Hey, I have a question regarding sigs.

For some people I see they have sigs and then either like an Xfire sig underneath it, however when I try to do this only my sig shows up, not the Xfire thing, not even text if I try, so how do you do it?

Something that I have seen and something that bewilders me is some people have not even seen the movies and play this game. I'm not saying they should be banned or anything, but I'm intrigued as to why someone would play this game and not even take the time to watch all three movies. You will have a better understanding of the Matrix and enjoy the game much more.

I have personally seen all three movies, the Animatrix (another must watch), and finished Enter the Matrix. I haven't read the comics, however.

What about everyone else?

A random question from left-field, but something to think about nonetheless.

You have two choices:

1. You can be average in everything you do. What I mean by this is you will not excel and be the best at anything you do, but you will also not be horrible at anything you do. For example; sports, video games, school, love life, physical shape, anything really. Or...

2. You can excel at a few things, however in every other aspect, you would be bad in. So for instance you can be the best at sports or the best video game player, in the best shape, etc. but in every other aspect, you fail and/or do not meet expectations.

The answer may seem simple at first, but I would think it out first.

As we all know, the Matrix is based entirely on reason, on our intellect and what we should do. Morpheus had a great quote in the first film:

Morpheus : I feel I owe you an apology. We have a rule...we never free

a mind once it reaches a certain age. It's dangerous, and

the mind has trouble letting go. I've seen it before, and

I'm sorry. I did what I did, because...I had to.

The reason Redpills do not free the minds of adults is because they have lost their imagination and will. They are so accustomed to the system that what Neo went through would usually put a man into hysteria. Children and young teens are at the optimal age to be freed, because they still can believe the unbelievable. A child's mind is a great thing. If anyone here has kids or has been around kids, they do not have a care in the world. They do not know about murder, poverty, *CENSORED*, and everything that makes us human. Their minds are of will, not of reason.

So my question to you is, do we really lose our imagination and will as we grow older, or do we choose to lose it because society does not condone it? A child can be infatuated with the Matrix and sci-fi, but why less so for a grown person? I'd like to hear some input on this, and wheter or not you have lost the imagination and will you once had.

Pondering of MxO in class (I'm helpless, I cannot jack out of this simulation SMILEY

), I was thinking of maybe having cinematics in the future that are longer than the short 1-2 minute clips we have now.

Now, I know that the current cinematics have already been completed, but hopefully the MxO storyline will continue after the current cinematics have been let out. I feel the cinematics are the most exciting stuff in this game, because it features, for the most part, important characters and important scenes in the Matrix, and really feels like watching a movie (with so-so graphics SMILEY

).

Perhaps having cinematics that are as long as 5 minutes, something we can sit down, watch, and enjoy for a longer time than what we have now. We usually only get cinematics when Live Events start and end anyway, getting interest and finishing up the event with longer cinematics in the future will be rewarding to players, perhaps even having players in the cinematics like promised by Monolith and Paul Chadwick.

Any comments?

How much do these go for nowadays?

I believe this was mentioned before (what hasn't at one point or another..), but I'd like to see other people's take on it.

What makes PvP boring in this game is the sense that you can't really
ever accomplish anything by doing it. There's no goals or objectives,
no territory to fight for, and no sense of death or defeat because
while you have the DE, you can quickly recon and head back to the fight
in a matter of seconds.

I'd like to see a timer associated with Hardlines for PvP. What I mean
by this is, if you die and recon at a particular HL, say Mara C, there
would be a 5 minute re-use timer before you can use it again. So if you
die again, you cannot use that HL for 5 minutes.

So what's the point? If you assemble a PvP team, if you kill off an
opposing force, they cannot simply recon quickly at the adjacent HL. If
you manage to stay your ground, eventually all HL's will be lost and
enemies can't quickly get back in combat, leaving your team for a
little rest as well.

This is just off the top of my head, what do you think?

i have a stupid problem. for some reason photobucket pics wont show,
and i cant even get on their site. most likly because my firewall may
be blocking them for some reason, but how would i go about to fix this?

Well, now that the event is over, I think the main focus for SOE now is
not new content, but to use two old concepts that would greatly improve
this game:

1. Live Events Special Interest Group (LESIG)

This was coming along nicely until the SOE merger was announced and
Aether left the game. With the way this event went about, we need LESIG
badly. If we had LESIG for this event, it probably could have gone a
lot smoother. Everyone has such great ideas on how to make events
better, more fun, and satisfying. I am hoping for LESIG to be up and
running and hopefully working with the Dev team for the next event
whenever that may be.

2. The QA Test Server

For some odd reason, this was used during beta to test future
patches to see how it worked with the game and to kink out any bugs
that players saw. Then, as soon as the game launched, the QA was done
away with. The QA can be a great tool to test future patches and make
sure no gamebreaking bug goes on live servers. For incentive to play on
QA, leveling wouldn't be an option and $Info can be unlimited to test
out any low or high level content, abilities, etc.

Make these two things happen, and I guarantee a better game.

The buffs on that mask is insane. Something like that shouldn't
even be in the game, because the 5 or so people who were lucky enough
to land the finishing blow (which is totally random, you have 100
people around him spamming the Flit Gun), now have this uber item that
people who don't have it (99% of the rest of the community) will be at
a severe disadvantage in combat. The mask should be unbuffed and just
for collector's purposes.

For anyone who cares, Dame White now has all 5 missions (you used to only be able to do 2).

I can't get the Machine 2.3 Criticals to show, nor can any of my Faction-mates?

Anyone else have this problem?

I noticed that the opening intro for MxO still has the Monolith slot and not SOE.

Also, will the launcher be changed to match other SOE launchers?
