I'm at RMC:Terminals weekend windup and Havocide turned up slightly different, Effy turned him into the Oracle. Now I've not seen the true Oracle dance but when Hav was dancing it turned up a strange graphical glitch:

Now I have just upgraded to the Beta version of nVidia's Forceware drivers for XP (163.75) but every other RSI (fake and otherwise) are fine when dancing, you might be able to see Merv's RSI is fine. This happens at a certain distance, when closer their RSI's look fine... Is this something to do with the drivers or is it an already known issue? Oh and I'm using the GeForce 7600GT on XP not the 8000 series on Vista.

Ever since the update patch I've been getting this error every now and then 'Login Rejected... Shutting down...' which closes the client down when clicking on ok...
Anyone know what this is about and if it's me or something wrong with the server?

I just saw this on Youtube. The no look pistol kill move. I know that there were some moves taken out for CR2.0 due to the timings of them, but if there was a way to get them to work within CR2.R I'd love this move to return, sheer cockiness! Does anyone else know of any other moves that they want back?

Ok as mentioned occasionally my PC halts it's bootup during the windows bootscreen. Sometimes it fails to shut down past the logon prompt screen. Most curiously of all though is it's tendency to turn itself on of its own accord... It's something I can live with, there seems to be no common factor in any of these occurrences and their easily remedied, but if anyone can point out any obvious flaws then I'd appreciate it!
Here is my DXDIAG Info:

I've noticed during the past few days that my camera settings randomly change from static to scripted on occasion, most noticed during PvP, anyone else had this happen to them? Any idea of the cause?

In your inventory you can 'prefer' weapons depending on type. I thought that this meant that they were used, according to what ability each required, over anything else in the inventory. Now I have a 'preferred' pistol, duel pistols, rifle and duel smg's, however when I go farming and loot a few low level weapons along the way the abilities always seem to use the first weapon of the correct type available in inventory rather than my 'preferred' choices. Do I have the meaning totally wrong or is it a bug that's never been fixed? If my presumption was right and it is a bug, I obviously don't see it as a major issue. In PvP I usually clear out my loot before hand but if I forget or I'm farming then combat comes my way then some abilities will be using weapons with a lower base rate of damage.

Hi from sunny Oman! Hope everyone is well and the Drama is ticking over nicely! (Links to any worthwhile drama threads would be appreciated for next time I get access to the 'net, saves me searching for them ) I'm out here participating in a joint exercise with the USAF, RAF and Navy. Whilst I've not been one to worship the sun I must say that a nice tan is creeping up on me even though my job resides indoors! Luckily I don't have to sleep in a tent, I have a nice air conditioned porta-cabin, although I'm always checking my boots and shoes and pretty much everything else for spiders and scorpions... urgh... Well have fun with the update, I still have a few more weeks out here, so I'll have to catch up on all that I've missed out on then. I may even get a few photo's from the area posted up when I get back too! Bai!

Is there any way to change the cosmetic looks of your character? Such as makeup, hair style and colour? I have only just noticed that my character has lipstick like she's had to apply it whilst on a bumpy car ride or turbulent jack-in! Oh dear!

Per Ardua ad Astra ("Through Adversity to the Stars") For those of you unaware the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom celebrates its 90 birthday today. It is still a source of national pride along with the Army and Royal Navy. The Royal Air Force was founded on 1 April 1918, during the First World War, by the amalgamation of the Royal Flying Corps and the Royal Naval Air Service. After the war, the service was cut drastically and its inter-war years were relatively quiet, with the RAF taking responsibility for the control of Iraq and executing a number of minor actions in other parts of the British Empire. The RAF underwent rapid expansion prior to and during the Second World War. Under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan of December 1939, the air forces of British Commonwealth countries trained and formed "Article XV squadrons" for service with RAF formations. Many individual personnel from these countries, and exiles from occupied Europe also served with RAF squadrons. In the Battle of Britain in the late summer of 1940, during the Second World War, the RAF defended the skies over Britain against the German Luftwaffe, helping foil Hitler's plans for an invasion of the United Kingdom, and prompting Prime Minister Winston Churchill to say in the House of Commons on August 20, "Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few". The largest RAF effort during the war was the strategic bombing campaign against Germany by Bomber Command. While RAF bombing attacks against Germany began almost immediately upon the outbreak of war, from 1942 onwards, under the leadership of Air Chief Marshal Harris, these attacks became increasingly devastating as new technology and greater numbers of superior aircraft became available. Controversially, the RAF adopted a policy of night-time area bombing that saw raids on German cities such as Hamburg and Dresden. Other units, however, developed precision bombing techniques for specific operations, such as the "Dambusters" raid by No. 617 Squadron During the Cold War years the main role of the RAF was the defence of the continent of Europe against potential attack by the Soviet Union, including holding the UK's nuclear deterrent for a number of years. Since the end of the Cold War, several large scale operations have been undertaken by the RAF, including the Kosovo War, the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan and the 2003 invasion of Iraq. From the recognizable features of the Spitfire and Hurricane to the Lightning, Phantom and the Vulcan bomber to today's force of Harriers, Tornados and Typhoons with numerous aircraft inbetween including the Halifax bomber in which my own Grandfather flew during WWII, The Royal Air force remains a permanent source of Air power for the United Kingdom, her commonwealth and her allies. A service in which, I'm proud to serve.
/salute

I really, really hate goodbye threads. But I've unsubbed now to spend time on real life. While technically the last day of the month is my last subbed day I'll probably not be on much. PvP has become the same old same old and I never could get into any player RP. Might pop in now and again in the coming months but unless something new turns up it'll be a brief visit. As the title implies all my stuff will be saved with my characters so noone is getting it. I'm not gonna list people here so to all the good guys and girls who I know and got on with, be you Zionite, Merv or Mech - Take it easy, I'll see you around either here or another future MMO.

So CERN's Large Hadron Collider is gonna get turned on on 10th September underground in Switzerland. Some people fear that the experiment will create miniature black holes, in fact two people are so worried that a miniature black hole will expand (disproving Hawkins' theory that a miniature black hole would evaporate in a billionth of a billionth of a second) and swallow the Earth, that they have filed a lawsuit to stop it... in Hawaii. While it's doubtful that that suit will be successful, there are others who are persuing the issue in the European Court of Human Rights. What do you think, unfounded fear, or doomsday approaching?

Ok I have little imagination/creativity but I've had Photoshop CS2 on my PC for ages now, so I want to try my hand.. I have been blown away by some of the pieces of Art submitted by Pyraci, Mantra777, HT etc....
Apart from some signatures which I've cut and pasted together I've never attempted to edit my images.
I decided that I will attempt to follow some of the tutorials from the forum to manipulate some of my screenshots, hopefully, in time, I will be able to enhance the images somewhat....
So here goes.... please provide any feedback, it will help me out a lot!
These two are created for Pyraci's Too Little, Too Late (Open RP) thread on the Syntax boards. I wanted to achieve a somewhat Film Noir/Sin City-esque look...
Instructions....

Right, so I know why non-US players can't see adverts that US players do without doing something with their ISP's or IP address' or something, but that's a different subject. I'd like to know why some city ads (and I take it that they aren't the US ads) are covered with the 'Ad Space for Rent' signs?
For example, here are a row of three billboards with the Ad Space for Rent wording but, move the camera slightly and you will see that some (not all ads, but the middle one shown did also have an ad behind but I couldn't catch it) do have ads behind them:

Why is this?
I know that there have been contests for ads (I know that there were certain issues with that competition too) but a few more ads, relevant to the Matrix and the world it's set in, scattered around would make the city a little less bland for non-US players.

I'm unsure of the reason, and if it's been posted about already I apologise. I jacked in today, as I do every Thursday, to do the weekly critical, but there wasn't one available today. Just wondering if it's because we're at the end of a sub chapter and when we could expect another!
