Is it just me or do you feel a little underwhelmed when you get to the end of a critical mission, you get your face time with a main personality,
you get your 'Atta Boy!' speech and then,
as a token of their esteem,
to show that you are truly a mover and a shaker,
an irreplaceable operative for the cause,
someone who gets things done,
a veritable hero of the faction,

They give you a Magenta 5% AntiViral Catsuit.
Or an enhanced rifle that you got for the first time like 5 levels ago.
Or some opposite-gender shoes with 4% Damage Reduction.

But seriously, I know that the gifts they give can be a nice cash or XP bump when sold/decomped. I am just saying that choosing normal run-of-the-mill items is a little blah to me. The only lasting thing I take away from the criticals is a few screenshots. And since the characters keep wandering around, it is a pain. But that is a complaint for another day...

Some unique clothing thing owuld actually be a good idea. Or whenever they add new things, like those Emerald Pravea Sunglasses, you can only get them through the critical missions and you can't decomp them.

You were definitely one of the lucky ones. I always seem to get something that I had long since decompiled or something that I would have used if I was 5 levels lower. I mean, at Level 39 and at Hard, I should get something better for my troubles than a shielded catsuit. For regular missions, OK. For storyline criticals, no. I also think that the local contact missions should give you something unique when you complete their arc.

I am really liking the Tshirt idea more and more. They can be unbuffed but each one is a different color scheme and represents the Series of Criticals you are in.

Hmmmm Maybe if they used Tshirts instead of 'Completion Tokens' at the end of the series I would be happy. Better than some diskette thing that only the owner can see. Why not make it a Tshirt that you can show off?

I have noted that the /pause is sometimes not needed. this is a
very personal thing in that your particular machine's speed enters into
it. I found that my shiny new laptop needs a little pause when
changing clothes compared to my venerable desktop.

I agree. It sounds like you may be one or two bits short for the entire recipe. I am totally spoiled as I have over a hundred of every bit. When they changed coding, I went through the market and bought all the 'codes' for items that had 10-15 charges to them. I then code up a bunch of old purple pants etc and decomp them, harvesting a lot of bits. take a look at the Market, there are always recipies out there that have multiple charges poppng up.

Yah, it is all persoanl preference.

I am with Olympius on this one. I am enjoying the ride to 50. I have been here since the beginning of Live . I am 34.5 right now with an 8th level alternate.

I hung with a lot of people that sprinted to level 50 and then, they looked around at max level and realized that they missed a lot of content and had limited things to do and quit the game. I didn't want to burn out that way...

First thing I would do is make sure that the drivers for the vid card are up to date. After that, refresh your DirectX installation. I was having weird texture issues until I found that I had restored back to a pre-update condition where I was running 2 yr old drivers. <shudder>

It IS a great thing to decomp anything you find, eh? I, at level 49, have a +89 Decomp and that is only because I am lazy and haven't compiled a full set of clothes to Decomp with.
