Post Fight Interview with the All-Star Champ 

Catzi: That was a wild time Ballak, let me start off by congradulating you on your huge victory! Take us back, after you won your first two rounds to advance and then you realized you'd be facing Mathalos for the  Monday Night Fight Club All-Star Championship. How'd you feel about going up against him and what was going through your mind when he had you down and was winning?

Ballak: Mathalos is a respectable opponent. He's been playing since beta and has been an active player all along. Not only that but he's probably one of the best hybrid PvPer's out there. The thing that was going through my mind when I was losing was, "How exactly is he beating me with pure MA?". ;p Accuracy is one thing but losing to a normal MA load with mine would be down-right harsh. To be honest though, we were both on ventrilo at the time so we were just having a good time.

Catzi: Wow, so how did you manage to pull through and come back to win it?

Ballak: I probably won because of my accuracy really. I was surprised I was getting outrolled more than usual from normal MA, but it really came down to the wire. I figure if I hadn't used that load I would have probably lost, because we've dueled before using the same thing and I think I've only beat him once.

Catzi: Yes, you certainly suprised quite a few people, did you know you were a heavy underdog in the Pick4s? 

Ballak:  Meh, I can think of a few reasons why a lot of people didn't pick me for Pick4's.

#1 They didn't like me, or I was fighting one of their friends.

#2 They didn't realize what load I was using.

#3 This is one of my first tournaments, so not many know who I am.

Catzi: Well I don't think it was because they didn't like you. And I'm sure more people know who you are now and we all love underdogs and what you accomplished was amazing. People like Monet and Deadcell, among quite a few others, believed in you and they have 10 and 22 million reasons to be thrilled with your victorys. You made it a great finish to a memorable season this year. Thanks for taking the time for this, and what would you like to say to the fans of MNFC?

Ballak: Uh, for the fans of MNFC? I guess grats to all of you and I hope I can show up more. I'm just glad we're starting up more official tournaments and parties on Syntax that are actually worth going to. Your return, Catzi, is just another step for our community to be... I don't know, resurrected again. Community get-togethers are always a nice view. Thanks for giving me the opportunity for this interview Catzi, see you next time!

We chose the roof in Mannson Park for the spooky darkness on a rooftop and its RIGHT next to the hardlline, and the exile bloodrinkers that hang out there. Plus if not many show up we still got the pumpkin to activate for good fun!

To Participate:

Just show up in costume!

Machines = Taskmasters and will meet at Tabor Park Central about half hour before start time.

Mervs = Any of the Bloodrinker or Lupine masks and will meet in front of Club Succubus

Zion = Zombies and will just converge onto the scene in typical unorganized fashion (you just need to find a zombie to bite you, theres no actual mask to find)

 at the stroke of midnight everyone must be flagged at the location. Pumpkin in Manson Park  x:-896  y:79  z:127

To enter and win 10 milliion $mfo:

Email Catzi (in-game) before start time (Midnight GMT), you will then be sent back a number between 1-100.  This is all free and no entry fee's will be collected.

Everone who stays in costume and seen on location in "pvp mode" for most of the event will have a chance to win. We'll award 1 from each major org by a random lottery after 2 hours at club sphinx. (that will remove the pvp flags. i hope =P ). Thats $10million each for 3 people total.

think THAT was funny? You'll get a good chuckle out of this too... you see, that was just kinda a joke, hoping the other orgs wouldnt expect much from us. We actually DID meet at Sai Kung, but our army got either split up or lost on the way and showed up in unorthadox fashion. I can't think of a better reason to come witness a huge step forward into ending an ugly war instead of continualy going down a path that may well lead to the end of our existance. And when a zion faction and a machine faction stand up and say "it's time to talk peace", and we encourage our leaders to do the same, it shows a lot of hope and i'm very optimistic to see how the peace talk meetings between zion and machine will go over the next 30 days after the signing of the "non-aggression cease-fire pacts". Other factions that decide to join in will also be encouraged to attend these meetings, most likely 4 of them (1x week).

And yeah, just to reitterate, this treaty is between FACTIONS and NOT organazations.

 Catzi really felt uneasy. Indegestion? No, she was nervous about a meeting that she arranged with a machine faction known as The Glitch Society. Normaly she's never nervous about any meeting with her former "colleuges" of the matrix, but since war was declared against Zion things havn't been the same. Catzi is not only physically drained, but the relentless agent attacks against her whenever she leaves Richland is wearing on her mental stability as well. She wishes she could go about her day to help save humanity with her master plan, but that hasn't been easy. Time for a change. Catzi is about to talk with one of the most revelled machine factions around, something her superiors Harkee and Trepetia warned her not to do. "request for negotioating peace between Zion and Machines is denied" kept echoing through her mind. Yes, she is very uneasy.

 Catzi enters the meeting room where others are gathering. NinjaReborns, her trusted operative of The Pride of Zion who acted as her bodyguard.  Mindsweepx, one of the most respected members of The Black Code was there with his faction mate Mumbly. Both invited by Catzi to act as witnesses, hopefully she didnt lead them to a Zion Courtmarshal, or worse, a deadly trap. Bittype and her fellow machine operatives were also there. Did Catzi look for quick exits and size up the machines and check for any dangerous threats? No, she was too buzy making sure her hair makeup was perfect and that her new fedora was properlly taken off and hung up. Even dusting it a little. A quick hair check and she then sat down across from Bittype, the appointed Glitch Society member to handle the precedings.

Catzi: Thanks so much for meeting with us. I would like to propose a plan for a peacefull resolution to this ugly war and save humanity before all is lost. We just can't let everyone blow each other up.

 Bittype: Indeen TGS has always made it a policy to talk rather than fight when ever possiable.

 MindsweepX: MindsweepX nods.

 Catzi: .... and felt now might be a good time to open negotiations, save the matrix and humanity and all

 Catzi: frankly many of Zionites have gotten very tired of the agent attacks.

 Bittype: Yes... We feel that such comminication is preferable, indeed neccessary to ensure the stability of the simulation.

 Bittype: I can understand that. TGS has on occassion refused certain orders from Agent grey

 Catzi: now Zion Counsel may not be authorizing any peace talk yet, we'd like to atleast take the first step and call for a cease fire inside the simulatioin, the matrix.

 Catzi: soon we may be able to lure others to lay down their arms as well, and we can move on to more productive things

 Catzi: we can't expect each other too risk being courtmarshalled for treason, but we can simply turn down anything deemed.... "agressive"

 Catzi: we have faction anniversarys comeing up. we can tie it all together?

 Bittype: Yes. I believe that may be one way to get the message across to others. that peace is preferable.

 Bittype: I can not at this time speak for any other than TGS.

 Bittype: However should we come to an agreement regarding a treaty I can assure you that TGS will NOT engage your forces.

 Catzi: many will feal like were going beyond our means so to speak, that such some will feel its a bad idea, but what if we anounce a 30 day cease fire inside the matrix? that would be hard to opose and people would be more able to give it a chance

 Bittype: I believe you know D4sh sufficiantly to know that he will enforce this amoung our ranks.

 MindsweepX: We made a agreement with TGS...a long time ago.

 Bittype: 30 days sounds reasonable given the curcumstances. Perhaps during that time others will come to agree.

Forgive me for posting this here but after almost posting in Player Events or Discussion, it occured to me if i wanted to aim this event towards RP then this would be a lot better here to ask for a little help, instead of mixed in with the other events that are mostly partys and fighting tournys. I need volunteers that have a stronger rp desire then most. why? cuz this will be loads of fun for people who enjoy it and the end product of the event will be judged by that. So thats why im posting this in Next Renaissance section, were in need of a little quality rp with pizzaz! and i see quite a bit of it in these threads. so, lets get to it, heres the details...

Volunteers must have the following:

• an open RSI character slot.
• available to "perform" monday April 21st,   6pm-9pm pacific  -  8pm-10pm central  -  9pm-Midnight East  ( late monday night 1am GMT - 2am BST )
• available to reply back and forth a couple times thru PMs leading up to the event. in other words, check your PMs every few days!
• an ability to have fun and a use a little imagination.

   2 years ago I was less then 5 months into my redpill life, and was thrilled by the comunity social aspect of the matrix. It was then that I wanted to try to start something up for the comunity as well. I was inspired by many of you, RMC, SI Radio, Exile Radio, the fight tournaments, and all the hosts and factions that knew how to have a good time!

   I mentioned an idea i thought of to Strict9 from SI, he thought it was great idea and quickly volunteered his services as DJ.  He even walked me through step by step how to request the dj through a websight, others made posts for me, and worried that no-one would show up i asked other factions if they'd like to participate.  Emails were made and forwarded. Still, theres that little thought in the back of your mind that says "what if no one shows up?".  Needless to say i was floored when just about every single person I invited managed to show up dressed out in their best clothes and we filled all 3 levels of Club Duality completely full. The few that couldn't make it actually took the time to send me notice apologizing for their absence. *snif* Needless to say i fell in love with the matrix.

  I personally invite each and every one of you down to Club Cyclo this week so I can thank you all for making the matrix a wonderfull place.  Don't have a date for Valentines? Put on your your best clothes because the DJ is going to hook you up with a date, all you have to do is email the present DJ when you get down there. Have a date already? Great, come on down and enter one of the contests together! Couples looking to spice things up are welcome to ask for a blind date too.
