HJ is not an issue here. HJ works fine as it is. Actually, I'd love you to HJ away instead of pulling that kind of crap with perma-jumping. Of course nobody wants to die in PvP, but I don't use a bug or, in the case you abuse a bug, an exploit to survive in the PvP.
Actually, I've done it too, yeah that makes me a hypocrite alright, there you have it. But at least I try NOT to do it consciously (doesn't mean it can't happen incidentally), even if people annoy me. I never liked cheats, exploits 'n that stuff anyways.

I don't take Mara Central serious, I told you already Mliss, I take exploiters serious. And this is a general issue. There are 2 things I complain about:
Plain runners, who can't do anything but run run run. And secondly, people who consciously use unbalances in the combat system.
Btw, I'm always hunting down runners and HJers and in many cases, they die, too. But you still try to cover up that bug with tactics. This isn't about running away, anyways, since you can't run away while doing perma-jumps.

His cause was lost after the establishment of the "Truce". Neo fought in a much more hostile world at the edge of humanities extinction. There were no Cypherites, only Cpyher himself. Cryptos was a Morpheist if you could say so. The Kid was just a kid, a fanatic follower even at that times. He could not fight for 5 different sides, he could only fight for 2 alone.
What Neo did, he did it for the whole of humanity, even for all Mashines, for his loved ones. On a certain degree he did it because of the "Anomalies" programming, which is to embrace humanity.
Now if Neo came back, of course that would only be speculation, he would find himself in a world based on his doings, based on a peace he created. He would have no idea how to live in such a wrold. It is our world, a new generation and therefore we must learn to live on ourselves, not on heros of the old days, especially not on dead ones. But what would be do? Agree with EPN, disagree with Cyph? Neo always had a certain disliking of Kids fanatic view of him, so he would almost certainly criticize his and therefore EPNs doings. He wouldn't agree with Cryptos or any of his followers, though I bet he would clap his hands before Trevicos speech.
On my part Neo is a "freedom fighter", who would be in other terms a "terrorist".
To you Gami, you're a freedom fighter too, but you claim to follow a dead mans memories. You follow a path that leads into the grave, of everyone. We must not forget what Neo did, but through such actions, both EPN and CYPH jeopadize what Neo did. He gave us a stalemate, a chance of peace. Of course the "truce" is a lie, but it's the only lie in the whole Matrix which is nessecary. Claiming to follow somebodies views, who is already dead and can't confirm or deny your viewings, is another lie. It's not quite the same with Cypher and Cryptos, but a half-lie is just another lie.

I am sorry that I missed to make my statement about TMA clear.   Personally, I've heard of another instance of a damage anomaly. A 618 dam Crippling throw. 10 secs later it was back at 128 dam. No debuffs applied and Find Weakness can't let you do a 600+ Crippling Throw at a lvl 50 with res o_O

Well and for you Trevico, Jevex is right. Your title is a drawback. You are considered a "rogue" Cypherite wing if I may say so. Before you can deal with ANY other matters, like EPN, you have to clear the bay in your own movement.
If you want another press conference, expect many flagged EPNs there, for you. Move your next press conference to a more appropriate time. When that time is, hah.... not in near future it seems.

It's the matter that all your super rooting, movement debuffing, stunning, pacifiying abilities have not  been designed to do what they can do in this case. Root is not meant to stop people from bugging your IL timer. That doesn't mean it can't work that way.

Nö Acid. Ich meins genauso wie's dasteht. Root ist nicht dafür gemacht, kann aber dafür benützt werden. Und gerade deshalb sind z.B. roots keine Ausrede dafür, das dass so sein sollte (das mitm springen).

If I have roots, then I use them, of course. I use Hindering Shot as well. Still doesn't change anything from the fact that they do more than they are meant to. So all your saying with roots 'n stuff are not really an excuse.

And to some degree, I have to agree with Pylat on this one ^^

Each colour has one lamp, one red, a green and a blue. It's not 1 lamp producing 3 colours. It's 3 lamps mixing the colours. If all lamps are on, it puts out the colour white. Thus, a full white screen costs more electricity than a black screen. Does it make sense now?
That does but you were talking about single colors. So in your demo that would be the green lamp vs. the blue lamp and in that scenario they cost the same amount on energy cuz their bot 250 watt lamps SMILEY

I repeat from another thread: I will NOT /ccr someone for switching tactics on me.  It's what CR2 is about. 


The main problem isn't when switching through normal tactics (influencing those is not  as possible or happening as badly anyways), it's a problem when there are abilities involved that get heavily influenced by the tactic switch.

What are you talking about? MikeCool never stacked, he was just superior to every other player with every tree and won every time from personal skill alone. And his 3.6k hp Aikido GM loadouts, they were just really good hybrids, I just haven't figured out what they were yet... SMILEY

Aikido GM + Kung Fu GM + Karate GM (all 3 title buffs btw) + Doctor up to Upgrade Health.  Duh.

Considering the stacking exploits, this is the least of our worries. 


The deal is: It's officially an exploit. Although it's true that everyone does it and everyone accepts it, the devs can't just change their minds and declare an officially declared exploit part of the game and legal, for that part. Nor do I think that they want to.

I think since it doesn't give an advantage I think you can say that it's not an exploit to switch to block I use punt and block to do 1pts damage punts, personally it's not very advantageous. unless you get an advantage by taking your opponents health down one at a time.

Its still a bugger of a bug in PvE. I for one hate it when npcs hit me with 1dmg, its just silly, ugly and reminds me of the situation the game exists in.

NPCs can't control tactic switching. We can =/

Why are they ruined? They'd just to the damage they are supposed to do when they get accepted (Speed +0%, Power +20%, Grab -15%) nothing more nothing less. If you can't live with the damage Grab does, use another tactic. Without tactic switching you have to THINK which tactic to use and not just sit on one particular one and the enhance the strength with Power.

  Biggest known gainers with tactic switching in IL: Grab users.
They gain a total of 35% damage when using Grab (-15% Dam) and then switch to Power (+20% Dam).

I've tried Grab duels without tactic switching. It totally sucks. The damage you do in total is neglegible. You waste much more IS to kill someone than with using tactic switching, of course. Grab tactic isn't all that great as people belief, but tactic switching makes it so.

OoIL tactic switching works a bit different. The tactic LAST used will be used for Acc and Dam. That means you can activate the ability with any tactic (except Block), then to get sure you'll be least interrupted you switch to Block and bide your time. When it's nearly gone through you switch to Speed / Power / Grab for the Acc and Dam.

Ah well but let's talk about spies, will we?
(What follows next is my interpretation, mind you.)

Definition:
Spies are a scout / support class, with quick and enemy delaying moves. Also support movesfor IL and OoIL for teammates on individual targets (nobody uses them though, because many of them are sneak knive attacks and we all know, spies mainly use Staggering Throw for the quite high amount of damage. Nobody uses e.g. the Shadow sneak knive moves for support). Ability to deal large damage in short time, while not being able to hold in to much damage (like every scout or assassin class should be, but we don't have individual HP, IS, resistance etc. starts and limits for tree branches).

Well, most of the definition holds true, however, the effort in which it can walk inside the definition is too low.

1 vs 1: I don't see too much wrong there (except still for some balancing issues, but every tree has those).

Many vs Many: The spies true strength, for their strength grows more than just linear in multiple foe combat alongside fellow spies. This is where I see the main problem. Fighting a group of spies is the most difficult situation (IMO) one encounters in PvP, for they can cover their weaknesses excellently and support each other flawlessly. With the lack of throw def boni I fear, this won't change much.

Granted, it's possible to take down a group of spies, but I'd rather be outnumbered and take down a group of MAs, Guns or Hacks (independently from my LO), because that's easier to deal with in any case.
