From the post itself. As long as SOE keep their grubby mits of development and Customer Support, It'll be fine.
That what the producers of Vanguard said first, but then they ran out of money and gave the game to SoE, let's hope Flying Lab has enough money to see this through to the end.
The "Big Dog" over at FLS has stated that they are fine financially and won't suffer the same fate as Vanguard. Something about where they get there money or something, I dunno the details. Long story short, PotBS is not an SOE game. It's an FLS game being Platform Published by SOE and it should stay that way. " width="15" height="15" />
- RedLynk
Until the mysterious - "OMGWTF WHERE ALL MY MUNNIES GO!?!??!" happens as the head guy at SOE kicks up his feet sulking in his perpetual, stereotypical, and manipulative bad-guy overcast shadow.
If SOE assumes control of the developmental aspects of Pirates, I don't know if I'll keep with it. It looks to me like one of those games that really has creative potential like MxO, but can be overlooked by the masses. If that happens, it'll suffer the same fate.

EFK - 1,100- 1,200 Sky High - 800-900 Dim Mak - 1,200 -1,300 WDD - 1,400 - 1,500 Tomo Nage - 1,500 - 2,000 Ki Charge Footsweep - 1,900 - 2,200
All are unbuffed, assuming that MA Prowess + Power are what the moves are being preformed in. EFK and Dim Mak damage is listed assuming a Sky High Sidekick has landed before the attack. Tomo Nage damage seems to be erratic even when considering the innate buff activation before the damage lands.
Also, all are listed during everyday PvP. These aren't the highest damage possibilities, but what I seem to get when dealing with people who are using balanced resistance to all classes.

Timers break because of tactic switching. An ability will bug at the end of the round if either participant has used a DPE or Controlled Burst, and switches to block at the end of the round while the defender is still shown on the ground. You'll notice a brief lag time when the defender is getting up, and that's how you know it's broken.

I'm pretty sure that anyone who is left in MxO wouldn't mind shelling out another $40 for some new content. Worst case scenario: They don't pay and they still have content that comes from the normal patches.

I suppose that someone could've not gotten the memo, but Bay is probably right. I doubt we have enough content on average in the first place to warrant such a thing, as players are willing to take any bone that we can get. =/

Don't those wall kicks fit into the 4 sec animation timer, or whatever? I think that because of the way CR2 is, for example, fighting and NPC's shooting through walls ect. I think the system doesn't allow to use a wall for running. Plus I don't think they were ever changed for the 4 second timer
The thing with Wallkicks were most of the time they were in bullet time and thereby went REALLY fast. In actuality, the attack is about the same as when your character flips on one hand and shoots the opponent, which is a speed single handgun finisher.
Fights never go near walls anymore because people don't take the time to really appreciate a duel. On Recursion I see long fights all the time where one measly wall kick would change boring duels to "*CENSORED* that was secks!". Too bad we can't earn special abilities, like pounce. Just redpill stuff, like Hyperstomp. Jump up in interlock and stomp on your opponent's head >.> I don't know about you guys, but if I could do that, I would call Dracomet my god (since he's the only one who codes this stuff.)
CR2 took the awesome out of fighting to make it less buggy.
Hope. It is the quintessential human delusion, simultaneously the source of your greatest strength and your greatest weakness. Be careful what you wish for. All hail 9mmFu. Hail hail hail hail hail.

To me, the Cypherites have always done what the Machines have really wanted to do, but couldn't because of the appearance that they have to maintain. We cancel out EPN's overzealous efforts by adhearing to the same lack of boundaries displayed by that organization. CTU if you will. We terrorize the terrorists.

Someone once told me they killed a level 50 with their level 35 before CR2.
Someone also told me they got to do Pistol Evasion in bullet-time.
I've never seen of or heard of these since.
There are useropts for enabling bullet time for every move, so I don't think that a slow-mo Pistol Evasion would be out of the question. 50's with 35's were easy with a TB+ some buffs, etc or hacker (assuming that the person didn't have any viral resistance).

K/D spreads only work in FPS's. It would only serve to show Hyperjump frequency in MxO.

I'd love to see the Merovingian flex his digital muscles in some event with spammers, and just port them to some place akin to purgatory. They'd have to suicide to leave, it would be along RP guidelines, and it would discourage people ruining events for the rest of us. It would be hilarious as well.

Please. Tell me: Why in god's name would you want to make things more difficult in obtaining items like Headgear? It's already the most tedious farming process in the game. It's not as if by lengthening the process more, more people are going to farm out the item on their own instead of having someone do it for them. They're just not going to attempt it at all.
Please stop breaking my Matrix. =[

Well, The reason i think Agents are 255 is simple. Follow with me.
The Max Value in a Color system is 255. The Lowest is 0.
now, the Max Value in NPC levels is 255.
makes perfect sense.
I remember Morpheus NPCs to be pinged at 255 also. back in the day.
I think the level system is based on Hex (1 through 9, A through F, 10 through 19, 1A through 1F, 20 through 29, etc), whereas in a given amount of memory "FF" is the highest value (without having to increase the amount of memory used). FF translates to 255.
All programs, including Agents, are at a limited supply even for the Machines. Level 255 Agents are used to ensure that the victim will not take that Agent down or can not escape without a struggle, and are therefore used for keeping redpills and exiles away from more important areas. Agents lower than level 255 are used to protect less important things. I don't think Agents normally appear lower than level 50, or more definitely 45. Under Agents are Machine Captains, Enforcers, SWAT, and the lowest level security programs and bluepill security guards.
In short, story-wise, Agents that are level 255 are that level for a very good reason.
Even though this makes sense from a story perspective, it doesn't leave a lot of wiggle room. Morpheus, Niobe, etc are lv 60. Morpheus has killed an Agent. I believe that a (talented) level 50 character should be able to take down an Agent, but the Agent should have a great deal of resistance. After all, it would only add to the Matrix lore for you to be able to say that you've defeated an Agent alone.
