Obviously Anome is planning something huge. Pendhurst Amaranth obviously are the key to key to his plan. Anome needs to confront his mother some how and be shown that this is real. He seems to think that the Matrix and the Real are fake. He doesn't believe any of it is real, hence his indiference to killing.

I don't think that the Assassin would be terribly pleased that Anome is using his kill codes. Although given certain personalities and their propensity for "inside" jokes, I wouldn't put these suspicious flies I've come across in the last few weeks as a bad "bug" pun. But something a little goofy happens on the map -- when I let go, my position on the map immediately moves backwards a bit, but I still end up landing on the map exactly where I let go. I've always thought that little backwards movement on the map was odd.

The backwards adjustment is because when you let go you are already over the spot to land on... meaning that you would just drop straight down. What happens is that you get adjusted to the point on the parabolic jump path you would be at to land at that point, so back and down a bit so that you can land with more grace than a rock.

Oh ... there's alread a bunch of story behind this event that has yet to be revealed by the participants, like who helped the effectuator collect the twin parts, how the effectuator reassembled them (I guess that SUV really exploded big huh), and why there is currently only one whole twin.

Just in case anyone didn't notice the really obvious. Ronald Reagan was an actor (tick), president (someone important - tick) and has alzheimer's (doesn't remember anything - tick).

I loled at that the first time I saw the movie.

Interestingly enough I saw an experiment to see if the human body really can speed up it's rate of perception under adrenalin fueled stress.

They made a 2 digit LED display that displayed a number alternated with random noise. the speed of the display could be slowwed or sped up. so they would set a random number, speed the display up and confirm that the test subject couldn't read it. then they put him in a harness high up over a safety net, and without warning dropped him.

Every time he got to the bottom they stopped the display to show the number after he said what it was and he got it right every time... even the times that were blind tests with no number (those times he couldn't read it).

Humans are amazing.
