The ‘/who' command is an undeniably useful one, but the radius is far too wide.  For example, if you use it to see who's around at Tabor West, the list takes you as far as Mara Central.  Trying to discover those on the list is a frustrating, and often fruitless task when such a wide area is covered, and can adversely affect spontaneous pvp.

Reducing its reach to an area of, for arguments sake 400m would dramatically increase the chances of actually running into the other players, thus elevating the prospect of the aforementioned pvp.  This wouldn't discount cross-district hard lines which are in the immediate vicinity (Hampton Green Northeast and Union Hill South for example), and would grant players an improved awareness of who is in the immediate area.  Lower levels would also benefit from knowing that opposing organizations are close by, in keeping with the danger aspect of the Matrix. 

A possible fix could be retaining ‘/who', but also implementing ‘/area' for a 400m radius surrounding your current location.

Perhaps it's my computer, but the forums seem to be 'acting up' of late.

They are running at an extremely low speed, oftentimes taking ten seconds+ to load a page.  My broadband connection is fine, and other sites load in the usual, prompt manner.

I also seem to get this dreaded image, everytime I attempt to load an avatar:

 I've used every available format, to no avail.  This is also in addition to seeing this image instead of other users' avatars, and to a lesser extent signatures. 

An increasingly typical bout of interlock on Vector:

I'm of the opinion that everyone should fight on their own merits, without the use of external buffs.  I don't TB, and I don't accept buffs when offered them.  Some are dependent on such things, and whilst that's all well and good and totally their prerogative, the ensuing trash-talk becomes rather redundant on the back of a victory-under-the-influence.

I'll never win the battle to remove all buffs and heals from the game, so instead I propose a simple, viewable symbol to indicate the usage of a Tactic Booster, shown here in a hastily thrown together pictorial display:   

This doesn't have a great deal of practical applications, but it does immediately solve many a laborious debate, and would perhaps encourage reasoning and planning over a burst of green code in the arm, and a guaranteed victory (sometimes not guaranteed, which is always amusing).  There are many bugs/fixes/alterations etc which take precedence over this minor detail, but I believe it to be worth considering.

The forums don't seem to be acknowledging that new posts have been read, and should therefore no longer be labelled as new.  Every board I go into has almost a full page of 'new posts', not just the threads which actually do have new posts contained.

I haven't heard this mentioned by anybody else.  Is it perhaps some form of cookies fiasco, for example?

In the coming weeks, I may just attempt that leap out of the stone age, and build a new computer. 

I've done some component research of my own, but advice from those more knowledgeable on the subject would be vastly appreciated.

I'll be retaining the existing case/hard-drive/dvd & floppy drive so require suggestions on the following:

Motherboard (HD-out preferable for future-proofing)
Memory
Graphics card
Power Supply
Processor

My only stipulations are as follows;

2 gb RAM
AMD CPU/Motherboard

If the new set-up requires cooling etc, feel free to drop that in too (being wary of expense/my existing custom comp has an independent fan)  I suppose it should be compatible with the forthcoming Vista madness, but I'm not particularly bothered if it isn't.

I envisage the budget will total somewhere around £500/$950 - £600/$1140 (extra points for less), and being in the UK will need components which are available here.

I am a total, unashamed devotee (translated - geek) of the Buffyverse, as well as Angel and Firefly/Serenity. 

For the ardent fans of BTVS, I don't need to tell you how beyond exciting this is, although I'd kill for another series or movie.
