To my knowledge, Halborn is not dead, just unable to access the Matrix.
The Oracle is dead, but as a program I'm sure that another version/backup of her is accessible.

Interesting...appears to be some construct with extremely limited access. I'm put in mind of the "Path of the One"..like some meeting of the minds that determines what actions to take. Interesting seeing who was there though.

When did Neo jack in without a jack?
End of Reloaded. Separates his mind from his body and wakes up inside the Trainman's construct. Then taking a train into the Matrix still without the use or need of a jack. While in his case it was accidental it still shows that it can be done. Thing about that, when they left the Oracle he suddenly had a jack.
That was to get him out. The point is (as I mentiond above) that it is possible to jack into a construct without a cranal jack. Neo didn't know how he did it but he did. Him useing a jack to get out doesn't change the fact that he did not have one to get in.
Yea, my understanding is that in order to get him out he either would have had to do it on his own (which apparently he didn't even know how he got in, much less get out) or use the hardline, but hardlines are apparently directly related to the cranial jacks, so I imagine they put him in a chair and stuck a jack into him.

My personal goal is to preserve as much life as possible, but specifically human life and specifically humans still plugged into the Matrix. I believe that humans will survive better within the Matrix, which is why I will kill a few Zionists in order to protect a majority of Unawakened Humans. Of course, if the death of one Unawakened were to benefit the lives of several others, I will act in a utilitarian manner.

If the fx were somehow important, I would say that everyone should be given the opportunity to receive longer lasting or perp ones, but as they are just for show they are just nice rewards for doing well at LE's. No need to make something that is useless but rare, useless and not rare...if you wanted that, there are several clothing items you can wear.
...But if enough of these fx were used would it really be that much trouble?...how old are our servers?

I replied saying I have been here for two years and have nothing to show for that achievment itself.
I would have rather seen some sort of coat or something that distingishes them as a Trial Player, like Beta players have their clothing. It wasn't your reply I was concerned about; it was the fact that clearly a player was concerned about getting his trial gift.

I'm a machinist telling you that machines and programs can lie. It's simple. I can create a program like a calculator, but when certain values are true, false values will be displayed. For example, 1 + 2 = 2. If value is 2 display 3. We can see this with true or false problems as well. If true, display false.

Hmm. I just checked this thread out while running missions. I didn't even know that tactics stacked like that. I decided to give it a try; honestly, switching tactics this was is a lot more interesting and fun than sitting on speed/power and changing once in a blue moon just to use a different special attack. As Rarebit pointed out (I think), it seems the biggest problem is that this has the label "EXPLOIT" over it and exploits = unfair. If it is announced that it is not an exploit and is part of the system, people should be fine with it because they have just as fair of a chance of using it as anyone else (and who better to say that it is/isn't an exploit than the devs? It is their system!). I say leave it in and announce it as not an exploit.

I don't know about a calendar, but I wouldn't mind seeing MCT time somewhere while /time still gives the time on your own PC. If MCT time were given though, I would suggest 24 hr time/weather cycles. Actually I think time should move in 24hr periods anyway, if we are to say that it's been about 3 years since the installation of the truce...if we went by in-game time it would have been several more than 3.

I think there are a lot of misconceptions about Bullet Time. I'm almost positive it is just a cinematic technique used to show things that are happening really fast at a very slow speed. When Neo bullet-dodges, Trinity says, "you moved like they do" or something like that. I'm pretty sure Redpills don't decide "allright I'm gonna go bullet-time!" They are just moving very quickly with precise motions, and Bullet-time allows viewers to see the precision of the movements that we wouldn't see otherwise, that is all.
So as far as the game goes, I think Bullet-time works great as it is with minor tweaks here n there. The option to activate bullet-time doesn't really make much sense. Especially with the idea of slowing down a certain area. Could you imagine people outside of the range of bullet-time watching everyone moving in slow-mo? It would only really work if when someone activated bullet-time the entire server moved at slow motion. With Bullet-time in interlock, this can be avoided.

If 20 hotbars isn't enough there is no pleasing you! I don't even understand! I use like 5 at the most, and 2 of them have a lot of blank spaces. I'm in shock! I think one of us is doing something wrong!
But as far as your question goes, I really don't know. I would guess that the amount is hardwired and only what is placed in them is local.

Yea I guess I don't use that many loadouts, but the few that I do share a couple of hotbars, at least ones in similar trees. I was really trying to figure this out.
2 bars for macros 2 bars for consumables 16 bars for abilities
that was the best I could come up with, but I would never have the need for that many abilities.
Granted, I only hit 50 in the past couple of months and am still getting aquanted with pvp strats.
Yea I imagine if they wanted they could change a number and put it in a patch. I wonder if there is any reason not to.

I wouldn't mind seeing this either. It would make sense story-wise and balance the mech-zion orgs out a bit. Especially since the Machines are more worried about Hal and Carl, it seems Zion might take advantage of this to disrupt more mech operations; unless they are too busy in the real with their new zion and whatnot. I think this would maybe promote the Merv org just a little bit as well (that seems to mostly be on the side nowadays; maybe I'm wrong).
