first of all I would like to point out, NECRO!!!!! SMILEY

ok now onto something proper, if your going MA then you need to get all 3 tree's, a tree at Grandmaster fills about 60-70 mem points depending on what Awakened abs you got loaded, so you need KF and Karate to give you extra passive buffs and so forth, secondly you put yer stats so they max out beleif and Focus with the rest in vitality.

and you can't gimp yer character, there is a way you can reset yer stats to their original, but it's *CENSORED* annoying unless you have ranged attacks.

you can do a healer/Aikido Master, you'd need to load like an area heal, although the style switches whenever you heal so you gotta be hitting that Aikido button as soon as the heal is over.

The only reason the tree's were ingame was because of an imbalence in the old combat system, they then removed it because the Hacker imbalance was better than the MA imbalance.

it's because they think were all a bunch of people who have no idea how long it would take to implement even though some of us have been online for well over a month, I myself have logged 45 days atm, I also have experience working on projects like this, but still our idea's get thrown to the trash, I don't see why they have a dev roundtable, and before this gets really offtopic it would be a great idea to get some select few players to play as LEGSIG for example, people who have been on since beta or to be a bit fairer, people who have been jacked in for over say 50 days because then at least you know they have the time to play around.

  The tactic for grab in duelist usually offsets the characters so you arn't hitting/shooting directly at your opponent, it's probably been noticed and someone is gonna say its' already been posted and "use the search function" but I don't care SMILEY

Initiative does effect the accuracy

Initiative + Accuracy =  Rolls for specials

but Initiative is only given out for Desperation otherwise the base number is 0 and 0 x 0.5 (50% bonus) is still 0.

  one good thing about it disappearing is that assasins can no longer hit us with specials in interlock when our shields were up, that was totally insane since I remember assasins could easily pwn somebody like that, 4 people, 3 MA's and an Assasin could do more than 4 MAs

when you think about adding new tree's to a game though you have to realize what it would do to the balance of the game, if a new tree was added then there would be new passive abilities which would in turn increase the power of MA, now I know that MA is considerably underpowered in the ranged area and underpowered in the IL area to a certain extent but adding a new tree would require almost as much time as CR2

Yeh, some people have trouble blocking, some hitting, some with damage so you have to play to a tree which sorts those problems out, if you can't hit I'd use the kung fu style, it gives the best accuracy, low defence and normal damage. if you don't do enough damage then I'd use the karate tree, it's good on damage, normal on defence but not good on accuracy but there is always martial arts prowess to boost your damage for a short while, and then theres if you can't block then use aikido but aikido isn't brilliant on damage and normal on accuracy but brilliant on defence.

sorry thats the wrong way around, a duelists melee defence is higher than akido's and the 2 main attributes for duelist have melee defence as well. what I have found is SMG specialist upgrade using handguns for the main attacks can beat almost anybody or at least take quite alot of hp, and it's my load so go get yer own.:smileywink:

I don't think so, I'd have to check ingame but since there isn't actually any ability which boosts yer IS regen rate in the first place I'm sure it would just be a passive IS regen buff.

theres an Aikido ability, but that may be defense.

also I'm not sure but if you have the stat for Ballistic res. bonus, I think if you have an ability that downgrades Ballistic Res. then it'll increase that too, but that may just be something that I thought up in the randomness of life!

is this really a good attributes load out? cuz i usually just max out perception and focus and spend the rest on belief...

I think most people spend the rest on vitality.. I don't know if that's good but that's what looks good
not really, those attributes are bonus's so you have to have something active for it to be affected, so Vitality isn't a good choice

I think CCR's need multiple people to report before they take action, somebody could ccr me about 10 times but I wouldn't get punished because it's off one person, if 5 or 6 people ccr then it's a different story

  Pistol Slide requires Off Balance, which means that it's supposed to do more damage, a Full Auto Redux is more powerful than the sniper shot because it's supposed to be.

  it was SMG but I got alot of complaints from ppl on vector after they died saying FAR is overpowered, since then I've only loaded SMG upto the lvl 33 ability and have been using duelist alot more, they don't have anything to moan about when they die now SMILEY

LuTS + sniper + lvl 44 sat = 6k - 8k damage

LuTS + sniper + lvl 44 = 2.5k - 3k damage

and best thing bout it, you can HJ away straight after too

Ok well I think some kind of swordfightin should be introduced to the game cause that would just be totally cool bt I think we shouldn't have expansion packs because otherwise it just makes different versions of the game and some people might not be able to buy it and they pretty much get stuck in the current version of the game. And they should implement all the things into the game with either a download or patch because theres 2 game stores about 5 miles away from where I live and if they sold out then I would be stuck in the current version of the game until the stores get some more in or I buy it off the internet.

 

but anyway I think they should have

 

!)SWORDFIGHTING!!!!!!!!!!

2) New martial arts

3) going around the real world in hovercraft

4) the war back on again with the machines

5) all the normal things that u want in an expansion pack e.g. More clothes

  If you come out of the hardline from Sai Kung C, turn right, over the bridge, go around the building to the opposite side and then enter, if you look on the map there is a large room once you enter the building and you go to it.

There are many other dojo's there are 4 different ones as far as I know, Sai Kung C one, Sai Kung S one, Furihata C one and the Zion archive one.

not much you can do I'm afraid, I guess you should copy and paste it into babelfish or summat like that, but it's pretty much common sense stuff in there anyway.

In any case you probably live in Germany so anything to do with law will be pretty difficult for you to accomplish because of the clashing justice systems.

Sometimes they work just great, sometimes they really don't work at all.

Problems that come to mind currently:

-) Aikido
1. Grab animations - almost never actually facing the target. This could be due to the close proximity of each RSI to the 'center' point of the interlock.
2. Ending animations - similar to above.
3. "Both on defense" animation - the one where both RSIs fake a lunge forward, then one punches but misses, then the other punches or shoots three times and misses.  This one has a serious facing issue because unless each RSI was facing the other to begin with, they don't realign.  You end up 'dodging' bullets or punches being thrown in the opposite direction.


-) SMGs
1. Too close animations - finishers for power and speed often end up with the victor's guns running straight through and past the target.
2. Too far animations - it sometimes happens that the interlock distance is too long.  That's fine for gunners, since they have better range, but if both players hit and one is a martial artist, it looks silly when the martial artist punches at the air and the gunner five feet away goes "Ow."

-) Duelist
1. Too close animations - certain pistol maneuvers do not work because they come too close to their targets, but I forget which ones.
2. Dual Pistol Execution - don't even get me started on this one - why the hell do people get back up from being shot in the face?  "Oh, you just shot through my eyeball and into my brain.  Guess I'd better do a backflip and get back up to fight again!"

-) Hacker
1. Delayed "pain" animation - when a hacker hits someone in interlock, it shows the viral attack itself (the red lightning) before the hacker even finishes his typing, and the target just kind of stands there until the END of the round, a couple of seconds after being hit - then goes "Ow."
2. Logic Bomb.

Thing is that the way the system works, everything is a bit... different, LOL I hardly understand it myself but I had the same problem with duelist grab animations and somebody explained very well. it's the same when an NPC tries to break yer shield and go's through a wall. which is the same for aikido SMG's and duelist

DPE it's a move, do you think it's possible that if somebody jumped up and using their foot, fell on yer head, no since it would break your neck. The guns that duelists use don't use kill code bullets so it hurts but not enough to kill in one shot or summat like that.

and hacker interlock reactions I ain't really fussed about since it's just a harmless and not very annoying bug. personally I'd rather see the spam CC and go thru a wall bugs removed
