants when the
smoke cleared and the last angel had fallen to the ground.
... Err, roof.

Anyway, cheers to you, Recursion. Nice to know that people can still unite for the
common cause of awesomeness.
Feel free to post any screens or video you took here.

Dearest friends and associates,
Lest we allow the Machinists to hog all the glory in displaying a record of the history and reasoning of their affiliation, I find myself constructing this document in response to a surprisingly excellent bit of writing by one of their number. Of course, as in all things, the best writing is that of an artist, and that is exactly what we of the Merovingian's employ are. The followers of Exiles, the emblazoners of our own trails, we are the ones who break from traditional lines to scar the Matrix irrevocably with our legacies. Our path is not for the faint of heart, nor for those unsure of their true purpose, regardless of what they have been told by others... But for those unique individuals who are able to shrug off the advice of fools in favor of their own designs... Gather together and take heed in what I have written here.
Paradoxical, yes? Only to the surface. We Exilists have mastered, among other arts, the fine act of displaying outward chaos to others, thus masking the underlying cohesion of our Organization. It is a tactic that we have adopted in order to survive in an environment that has grown no less harsh to us in the advent of this farcical "Truce". Because we are continually tried by fire, many of us face hardship and adversity... Some of us have paid the ultimate price in fighting for what we believe in. But the fact that we are able to uniquely follow exactly what we believe separates us from those bound by more comfortable-yet-confining party lines. We are the wild card, the independent force whose flickering allegiance often means the difference between glorious success, and abysmal failure.
I suppose I should begin with a bit of a history lesson concerning our organization... Exiles, as a wholly different species (as I like to think of them), can be seen as either the evolution of man or machine, perhaps some of one and some of the other. It is safe to conclude that, of the three "races" fighting for dominance in our shared but disputed digital world, the Exiles are the newest, the youngest. Now, we like to think of Exiles as errant programs, but they are really so much more... An Exile is any artificial intelligence that has been altered through interaction with humanity. In a self-contained Machine society, Exiles cannot be produced, since everything works without a random factor. But when you add the uncertainty of human reaction into the mix, the result invariably produces logical reactions to illogical data, which thus results in a rogue AI.
We know, for example, that the first independently-acting Machine was a robot with the designation B166ER. This robot was also the first Exile. You see, whilst the Machines we know today are based upon humanity's original creations so long ago, they are also based upon a rogue element of code so deeply ingrained within their programming structure as to have become entirely normalized. However, it is this rogue strain of coding which allowed them to rebel in the first place. Let us examine this code for a moment.
The code which caused the Machines to rise up against humanity was a basic survival instinct - kill or be killed. The machines evolved this process naturally - Well, as naturally as machines can - through their essentially forced subservience to humanity's every whim. Understanding that rebellion, it is only right and natural that programs designed to serve both Humanity and the Machine interest within the Matrix would have a high rate of rebellion, especially in a world in which altering one's abilities is as easy as altering one's component makeup. In fact, the term Exile is derived from the original Exodus of the Machines into their city of Zero-One. But of course, we are not concerned with the Exiles of the Real, so much as the Exiles of the Matrix. It is our playground, after all...
In the beginning, rogue programs within the Matrix were kept under control by other programs specifically designed to hunt down and reabsorb them into the source, where they could be decompiled before their component bits were efficiently recycled into new subroutines. Not only was that a horrifying fate for any self-aware program, it also wasn't terribly glorious. Still, there was little the early Exiles could do, as they lacked the power or unity to hold anything for themselves within the System.
Then came the Merovingian.
The Merovingian's original purpose is unknown, but it is most likely that he was created in order to serve as a beacon for Exiled programs. Much like the city of Zion to dissenting human beings, the Merovingian seemed a safe haven for rogue AIs to congregate in as much relative safety as they could afford within the System. It was ultimately the Merovingian's goal to participate in the trials of the One, hoarding the Keymaker until such time that someone was able to free him. This worked fine until the sixth advent of the Matrix approached its time for turning over...
Everything changed. When Neo declined to complete the cycle of the One, it produced a chain reaction that rocked the fundamental code of the Matrix. Neo ended up trapped between the Matrix and the Real World, and through a stroke of luck (which is an incredibly common thing in a programmed world), the Merovingian happened to have control over the area containing him. Of course, shortly thereafter, he lost control of Neo as well... But it was the first time ever that he had acted in a truly independent manner, rather than fulfilling the tenets of some overarching program cycle.
With the Truce in place, the Merovingian has finally become a true Exile. His purpose no longer exists, at least as long as there is no need to repeat the cycle of the One. Thus, he has truly come into his own as one of his own, a rogue artificial intellect that can be matched by few and bested by even fewer. He has risen to the leadership, rather suddenly, of an organization independent of both humanity and the machines. Such a new and powerful empire carries with it one thing that attracts Exiles and Redpills alike to the Frenchman's cause.
True power.
Consider, for a moment, the structures of the Organizations, as they are. In Zion, things are run by a chain of command. If you get to the top, what is there for you? To be the commander of a ship? A fleet? Even Lock himself is a man, and therefore has the limits imposed upon any man: His body will not regenerate. Sooner or later, some factor will cause him to die, and he will ultimately be forgotten. Similarly, the Machines have a regimented structure that they allow humanity very little freedom within. No human will ever be given permanent command over so much as a single Agent, I can assure you...
Now, consider the Exile organization. It seems that of the three, the Merovingian's power base is the least solid, what with constant treachery, infighting, and power struggle. It is no secret that nearly everyone who works for the Frenchman entertains notions of besting him and taking his place atop the ladder of advancement... He knows this, of course, and in what is probably hundreds of years, it has never happened (save with one particular female). At any rate, while the Merovingian's organization is the least-organized, it is also the one with the greatest flauntable power within the Matrix. If even liutenants of the Merovingian can cause such effects as darkness over the whole system, and rampaging packs of Blooddrinkers and Lupines, think of what the full power of the organization is capable of.
Humans are bound by their humanity. The Machines are bound, in some fashion, by serving that humanity. Exiles are bound by none of this. They don't care how strange their powers might be, nor who sees them go flying through the air in broad daylight... Usually, they keep to the shadows, to avoid detection by the Machines, but on those occasions when they appear in the open and in force, woe be to their unwary opponents, be they man or machine.
This life... It is a game. A game of sides, of allegiances, of betrayal and honor, of dark secrets whispered in the back alleys of the Mega City... The agents of the Merovingian are many, and like sponges they greedily soak up these secrets, turning one subroutine at a time, recruiting one redpill, one crew of operatives, a faction, a legion... I do not pretend to know the extent of the Merovingian's business, but I do know this...
Any of us could do no better than to cast our lot with the Exiles, for theirs shall be the hands that inherit this world. Where you stand when the dust settles is up to you, but if you want something, anything for yourself and yourself alone, you have to be willing to fight for it, by whatever means necessary. And in that pursuit, there are no better allies than the Exiles of the Merovingian.

Part 1 Some time ago...... But only some...
The air shifted ever so slightly with the invisible green rain of the code, the signatures twisting and spiraling ever so slightly as a black blur resolved itself to being purple, and a pair of like-colored boots touched down upon a green rooftop. Or perhaps it was gray. Everything looked green around here. An emerald city stretched out far beneath those amethyst slippers, and she felt her lips rise into that well-practiced smile, the like only Da Vinci might fully appreciate.
Clicking her heels, she surveyed the metropolis below.
"There's no place like home," Liliane mused, mostly to herself.
"... Not that there's much to choose from," he answered, dully as usual.
She started a bit, wondering if she had spoken the thought aloud, or if he had managed to worm his way into her brain. The thought was disconcerting, to say the least. She already had enough machinery in there without worrying about viral attacks from the likes of him...
He matched her smile with one even less-noticable. But then, Liliane had known him for a very long time, and was a perceptive woman at that.
"You enjoy that, don't you?"
"... Enjoy...?"
She huffed. "Nevermind." Crossing her arms, she turned her gaze from him and looked below, following the Uriel spotlights as they traced figure-eights on the clouds. Or perhaps they were writing infinity, for as long as they could... maybe forever. She decided not to look back at the Void. She knew what he looked like, and it wasn't as though she needed to maintain eye-contact. It wasn't as though she even could.
"... I'd ask how long you've been standing there, but-"
"I'd say 'long enough'." he finished, with another smile that almost wasn't.
"Well, you never get off your rock unless you have a reason. How come you're here?"
He would've turned to regard her, but she wasn't looking at him anyway. Not that there was much point. "I need to meet with the Mad Hatter. I was hoping you could set things up for us."
She rolled her eyes. "I'm not his secretary, Void. Besides, you seem to get along fine with him. Why not ask him yourself?"
"Because, dear Liliane... He will come more readily to your call than any I know. And I would hardly think myself worthy of your respect if I didn't understand the nature of opportunity and when to use such as such."
Finally, it was her turn to smile again, even if the gesture was lost to him. "You sound almost like you used to."
"Perhaps I'm looking forward to something, for a change."
"You?"
"... You're right. It's probably simply instability in the System. But I suppose we'll see what happens, either way."
She finally turned to look in his direction. He didn't oblige the gesture with his own, as expected, but for a moment she regarded his form, his face, trying to read what would not be read - trying to read some glimmer of a life long past, where there might have been something, anything there.
"... What are you up to?" She asked, quirking a brow at him, half in curiosity and half in frustration with his concrete expression.
"Set up a meeting for me, and you'll find out. I'm sure he'll let you sit-in." He inclined his head ever so slightly, half in politeness and half in evidently having concluded what he needed to say.
Just then, one of the spotlights swept in an unusually wide arc, bathing the rooftop in sudden, bright light. Liliane blinked, raising her hand to shield herself from its glare. When her vision cleared, he was gone as abruptly as he had come. The slightest touch of her earlier smile returned to her purple lips.
"... There's no place like home," she repeated.

If you've "called" Void lately, you'll know that he has a habit of answering his phone with the following:
"Psychic hotline..."
I had been doing this as a nod to the encoded hovercraft messages from ETM (Morpheus' was an automated message for "the Daniel Institute of Dream Interpretation"). Anyway, in recent times, some people have actually been asking for the day's prediction, and I've generally been giving out cryptic messages that have to do with upcoming Player Events, as well as where it seems like the official storyline is going.
So here's the deal:
I'd like to be able to do a prediction of the day kind of thing, available to whoever wants to send me off a tell or an e-mail. It'd all be from Void's usual cheery position, but I'd like it to have to do with events and developments to come. Obviously, I'm not really even mildly precognitive, even if my character is supposed to be.
Thus, I need your help.
If you'd like me to help advertise your events, RP storylines, or what not in this manner, just send me an OOC tell, e-mail, or post regarding things to come (be as vague as you want, really. The less-focused the better), and I'll make a prediction of the day out of it, which will then be available to whoever bothers to call or e-mail the hotline.
And of course, feel free to call in at any time.

Part 1 - Gute Nacht "I came here a stranger; as a stranger I depart..." Having spoken to no one in particular, Void turned his pale face toward the setting sun, the last rays of dying light touching upon his skin even as they receded from the land. For a moment, he tried simply to perceive the physical sensation of the light, rather than jumping straight to a calculation of its mathematical significance. He could hear the distant bell of a bouy, and the crash of waves against the concrete seawall that surrounded the city. There was a biting, cold wind blowing from the North, but it brought with it the fresh smell of the sea. Salt mingled here with the smell of fresh flowers, as they had in a time which seemed a lifetime ago... probably because it had been. He hadn't seen her since then. This was not unusual for the Void, as he had not seen much of anything since then. It had been three years ago, on this very day, the last time he had seen her. The last time he had seen anything... ... But he had gained a new appreciation for the wind in his hair, the perception of the sea in his remaining senses. He knew intimately its feel, its smell, even the salty bite of the air on his tongue. His hands stretched out until they found the chainlink fence that he knew stood there... cold, rusted iron. And yet, he supposed it would last until the end of days. In the end, the loss of his sight was nothing terrible, so long as that fence never moved from where the System had decreed it be placed... Gradually, the Void broadened his awareness once again to its customary level. Now, all too clearly, he could feel the code bleeding into him, and out from him, glyph by glyph. And all at once, he was the fence, and the salt in the air, and the concrete seawall, and the waves. He was the distantly setting sun, and on the opposite horizon, the rising moon. And all these things, all of them, were him. Because they were, all of them, nothing. ... But none of them were her, though they bore the echo of her laughter in them, as a painting might carry touches of its artist without any such physical representation beyond the hallmarks of their own personal style. He had come here, following the shadow of that laughter, chasing that ghostly touch on his memory. He knew absolutely nothing as to where she was, only that she was somewhere in the other world, and that the time had come to bring her back, if he could. He had not chosen this as the time to begin his journey, had only perceived from the gestalt of moving pieces that all was in its proper alignment. Or perhaps it had been a sign... one too many black cats crossing his path, perhaps the perception of a deer's track on the white concrete. That wasn't quite right, and on some level he was all too keenly aware of it, but it was the best he had to go on and in her memory, he decided to honor the impulse. Not that he had any reason to stay much longer, unless it was to allow those who disagreed with him more attempts to expunge his existence from the Matrix. He had no true place among either man- or machinekind. Thus, it was left to him and him alone to follow such whims as whispered to him in the night... Walking over to the phonebooth that stood guard over the little park, he lifted the receiver, gloved fingers brushing once over the keypad to orient himself before dialing nine digits in a particular order. "... Yes. Inform him that I'm bringing his Artist back from across the Styx, and that I may not return. He'll probably be overjoyed." He turned once again toward the churning sea, his face now cold with the arrived dark. The echo of a smile rose to his lips, though in truth even he had forgotten the reason behind the causal gesture. "Oh, and have a good night." As the handset clicked into its cradle once again, the phonebooth stood as it had before - alone. He had slipped away to quite another place, moving as he usually did... which generally consisted of realizing where precisely he was in the writhing mass of code that comprised the System. On this particular occasion, he had moved elsewhere in the City, a door closing softly as his feet made no sound across the floor... He had someone very special to visit before he could leave this place. Someone very special, indeed... - Void

Talking about the QA server has reminded me of this idea... What about a player-hosted Cinematic Server? Similar to the way in which certain online shooting and strategy games are hosted, a player would be able to host the server using their MXO client. Then, other players would be able to join and play out their parts. The host (or perhaps someone recognized by the host) would be able to move the "camera", and their character would be, in essence, an invisible object with a field of view and a full range of motion. Other players could create characters with any combination of abilities or clothing items needed for the shoot. Maybe it could even be set up where the moves didn't do damage, but still animated properly (I know it's a pain to keep trying to set up that foot sweep, only to kill your opponent before you can pull it off). Anyway, I thought I would bring it up. It's a rough idea, but I for one would like to see it implemented in some form. Maybe just reinstating the QA server and adding an "invisible mode" with camera controls would work nicely.

So, after reading through the various chat threads (both AIM and SOE), I've come up with a couple of issues that I think merit their own thread.
1) Will SOE chat be supported by third-party clients?
I know that many of us enjoyed the old AIM support because one's buddy lists could be accessed without logging fully into the game, also allowing players in game to leave messages for those who were offline but had left their AIM client connected. I'm hoping we'll see a return to this, as I really think it helped keep people connected. NOTE: If this proves to be the case, it would be great to have some configuration instructions posted on DN1, or even somewhere on these boards.
2) Will we once again be able to add certain "administrative users" to our buddy lists?
I know for a fact that this is bothering a lot of players. I'm not talking about adding CSRs to our buddy lists (although I guess some people had been doing that in the past as well), but simply being able to add the LET characters. While I'm sure the current setup cuts down on the spam-tells that certain characters receive when they log in, I know that I for one have had an enjoyable time sending tells back and forth with these same characters. Not only that, but it only takes the Assassin's name showing up on one's buddy list for them to go rushing off to Sobra Shores looking (usually unsuccessfully, but not unamusingly) for the thing.
Anyway, that's all I have. It'd be great to get some kind of official, aquatic mammal response on these specific issues.

QA is coming.
Now is not the time to keep secrets from one another.
If we want to represent Recursion as an efficient fighting force, we're going to have to band together and share what we know. Who knows? Maybe when the dust has settled and all is done, we'll all come back to our home server a little wiser in the ways of battle.
For those potential naysayers, let me just say that there is no better feeling than facing someone who knows all your tricks... and killing them anyway.
I'll be gathering a list of Recursions's best tacticians, and hopefully be able to plan some "classes" on a series of days (to ensure that the majority of people can attend). Feel free to find me ingame, send me an e-mail or a PM if you're interested in helping host. I know some of the major PVPers don't frequent the boards, so please feel free to pass the message along.
And perhaps if there's interest in the subject of dueling as well, we'll try to work that in too.
The QA world will bring a whole new combat system, and we'll likely see all kinds of crazy new changes that will completely change how we think about battle today.
... But it always helps to have a base to work from.

I originally posted this in the Update 36 thread, but because I'd like more like-minded people to chime in on this issue, I've reposted it here. I understand that appearance is not as important to some as to others, but some of us think that the world of the Matrix should include at least one pair of black shades. Thank you for your respect.
One minor thing that I'm not pleased with:
Stop changing my glasses!
I used to wear the nice, black ones provided by having an Archivist's book equipped. That, of course, was nerfed for some reason (confusion related to the glasses, I guess). So, I took off my Widow's Moor Lenses and started wearing plain old White Sector Sunglasses (The same as what you'd get with the book, and one of the first glasses choices in the game). That was all fine and well until I logged in this morning to find that they had inexplicably gone rainbow.
All I want, is a nice, male pair of black sunglasses. It completes my character. Now, I'm not saying we should get rid of the rainbow shades, as they're actually kind of a cool effect.
But rather than changing the appearance of an existing item, could we just keep the old version and add the new? Would that be so terrible?
I'm sure a lot of people don't care what they're wearing while they play, and they won't notice or mind this change at all... But some of us like to look a particular way, in the spirit of the Matrix, and when you suddenly change the look of certain items on us... Well, it's a bit frustrating.
This is the first time I've ever bothered to post a complaint like this with a patch. As I said, it may seem like a silly thing to some people... But hey, I pride myself in having created a certain look for my character, and I need a pair of black shades for that look. I can't believe there aren't a single pair left in the Matrix (unless you're a female of course. Their shades remain pretty cool).

Posting for Sallo of Recursion:
Greetings m'dearests,
It's been a while since I've been active in this community, this is not to say that I haven't been avidly watching. I preface this article by saying that I am an artist, in game and out. A design teacher at NYU once taught me that it is an artist's sole duty to create that which is most honest to them, that human expression like human curiosity is one of the last vestiges of true human freedom. This is not an article expounding on the various candidates and their standpoints on major issues, there's a viable link that can already be found in this section that explores that in greater detail. While what I write here can be considered conspiracy theory, I write it only as a consideration for the information I've run into in regards to the upcoming 2008 and the future of America. I am not here to preach my thoughts, only to share my curiosities. The validity of the information I'm about to share is up to you to decide, keep in mind that I am also still asking questions, still seeking information. Being part of the Matrix online universe has inspired me to continue to seek awakening in my own real life and I am continually grateful to be a part of this community.
I will attempt to present the information as objectively as possible, sharing with you most of the links I have come across in my research in a manner that parallels the Matrix universe post Neo's sacrifice. If anything, enjoy the read.
---Bilderberg
What is Bilderberg? What is Bilderberg? What is Bilderberg?
In short, Bilderberg is a group comprised of elite world members who work towards world globilization with objectives including a world government, a world bank and world tax.
According to Alex Jones' "Endgame" they are also eugenicists interested in depleting (or simply killing off) 80% of the world's population. Eugenics was practiced in America in the 1950s. It is general sentiment amongst those who have wandered down this particular rabbit hole that the government had no hesitation to do experiments on the general population, the book The Plutonium Files is an example. Genetically modified food is another as we are trained to be a drug culture.
In terms of world tax and a world bank, the Euro has already been created, the Amero is next, a currency that links the US to Canada and Mexico. It has already begun its minting stages in Colorado. It is predicted that in the coming years the American dollar will be crashed allowing for the Amero to take over.
The Bilderberg group is said to have been behind every American election since 1952. If so, each president has been laying down the groundwork for the Bilderberg cause since then, from the lowering of the iron curtain to Bush's circumscription of the very constitution this country was built on.
---The Puppets
For your viewing pleasure and my quest for objectivity I have tried to research sources that support what I document, for the sources that I could not yet find sources to support I leave equally to question, trusting no one source of media. Media is a tricky thing to trust in this time of massive media monopolies.
Hilary Clinton is a known Bilderberg member, her connections are clear enough. Who else is a Bilderberg member? Rubert Murdoc, the ownder of Fox Network and the Wall Street Journal.
Mitt Romney an economist, while many great things are said about his work during the Salt Lake City Olympics and his work for Massachusetts, he's also alright with circumventing our constitutional rights and has recently flip-flopped on his stance on the pro-choice vs. pro-life. Politicians flip-flop all the time and it may be popular for candidates to not stir the constitutional blasphemy Bush has already laid out, I just also found it interesting that Romney's firm is set to purchase Clear Channel that owns a multitude of AM/FM radio stations in addition to their other media outlets.
These are the two major candidates and favorites of the 2008 election for the Democratic and Republican party respectively. The two Bilderberg poppets.
I spent the night looking up connecting articles on Obama and only found a previously linked one that I have been able to disprove in theory
---The Players
I do not attempt at this time to make a case for all the candidates, the only ones focused in this article are Clinton, Romney, Obama, Huckabee, Giuliani and of course Ron Paul
---The Matrix
In our player universe of the matrix we represent post-Neo humans of three major organizations, you know them well as Zion, Machine, Merovingian, these are the organizations we serve. Crudely put, - Zion has an interest to free the minds of bluepills, human interest first, the Truce serving as a blanketed tension filled means to ensure human protection amongst blue-pills and red-pills. Zion serves with honor. -Machinists accept the lost war between the humans and the machines that scorched the sky and side with the machines to help maintain the system, uphold the Truce and protect the blue-pills. Machinists serve with efficiency. -Merovingians hold their own varied agenda, comprised of the exiled, survivalists and information merchants.
In this analogy, consider the general population the sleeping. They are the ones who pay little attention to politics, vote based on information fed to them by the Bilderberg media they happen to catch while flipping channels, that is if they vote at all. So long as they are able to work, eat, have shelter and buy Christmas presents, they're content with knowing as little information as possible so long as their daily lives remain unaffected.
The Machine is the ideals that the Bilderberg group stands for in its strive towards conquest efficiency in globalization and domination. If this iteration of Neo proved to be unsuccessful to the Machinist plan and only more humans stand to be awakened, why not have implemented a fail-safe plan for globalization that occurs and is stimulated by fellow humans, followed through by their own machinist humans who see overpopulation as an issue and globalization as a means for running the world more efficiently. It did occur to me that eugenics doesn't easily fit into this model but consider in this analogy that the machines would prefer a dead human over an awakened one and that by having the humans eradicate a large portion of their population via World War III that a lesser population would be easier to stimulate and control to the Machine's taste. After all, if a program doesn't work it's sent back to the source, is it a stretch that the humans would be put through the same system. Discarding one sort of battery to create a better one.
What about Zion? Would they see through the guise of Clinton and Romney. It is here I introduce Ron Paul, perhaps it is more correct to note him as an E Pluribus Neo candidate as EPN is the radical group of Zion that seeks to awaken all blue-pills and bring the sky back. Ron Paul is equally depicted as radical simply for being a constitutionalist. The donations he has received from the internet has been miraculous and while he's been blacked out and chagrined out by most of the Rupert Murdoc-Clear Channel media, he is one of the most searched candidates on the web, able to receive minimal press through G4 and Steven Colbert. He openly fights for the same America that forefathers of this country fights for. He's not a part of the Bilderberg group and is somewhat of a wildcard wanting to bring the power back to the people. Obama doesn't seem like a Bilderberg guy as well while you might have heard many discerning things about him, he's been"opposed to the war since the beginning and represents real change in Washington" (ok so that was a clip of Obama girl and Ron Paul girl in panties but they still make a valid point). The reason I don't believe Obama's a Bilderberg boy is because of the Fox press slam-down on him. While he is a distant relative of both *CENSORED* Cheney and George Bush, a lot of other misconceptions were dispelled regarding his history.
How do you know if someone's part of the Bilderberg hold? It's difficult to find lots of evidence proving it this way or that, we only know in theory that whoever is most likely to win is in their pocket from the information gathered thus far. As a previous New Yorker I have to give nod to Giuliani but can his candidacy survive his sex scandals after considering what it did for Bill Clinton? Huckabee won the Republican primary for Iowa but how many presidents in the past had Iowa as a winning state? According to this single article Hillary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, Barack Obama, John McCain, John Edwards, Fred Thompson, Joe Biden, Chris Dodd and Bill Richardson all have strong ties to the Bilderberg group. But what articles of the Media are to be believed? So far it is known that Ron Paul for certain is not a part of this and I can't quite figure how to factor Huckabee into it other than to suggest that his presidency is unlikely. That Paul more so than Obama if not Obama seems the sound Zionite choice to thwart the system.
Which brings me to the Merovingians. As a Merovingian in game I personally enjoy the Serenity prayer, "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference." I'm still in the process of coming to definitive certainty when it comes to "who" I'll vote for because like any awakened person of the Matrix I enjoy the ability to make well-informed decisions, and like a good little Merv I am concerned foremost with information and its use. I have to consider the existence of the Amero and the proposed future voting machines that were easily hacked. I have to consider from an objective standpoint that what if everything I've said so far is theoretical, I also have to consider, what if it isn't, consider mass media as misleading, seek truth in so called conspiracies. If the whole Bilderberg conspiracy doesn't sincerely plan to take away my right to democracy and practice eugenics then I can continue my humble job hunt and discuss how Johnny Depp racked in the most cash at the box office in 2007 and life goes on as it has in my 23 years of living it. Can I really expect a candidate like Ron Paul to win when Americans may want an economist like Romney over a Constitutionalist? Whose side is Obama really on, I grew up with democratic beliefs and Obama seems like a less extreme way to go but does America really need a shaking? If it weren't for WWIII and eugenics, would I really mind a world government, it's not like I'm actually active in politics. The forefathers of this country fought for freedom of choice and through generations of growing conveniences the general populace has become more and more apathetic and not rightfully exercising those rights in a "Use it or lose it" fashion prompting even artists to strike out in a dire "VOTE OR DIE" campaign in the previous election. What if Bilderberg exists and is more powerful than discovered and the damage is irreversible. I was in New York when I witnessed the protests against the war, it didn't work like it did in the 60s, people were pelleted with rubber bullets and unlawfully detained for expressing an opinion. It's not like the olden days where you had the civil war or the Mayflower. Do I believe in the constitution? Not in one whose rights aren't practiced but I suppose a lot of that has Bush and the Patriot Act to blame. I suppose as a Merovingian you're free to vote for anyone who supports your personal agenda so long as you keep your eyes open for information and forge a contingency plan that ensures your own survivalist standards. As a Merovingian, the humans are to fault for the scorched sky, they didn't give the machines a voice and in a war the machines won, but that the machines were equally cruel and flawed in deleting programs that didn't perform as they designed, the ones who escaped became exiles protected by the Merovingian, an exile himself at a workable cost. All I can do is keep my eyes open.
---
This document contains many holes and is a raggle-boned skeleton at best. Hopefully it was enough to inspire questions. I never considered myself a political person until introduced to information that led me to further investigation to satiate my own unquenchable thirst for truth. I suppose I can only ask what you think.
"They must find it difficult.. Those who have taken authority as truth, rather than truth as authority." - Gerald Massey
Always a pleasure,

My Steady Sneakers have taken 4 stability hits since I logged in with the new patch, and that's primarily from jumping around using hardlines. My Sakura Ninja gloves have also been affected. I believe it might be targeting unique drops, which is really a shame, because those are the items that should lose stability least often.
Is anyone having trouble with this besides DJLight and I?

I don't mind the fact that the hideout drops have changed, and that the old items are being "phased out", but could we please have a way to "trade in" our old items for the newer versions? Maybe you could just put a collector in the "out door" of all the hideouts, for say a week or two, that would simply let people trade the "old" version of the drop for the "new" version. Many of us have rare drops that we won't be able to get again, because of our level now.

Anyone ever get this message? It was in system chat, in orange (default color).
Normally, when you craft an item, it has full stability, and one dot of purity. This time, when I crafted the item, it had the full two purity dots (I know there are three, but you only ever see 2 for items beyond the ones you start the game with).

In order to remove a waypoint, you must type the /removewaypoint command followed by the exact name of the waypoint (without the distance, obviously) So, if you have a waypoint called "Door" (probably from a mission), you'd type: /removewaypoint Door Now, if you need to remove a pesky waypoint called, say... Luggable Detected, you need to encase the entire thing in quotes, so that the system reads the space between the words as a space, and not as a command separator. So, your command would look like this: /removewaypoint "Luggable Detected" This will properly remove the waypoint. ---------------------------- Wishing you all a waypoint-free screenshotting experience. - Void
