Two ways...one is to right click their name in area chat and click on Online, the other is to type /friend and then their name after it..Eg. /friend Dulux

Although i don't think story characters actually appear online in your buddy list, not that i've experienced anyways.

Trying to get rid of a luggable waypoint that wouldn't shift, i accidently removed my blips, all me flags and stuff...question is, is there anyway to put them back, or am i gonna have to track down each and every place i had them and reflag...cause that'd be a bit of a nightmare.

So was just doing some nodes with my faction and an agent spawned on one of them so i interlocked him then after that everything went weird.

My buffs dissapeared underneath my hotbar, i couldn't use things like evade combat, but could still use area hacks (although couldn't see the little bar that appear when you use them), can't use /who or see when anyone comes or goes offline as well as joining the team i'm on. Can't see anybody speaking in any of the chat channels, although they can read what i say i discovered trhough the crafty use of emotes.

So i decide i should relogg to fix the bug, but exiting via a hardline doesn't work, and currently i have been trying to jackout using the jackout button for about 10 minutes with no joy.

Any help?

I guess i could hit the red x in the corner, but then i'm worried i will be stuck in game till who knows when.

Okay after about half an hour of not jacking out, and running around, unable to jump, find any other players or NPC's i thought it best to bite the bullet and close the window...guess i'll see if i'm able to get back in or not.

(update) Well it seems to have worked, was all a bit srange though. Got back in straight away, was like i had left the game but my computer hadn't realized or something...weird.

I think it'd be cool if there was a big clock in the actual game, like a building with a clock face on it...then people could head over to it to find out the time if need be, may even promote somewhere else to hang out.

Plus if it had the date on it an all, it'd be a cool reminder that it's 1999 and be funny to see after new year it still being 1999

Though probably just me being daft.

I've had this exact same problem as well before, thing to do is Alt+Tab and that should bring whatever you got going on in the background/desktop to the front (i think, been a while since it's happened), anywho, think thats the thing to try next time, then just click back on your Matrix window and all should be well (I hope

I likes the sound of Grenades or something like that. Some kinda bomb that makes an explosion would be cool to see in game. Not a huge one, but one that could be used for RP things as well as pvp etc.

Be cool if you could even plant one secretly and have a timer or trigger to make it blow up (even stick it to things, like buildings etc. Make it look like they are blowing up

Course once you get down flat, you sort of spring up so you are standing (maybe thats why we never got the emote possibly?) but it's kinda there...just thought id show this as i never seen it before

I think the meeting went well, lots of questions being answered which was different And nice touch Agent Gray shaking everyone's hand at the end (He's a nice guy really).

Only thing i think that would have made it a bit cooler were if it had been in some sort of machine meeting room or something instead of the construct, and if maybe Pace or some other agents were there, standing at the side observing, for the immersion factor (but i can understand that'd be hard to do probably, and having it in the construct was the best way to keep other orgs out, so hey-ho )

Well he used to, the rest of that live show is a bit hit and miss, unlike his other earlier ones which are some of the best stand up i ever seen.
