Sure I'd love a price cut but at what price would this price cut be? I'm not at the point where I'm ready to yank my sub, however if these 'economic times' get really bad I may have no choice but to cut discressionary spending for a while.

But so far & pbbly b/c I havent been playing that long, I haven't done all the neighborhood contact missions nor have done the all the archieve missions of all 3 orgs. Sure I miss the stuff that went on B4 when I was starting out - the stuff that made MxO extra special.

But I did start running with my Vector RSI & its been a blast learning almost all over again (like always be aware of your surroundings while even just farming Red Frags in Historic lest you allow Synapze777 to 'smite' you ) . One's pulse does quicken as you are either closing in for a kill or trying to flee from one - so far that's still fun even if the killing or fleeing were not that day successful - and worth the fee I still pay.

Better all around I think with '500' for SOE & us players - a one player MMO is not so fun. Region-based fees might be helpful too - (previously was mentioned Euro costing). A friend playing from St Petersburg is still expected to pay a rather high price relative to her regional economy - sometimes it's not possible. You are right though, there will come a time when I've done all I wanted and more importantly all my friends have gone to another game or just gone.

Awww I want both - Well ok since I gotta choose, I choose then #2. Could always do a Crit Mish to get the story's progression. I'd even had my work day start a little late so I could get the mission done after server restart B4 heading in. Nvr made too many Lives (my timing sucked) and some IMO were a bit lame. The story continuing was the bait that got me to take that pill 1st - although nvr really gave thought that all stories have an END and even the story here had to conclude at some point; then what? (OK, Now it sounds like I'm favouring #1)

Question 1: Is the game dead? If a person without legs is 'dead' then YES the game is dead b/c we're missing something; but...

Question 2: Is it too late to bring it back? H3LL NO!!! (but the Oracle did say that everything that has a beginning has an end)

Surprised the Hel out of me. I was almost finished an Archive mission with an alt and down I went. Nvr noticed the warnings in the system chat. But b/c is not 100% every Thursday is shutdown morning I usually look for it here, since I didn't see it I wasnt paying much attention to the 4am MCT hour.

(Maybe if we had mediskel equipmont the wait times in Emerg rooms in the Real would be less.)

Truly I regret finding this game so late. At game end will have only been a year. It was good when I started but was even better from all I have read & heard

I regret that for some 'friends' it will be a parting of the ways. Some have already moved to other games like LOTRO, but that one I couldn't get past the lame melee graphics (IMO).

Since we won't be jacking in after 31 July where is everyone going? I've trialed a few games so IDK where I'll end up. This is going to leave a bit of a hole I'll have to plug. So where are you all going & do you have any game suggestions.

The Matrix goes then Megacity goes and the blue pills no longer have their alternate reality. Electrical output will fail & Deus Ex Machina will die and the machines grind to a halt.

The Merovingian (& Co) will just just cease to exist b/c the Matrix is gone without a follow on version. A backup file with no where to go is useless)

Too many people helped me along on Recursion, Vector, Syntax. If I started naming ppl I would invaribly forget someone. so please, its not that I didn't value your help/gameplay just that darn lump in throat is back and the eyes get watery just thinking about all you guys and what this game was to me and i can't think straight. I gotta say some though:

Badkiity for inviting me into my first Faction, PS10N for game history and Macro teaching and pretty good Fac boss, Conrac & Cookie1017 for being at Tabor E when I coded my way into my 1st lvl 50 (much more than this too Cookie but you know already). DantecountZero, your dedication to learning the storyline that passed while you were a bluepill. Badw0lf you were pretty keen to learn and were in game long b4 I noticed you - university kept you fairly busy in the real we didn't get done all that we wanted to. Dulux, was I twin one or twin 2 that time? PinkPixie we needed more ppl like you that landed here and took of running AND STAYED. - I'll see you in Fallen Earth. Ajiing thanks for the help and friendly words and giving me a chance to ponder what this world was to me.

Also the neighborhood collectors, who they were what they collected & what we got. I know that we all had our favorite collectors that we used for ourselves or new fac members to get items but some we didn't maybe ever use

Maybe dungeon bosses & their 'gifts'. We know it now, and we have web sites to go, but maybe in 6 months they are gone.

Even the lvls & xp needed - where we realized lvl 40 was only 1/2 pt for xp

Oh and Interlock Graphics - I couldn't get past the less than MxO graphics when trialling LOTRO. Huge reason I didn't continue even though some players here tried to convince me to stay.

Oh and the graphics in the Churches & the details on many building that you might not even notice. The pigeon coops on the roof in International

& I will miss the people, yes I will.

Yes. Thank you Virrago and Raijinn - we would be further up that creek, negative paddle and canoe. But 12 hrs without a proper running MxO had me rather twitchy - I ditched work today to get some lvl in - I can only imagine when 1 Aug rolls around...
