From Data Node One:
- Activity Facilitator Consumables
Activity
Facilitator 1.0 and 2.0 are now available in game. These new consumable
items can be activated at any time (even while stunned or pacified) and
will clear all stun and pacify states. However, your immunity timer
will be reduced by 1/2 at the time of activation. - Activity Facilitator 1.0 has a 15-minute cooldown timer.
- Activity Facilitator 2.0 has a 10-minute cooldown timer.
- Both consumables share a 10 minute family cool down timer.
They are the "OH GOD I GOT STUNNED DON'T LET ME DIE THIS WAY" Pill.

Like I said, it is the "Not This Way" pill. I can see it working
in the short term, though. It all depends on whether it shakes
out to be a one-time sweep of negative effects or if it has a short
time invulnverability like rolling out of Interlock does now.
Thanks to the big re-use timer, it is a perfect match for the Awakened Sunglasse/Jackets with THEIR re-use timers.
And yes, hearing the word 'temporary fix' freaks me out. Nigh on
20 years of Software QA experience will do that to a person!

According to the Dev Notes, there will be a new item that allows a
constant Sixth Sense scan that not only pulls people out of sneak, but
drops their Evade Shield and roots them. It is part of the
balancing they are doing to bring the Spy into line. They felt it
was too powerful.

I am still reeling from the simple fact that there is something out there in MegaCity that makes Data Mining useful. Back in Beta i SO wanted it to be a good development track and I was disappointed.

I was wandering around tapping the other night and I found what I thought to be a supernode RIGHT in front of the MetaCortex Bldg that was giving roughly 2500/2500 each successful tap.
HOWEVER, it eventually DID tap out. I am level 37 and was getting the 'high level node' message most of the time...
Wandered around some more but never got one that tapped for more than 1800/1800.

Ahhhh the power of Griefers and CCRs.... :/
So now the CSRs are going to be patrolling every Downtown data node with a stopwatch and chalking tires to make sure that you don't park too long? I feel the need for another faction, the MegaCity Meter Maids.

I bumped into TheTailor a while back as well. Had an enlightening discussion with him. I find that his and my ideals are pretty similar though we approach things from different directions.

Is it just me or does this Agent Pace character rub you the wrong way? (Keep it clean, people)
I mean, 'she' seems to dilute the magic that makes Agents,
Agents. The aloofness and the logic that were Agent/Machine
trademarks are tossed aside This new 'interface' has made my skin
crawl the way no other piece of tech has since Microsoft's Office
Assistant came out...

After reading the recent message to RedPills everywhere, the whole "
Ciao Riossopillolos..." affectation sounds a little too Merovingian for my liking.

Interesting points, all.
The crux of the matter with me is that Agent Pace humanizes that which
should not be humanized. It borders on condescending. I
think I would respond better to contempt than coddling...

Watch.
We will find out that Pace is an empowered exile, like the Frenchman, that has semi-autonomy.
The Machines found out how formidable the Frenchman was and so, want to
leverage that power. They create a program that works for them
but I still think the whole Agent pool is diluted by Pace's addition.
Still, I am very intrigued to see where the storyline goes with Pace.

I think I would feel better about Agent Pace if it turns out to be some
sort of plot against the machines. Some kind of infiltration or
ploy that someone was behind. Why is everyone always picking on
the poor machines? heh.

Totally a good time! I just recently found my old screen
shots. I ran out the clock on the top of the Govt bldg in Park
East smacking Agents around. I took out one last Agent and
leveled JUST as the time came.
