I was just wondering, wouldn't it be cool if when landing after you hyperjump, you crack the pavement or whatever you land on! Obviously the system would have to repair it after a few seconds else the whole city would get quite messy. It could disappear in a quick buzz of green matrix code and ping! good as new! Also for higher levels the radius of damage could get slightly larger! Ok its more animation and would eat up a bit more resources but I think it'd look cool, if a bit pointless!

Seeing as you seem to be a bit of an authority on the new launcher, do you know when it will be out proper? I would use it but the memory it takes up at the moment in Beta, plus the new character folder etc... is something that I really don't want to be doing at the moment...

I think removing them would be easier. I take it when two players are IL'd then their stats and rolls etc are sent to the server and info is returned to the client? Aren't the combat rings that show hits and misses tied into all of that? If so wouldn't that tie up more server time if someone else were to be able to see the changes? I'm not too savvy on the actual workings tho' thats just an idea I have on how it works.

Hmm i wonder would it be possible to create a custom GUI for this as even though it looks nice i still prefer the "feel" of MxO's launcher and it would be nice to be able to create a GUI similar to it.
Hmmm... much like SWG's custom version of the current SoE launcher. Could the possibility for custom GUI's also be a way for players to download different GUI's for different Organisations? Stretching a little further, player made GUI's?

Whilst I can't say I dislike the current animation for signal booster, (I actually think the phasing in and out of transparency/translucency looks quite good) I have to agree with PS10N here. The only comment I can make is that if in a PVP situation one side is flagged and ready and the other side are blue and being buffed in front of the opposing side, waiting for all members to be buffed before flagging up, it's a bit cheeky!

I would think that Org abilities would not be able to be used by those not of the right Org. As these pills are tradeable they would be able to be used by anyone regardless of Org. At least that's what I see.
Also, nice adjustment with the Satellite upload animation, very smooth!

That's a good point. I actually want to replace my Squad Leaders shirt above any other item of clothing, but there are no commando shirts. The jackets actually look more like shirts and I'd like wear one along with the Area K.

If we really have to have portable dishes, can they at least burn out after a few minutes and then become useless? I only see the point of them on Vector when you wanna code something away from a well known hard-standing dish, on the non-hostile servers they just get collected and dumped around the HL's. Tabor E on Syntax was full of them the other night... Also, hard-standing dishes should provide a greater bonus in any case....

I seem to be the only person without the perma of it that likes the red eye fx reward. Subtlety, thats what I like. I always enjoy a duel when someone MGF me and takes off the RSI capture or Red Eye instead of my GM. I like the Blue headlamp too, more noticable but I guess I prefer the more physical FX's, WarSword is a bit much though and I still haven been bothered to go get the Scarf.

I'm still not a big fan of the FX on the quicksilvers tbh. Personally I think they'd be more interesting if the FX had a % chance of happening for a couple of rounds when in IL and also have the ZOMG FEETS IS GLOW! removed from it.
Interesting that Rarebit thought they were going to be a luggable item originally. Oh well, can't change it now! Grats on getting all the stuff Vill, now what are you going to do?

You know, I didn't even realise that the female versions weren't called Hel Stompers. I realise they look completely different but so do most male/female collector items but they have the same name. Plus 'Caretaker' doesn't make the same impact as 'Hel Stomper'...

I remember when Presice Blow and another ab with bluish white fx (cant think if the name) had a more suble glow trail in combat, then for some reason the changed the fx to all angular and pew pew lazer trails in combat.
Energized attacks.
I wasn't around then, but I take it that the FX wasn't present during the whole IL fight, only for the abs and the duration of the ab's influence?

I hate the way that NPC's can bust through my alt support hacker's shield in two attempts even though the Shield is up and guassian blur is on. Last night I had just refreshed my Shield, turned on my blur and used the blocking tactics (just to dash through them) and an NPC one level above mine broke it and pulled me into interlock almost instantly. I can live with it as long as it doesn't happen all the time but I have noticed it more frequently in the past week or so...

Great news for Data miner in the hot fix, but I think the best part of 53 is the storyline hands down. The new LE postings have had a surge of arguments from Machine, Cyph, Zion and EPN. I, myself have posted a few more than I would usually do. This is great, it keeps me engaged with the storyline as it must do for a lot of people. Although a long drawn out war is not one I would like to see, as long as the storyline keeps up this standard, I can see some good events ahead...

Sounded like good ideas to me... Pink Ops with bunny ear helmets... Hmmm... Rarebit... Pink sparkly top and Fluffy bunny ears please!
The idea that Agents will come to slap the Agent shades off anyone who isn't a Machinist (I think that was the gist they were working toward, unless they were talking about no players can wear shades...) was fantastic and should get implemented I say....
