Ich glaube die Texte der Bluepills sollte am allerletzten Platz auf der Prioritätsliste stehen. Ich glaube, das Spiel könnte sehr gut auch ohne sie existieren, da sie einfach keinen Sinn machen und völlig aus dem Kontext gerissen sind.

I've only crashed one single time after the last patch, and that wasn't the first time (i.e. patch hasn't caused it).

So yea, stop whining and accusing the Devs how bad they are, and get a new internet connection (or at least write /ccr reports.

All I can say is that I (and a few others I know in-game) haven't crashed so it's appearently not a global issue. Well, I've crashed one time, as I said, but I already happened to crash before rarely, so pure logic tells me that it has nothing to do with the patch.

Oops, that's apparently because I hit the wrong key...
 
The thing was, I absolutely haven't understood what he meant by that sentenct, but if you maybe look back at my post, you'll see a SMILEY, also known as "smiley", which means that particular sentence wasn't actually meant so seriously.
 
P.S.: I'm from Germany myself so the argument about "what country they are from" was pretty superfluous (uhh, hope that was spelled correctly). What I really critisized was more the things he said and how he said them, like my predecessor did either.

This is about a move type in Melee vs. Armed Interlock that was removed along with CR 2.0.

 

Let's say, if you're using a Melee style and your opponent a gun style. If you would won the round, there were two possibilities: Either you disarmed him or you jumped (or rather "rubberbanded") a few meters back and then started an artistic move sequence while approaching your opponent and finally hitting him.

As far as I've seen, there was one such animation for each Aikido, Karate and Self Defense, aswell as two for Kung Fu (of which one, I believe, was connected to the grab tactic).

Although not that bad at itself, the sneaking version of Aikido used to annoy me, mostly because it was sometimes played over and over again. However, the other four moves were pretty much awesome to look at, and the same as with some other animation groups that have fallen victim to CR 2.0 (like wall kicks or disarming moves), it's sad to see these go.

 

Here's a little suggestion: Reimplement those moves and make them appear as alternatives to (hit-fail) finishers. Maybe even just for Melee vs. Melee, since it was a bit unrealistic to sneak or jump around while your enemy had a gun in his hand. :smileywink:

I can imagine how annoying it has to be. But as I said, I crashed only once after the patch and that wasn't even a big exception. But yea, if crap like that happened to you (and apparently to several others) you have the right to be furious about that SMILEY If it's really because of the patch, I guess I was just terribly lucks to have avoided all the bugs.
 
And I wasn't really "critisizing" your grammar, I just haven't understood a particular sentence you had written, and your aggressiveness provocated me to make that comment SMILEY

In the movies, all redpills use mobile phones. Mouse had one as he got shot, too. Could he jackout by using it? No. The only purpose of those phones was communication with each other and the operator. Ok, Cypher used his one to reveal their position to the agents, but that's something different. Also, if an operator loads anything into someone's brain (like helicopter flying abilities into Tryinity's), he doesn't use hardlines or mobile phones but simply their connection. Ok, not so sure about the last one...


Not a bad idea, but I don't think it will be ever implemented. As it was said before, it would cause balance problems and wouldn't make too much sense. But could be.

This question pretty much sums it up. I simply don't understand what the details text sais.
All I know is that it's an area effect which causes grey street mobs attack you. Is that the only purpose of Taunt, making non-aggressive NPCs attack you without damaging them?

I didn't really like any of those "approach" moves very much... and the fact that they did get played so often just made it worse. Hands down though, the Aikido chop of Doom was easily the worst. Thing is, even though I wasn't a huge fan, it still sucks to have lost the animations completely.


In my case, only the Aikido version got played too often, which admittedly made me freak out; when I was using the other styles, my character usually disarmed the enemy as as soon as he won the round, or at least much more often. However, following my suggestion, these moves will be only played in the final rounds from time to time, so they shouldn't get too intrusive.


Actually, I agree with you about the Aikido version. No matter if the opponent was armed or unarmed (theoretically), it just always looked a bit silly. So just for me, I wouldn't mind if Aikido gets left out if the approaching animations will ever be reimplemented, but I also wouldn't demand it. However, I can't really comprehend why you didn't like the other three (?), I really loved them -- fast, furious and acrobatic.


( And yeah, the Karate leaping side kick was awesome... but it was actually an unarmed VS unarmed move done from long inerlock range, not an unarmed VS armed move. I believe I was the one who noted it before, but it also wasn't a grab move, it just happened that a common grab tactic move would push your opponent to the perfect range for the leaping side kick to be activated... it could activate at that range no matter what tactic you were using. )


Yea, I still have that thread on the top of the board (edit: or wait, I've even put a link to that thread above!!), I just couldn't think of anything useful to reply to I let it be. Your answer pretty much covered everything.

However, I only experienced it when using the Karate grab tactic. Could this also happen after a successful Machinegun Kick, or some other move my level was too low for back then?

  These constructs are only accessible via named Archivist Proxies. Their presence in the hardline list is a leftover of some older idea put on the backburner: either it was meant to include hardlines into constructs, or something else.

As already said, you need to find your organization's Archivist Broker vendor (listed above), all three located in a library lobby, and buy a construct book from him. Then, you need to equip it and stand next to the Archivist Proxy who sends all players in a certain radius to archives (constructs) all 3 minutes. If your level is within the book's level range, and your organization matches the book's, you'll be teleported into the according construct.

The Archivist Brokers also sell Stat Hack mission tickets (one that rewards you with a Stat Hack tool, which you can use to reset your character' stats), Archive Mission tickets and White Hallway keys.

Ok, I thought it might be of some interested to have a list of all possible masks you can get in the game. It isn't anything really crucial but nice to know.

Here's my list of all different masks I know, if anyone knows anothe one, please post them. Especially I'd like to know if there are any above 30 and if not, why the disguise ability should be upgraded after 30.

No level requirements: Clerk, Construction Worker, Waiter, Lab Worker, Office Worker, Hell Club

Level 15:                       Mechanic, Chateau Guard, Ensign

Level 20:                       Lupine, SWAT Guard, Lieutenant

Level 25:                       Blood Drinker, Commander, Enforcer

Level 30:                       Agent

  As far as I've understand, a construct applies to any virtual instance, including the Matrix itself. However, the Matrix isn't referred to as construct, so constructs in MxO mean either separate instances accessible from the Matrix, or rarelier, training constructs.

Actually, the constructs we're talking about are called "Archives". "Constructs" is a too abstract term, especially now that new constructs apart from archives have been implemented-

  I don't know if this is a ground-breaking discover or a well-known feature already discussed to death somewhere in the past, but at least I was quite surprised by it and thought I should post it.

When casually taking a closer look at a Richland side alley (they all have the same texture as far as I know), I've discovered that the regular crack patterns I had reckoned as abstract actually pictured insects.

Here a few examples:






I heard, in the past they put hidden messages (for a lack of a better term) inside the city textures themselves as a part of storytelling. Is this maybe a left-over from the Assassin plot?

  There aren't any plans to do that. However, apart from a few constructs, I heard they had worked on a few additional areas. There was some kind of a power plant with zombies, and possibly some other area they keep in secret.
My theory would be the freeway system since it was already modeled for the movie and I think Rarebit mentioned they had had some kind of an intention to do that.

To a question concerning his world design abilities, he also stated that he basically was able to create some kind of new district or neighborhood, but from what I've read, it would probably be some sort of copy of what we already have.

Just repeating, they don't have plans, but you shouldn't completely give up your hopes.

There seems to be a new power finisher for the Self Defense style where you're grabbing your opponent's throat with one hand and performing a few additional hits with the other. I've never seen that one before, so I guess it's a CR 2.0 feature.

Since I've hardly used Self Defense back then, here's question to those who have: Are there more finisher changes in the Self Defense style? Have any further been added or removed? Does that particular one now replace an old animation?

This is most probably one of the Lupine abilities in a place it's not supposed to be. I've only experienced it in Self Defense about two times, but I'm sure it's exactly the same animation the victim of that Lupine attack performs.

There are actually a few different constructs modeled out and accessible via some exploit (the screenshots I saw were quite impressive), but I don't think they're likely to be introduced anytime soon.

By the way, it would be just the usual pattern:
when they're inaccessible, people start screaming "Wow, those look awesome! Could you include them, even if without loot and NPCs?" - and when they're out (like the org constructs recently), it just goes like "Ok, just areas to look at - where's the content?"
