The room appears to be in the slums of Westview. Torn and tattered walls with spray can markings from various gangs claiming that this is 'their territory' riddle the walls like an odd museum. As you take in the sights the door fly's open: the hinges snap as it breaks off, flying past the view of the camera and lands noisily on the ground. Two women try to carry and restrain a man - the first is a beautiful Zionite, her hair tied up but in tatters due to fighting the muscular man. The other is dressed in leather, and hissing at the man as he struggles. They yell back and forth, but the sounds belting forth from the mans throat are too much, he howls and barks as he fights to break free...

"Damnit! He's getting too strong!" the first woman yells, "He's changing too fast, we have to sedate him!"

The second calmly replies "If we do that, he will surely loose his body in the real... Sorry my ex-love, you're going to have to endure this to survive."

The man continues to struggle as his face contorts odly, he is writhing in pain as his bone structure reforms and strengthens. Human K-9's reform as they lengthen and sharpen. All he can do is try too fight and bear the pain as his body tourtures him.

"You brought this on yourself lovely. You made a deal with the devil, and never cared what happened to you." the second woman calmly whispers in his ear. "You are your own creation, face it or die - it matters little to me..."

The Zionite shoots a cold glare to the first, looking her over and sneering at the cold comment. But she remembers that most drinkers have little emotion or use for nostalgia. She wonders what drove her to accept this, but disregards it as she feels a blow to the face - The man with red hair had managed to get loose. As he breaks free, he immediately retreats to the corner, surrounded by a makeshift operations center he lowers to all fours and growls deeply: as he claws as his own body.

"Great, so we got him here, now what?" the Zionite asks.

"You're the scientist, you tell me..." The drinker absent-mindedly picks at her fingernails and examines them. "why don't we just strap him down and let him suffer? He's a bastard anyway." She grinned at her own sharp comment.

"Yea, that will help him... Look at him! The poor son-of-a-***** is changing... And this isn't normal. He shouldn't be in any pain if his body is dying... Get your sister to his ship!" Her breathing quickens as he tries to get close and get a hold of him again, but her attempts fail. Each time she tries to get close he drops back to all fours and begins to snap his newly found K-9's at her. As she backs away he begins to whimper and hold his head as he drops to the floor in a ball, much like a newborn baby or someone fresh out of the Pods. He writhes in agony as the Drinker's phone rings.

She spoke coldly into her phone, "Yea?... You don't say. My but this is interesting, I wonder if he survives what we will call him." She smiled as she closed her phone, her obtrusive fangs glinting in the light. "Seem's his body isn't dying, but reflecting the changes we see here. This day just got interesting, even by my standards."

The man convulsed a final time, his eyes lay open - the iris now yellow. He lay there as if dead as his EJP began to kick in. All the two women could do was watch as it flickered on and off, almost as if rebooting - or shocking a heart to restart it's beat.

Also, Agree with Phrack.  Trinity alive?  Even in a android for as the ooligarchs or whatever is too much of a stretch.  She was in machine city, and if the oogy-boogys didn't chase merv ships there, how did they get trinity's body?  I'm not trying to be a nay-sayer, but it just doesn't stack up as the movies did.  At least there, the theory and thesis had grounds in reality somewhat, and were explanible.

Also, the idea of DNA being the control for creating "The one" is rather far fetched.  There is a large chunk of the human genome that is still unexplainable, unaccountable which scientist consider the portion that could possibly make up a soul.  Those that believe in such a thing of course. 

But this is a numbers game.  Not some science fair show showing the charts of the color rats that two parent rats can breed.  It's the fact that everyone is slightly different.  In no way can everyone be pleased.  (Can't please all of the people all of the time kind of thing).  The Neo is just the one who cannot be pleased at all, so he is therefore a method of control.  Anger breeds quick action, quick action is foreseeable.

Just my .02, but it sure seems like it's a similar level to the movie "The Sting".

Also, My one major merv question has always been...

If the twins healed when they went etheral, how did they "Blow apart" when Morpheus blew up the Caddy?  They were plainly seen going etheral as they went skyward... meaning the flames blow through them, and they gain the ability to move through the fire and land safely and healed.  (Bullet wounds are instantly healed when the one went etheral after morpheus lit his arm up, and the twin felt obviously no pain.) Major inconsistancy in the exile story part of it IMO.

But, overall, not too bad/not too great.  Acceptable, if you didn't really get into the theology and major philosophy of the movies.
