This evening I was exploring the white hallways when I ran into these two Agents.  They wanted to thank me, The Collective, and all the machines for our efforts recently to secure the safety of the Matrix from Zion and Merv terrorists.  However they feel that we can always improve since humans are naturally imperfect.  They stated that humans need to be motivated and lack the precision and effeciency of machines.  They asked me what could motivate us human machinists to step it up even further.  They were pleased with my answer and are eagerly awaiting the results.

In the spirit of competition and teamwork I will be offering $100 mill to the first machinist who reaches 10k CQ points before I do.  If you are unable to beat me I will still offer $50 mill to the first machinist who can reach 10kCQs.  If you have less than 4k CQs I will give $50 mill to the first machinist who can reach 5k CQs.

To qualify for this contest obviously you must be a machinist.  You also must have at least 110 machine rep.  You must post a screenshot right now of what your current CQ points are.  After that we are going in increments of 500.  For example if you have 6430 CQ points then you must post another screenshot once you reach 7k and then post a screenshot every 500 after that. 

We are on the honor system guys so please do not try to cheat and have one of your Merv or Zion buddies lay down for you.  We will be able to tell if you cheated or not.  Good luck machinists.  This is a win, win, situation here.  We will either purge all of Megacity of the Zionite and Merv groups who continue to defy the laws of the Matrix and show off their powers in front of blue pills.  Or they will be afraid to turn on their flags in fear of the efficient Machinists taking them down.  We have recently learned that once machinists enter an area were there are hostiles and we clean them out they do not return.  So go out there and make all the machinists proud, and let these blue pills live in peace and keep the truce in tact!

Some of you have been talking alot of trash in PvP about how you can beat everyone up one on one.  Well now is your chance to prove it.

"PUT UP, OR SHUT UP!"

When: September 30th

Where: Sai Kung Dojo

Time: 5:00pm MCT

Host: Hopefully X.FM

Since I postponed the "Sexy Redpill contest" I still do not want to be bored on Saturday night.  Therefore we will be bringing back our "King of the Hill" tournmanet for that night.  Most of you remember this tournament but for those who do not I shall briefly explain.

This is an anything goes duel tournament.  Bring whatever build you like however no health pills, antibiotic pills, or tactic boosters are allowed.  Any buffs you have must come from your own build and nothing outside.  Yes you can use Mobius code.

This is how this works.  Two people will begin the fight.  Winner stays on the mat loser leaves the mat.  The first person to give the winner $500k gets to fight.  Winner stays on until he loses.  Do not come to me with the money, give it to the winner.  You have to pay him to fight him.  If you win then someone else has to pay you.  This is a good way for you to earn some info.  If you are good then you continue to earn info.  I think the record so far is 7 or 8 victories in a row.  I do not remember who holds it.

However if a duel is going too long then we reserve the right to put a 2 minute time period on it and afterwards the audience choses who is the victor.  So don't go around doing nothing but healing yourself and expect to win the match.  Oh and if I see someone using Master Shadow you will be escorted and booted out of the dojo.  That is just a B***h A** manuever and does not belong in my tournaments.

For those of you who do not want to duel please come out and support your friends and watch the show.  There will always be sidebetting going on and I win more money from the side bets than the tournament.  Oh and one last thing.  TC tradition is everyone respects the dojo.  Everyone must be sitting to reduce the lag and you must take off your shoes, that includes the contestants.  "NO SHOES!!!!!!"

So if you are tired of getting ganked and fill that you can beat up anybody one on one over and over again then now is the time to show it.  Time to back up all that talk you have been doing on the battlefield and get revenge on some people who only fight with numbers.  I will also be fighting so here is your chance to put your foot in my mouth without the rest of TC promptly laying you in the dirt.  If you chose not to fight we better not here you running your mouth on the battlefield.

Finally we are going to have the long awaited 6v6 tournament.  Once we have enough teams that have signed up we will then set a date and time.

Here are some simple rules.  If you are not participating, but would like to watch then you must remain sitting and unflagged at all times.  If you are flagged and you are not a contestant you will be killed.  You must sign your team up on these boards by submitting a picture and name the members on your team.  Each clan is not limited to one team.  A clan can submit multiple teams.

You however cannot be a member of multiple teams, because there is a chance you would have to compete against each other.  Once we have all the teams we will set up the brackets.  Each battle will be a best out of 3 match and will take place inside the dojo.  If you exit through any doors your team is disqualified.

Be prepared to leave your clan and switch organizations if need be.  We may have Machine v Machine, Zion v Zion, or Merv v Merv.  This will be an anything goes fight.  The two teams will square off on opposite sides of the dojo flagged up.  You may not get any outside help, other that buffs before the fight.  It would be wise to have someone there to buff you up that is not apart of the competition, however once the fighting starts no outside interference for buffs or heals.  You can bring any loadout that you please.  If you have a doctor on your team then that doctor is allowed to rez a fallen comrade.  The winner is the team that has killed all of the opponents.

Nothing is set in stone yet and rules are subject to change.  Right now is the time to get your teams ready and prepared.  Take your screenshots and sign your teams up, if you are not scared.  It is time to Put up or shut up.

For the first time in over a year The Collective brings you our "Sexiest Redpill" Contest.  This event will be separated on two nights.  Friday night is for the men and Saturday night is for the women.  The Sexiest man and woman will be crowned on Saturday night.  The top three men will be selected on Friday night. 

The prize money will be split up between the male and female winners.  The prize money will consist of the entry fee pot as well as donations.  There will be at least a gauranteed $50 mill to each winner.

We do not have a radio host yet nor do we have our judges.  We will need one judge from each organization.  This event will be sponsored by The Collective and hosted by Sattakan's sister Cammara.

Each contestant will have a few minutes on stage to do your thing.  What is your thing you ask?  Let's put it this way, you will not just be judged by how you look, but by how you act.  Being Sexy is not just a look but the entire package.  So I am telling you to be creative.  You must stand out from the rest if you want to be remembered by the judges.  So whether you want to dance, strut, change clothes on stage, flirt with the judges, read a poem, or whatever go right ahead. 

STRUCTURE:

This thread will be used as a sign up list.  Make sure you sign up here with the name of your participant.  I want to have at least 20 males and 20 females.  Anything less might just be a waist of time.  Of course we will accept walk ins depending on the amount of time we have left and how many contestants have entered.

Males be sure that you will be available on both Friday and Saturday evening.  If you make it to the top 3 on Friday night, but are not there on Saturday night you forfeit.  All contestants are required to go up to the balcony and sign in with Cammara so she will know who is there and ready to go.  When your name is called you are to walk on stage.  After you do your thing the judges will dismiss you and you are to leave the stage but remain on the floor.  DO NOT GO BACK UP O THE BALCONY

Nobody will be allowed onstage until they have paid the entry fee.  You can email that entry fee to Cammara.  Sattakan will not be logged in on those nights so send it to Cammara.  Most importantly is not everyone reads these boards so be sure to spread the word to your clan mates and friends.  The last event we had was huge and LET and Lesig characters showed up.  You just never know who might be in the audience.  We even had Persephone grace us with her appearance before.

So let's please be respectful at this event.  Leave your faction drama hating at the door.  Come and cheer on your favorite person and nobody is allowed on stage except the contestants, and Cammara's assistant who has not been named yet.

So now is the time to show off all those new threads we have received since CR2.  Come show us what you have.

Well it has been several months since our last King of the Hill tournament.  It is time to bring this back and see just who out there has improved there skills.  This coming Saturday at 5:00pm Pacific time at the Sai Kung dojo.  Any build goes.

However if the devs finally bring this patch down this tourny will be canceled because we will be in the archive kicking everyone else out. 

Same rules as last time.  If you don't know show up and find out.  Side betting of course shall be allowed and incouraged.

Last night war was declared in the archives.  Machines and Zionites battled from the machine base, to the pipes to the Zion base and everywhere in between.  The Mervs were almost non existent, but the Zion Zerg was in full effect.  However with the Machines outnumbered 2 to 1 the Machines carried the night.  It was a hard fought battle.

Okay so this week I gave two of Stan Lee's show a chance.

Well I am just now getting home from a very long day and night of hanging out with Matrix and WB folks.  The day started off with us meeting at Chinese Mann Theater on Hollywood Blvd to see Superman.  That was a great movie by the way and alot of people showed up.  Afterwards we headed to the Elks Lodge in Burbank and prepared for the dinner and festivities.  We had alot of fun hanging out, eating, socializing, and playing XBOX.  Midnight and her friend a singer from the UK named Sammy entertained us with some songs.  If you had the opportunity to come and decided not to then you missed out big time.  Alot of prizes were given away.  I also won a gigantic Superman poster, but I am not too proud with the way I won it.  We shall keep that secret.  Anyways here are some pictures for you guys to see.

We are bringing back a blast from the past.  DJSandman of The Collective was the first to start the Duel Redpill tournaments that became famous and copied.  The Collective is bringing it back.  The first major duel tournament post CR2.  This is a new world now.  Anybody can win this tournament, not just the hardcore players from before CR2.  Everyone is on a level playing field again.

 

What are the rules you ask?  There are no rules with one exception.  Hackers are not allowed in this tournament.  There will be no logic bombs or devastation fields.  You must use your hands, feet, and guns.    This tournament is going to give you a chance to display your entire combat skills.  You will be allowed to use buffs, tactic boosters, clothes, and anything else at hand.  Also you may not use proxy's (Gothique).  This is a one on one battle.

 

We will not have whiners who want to put restrictions on duels.  If you want to put on a Tigers Masters Gi, then put it on.  If you want to use hybrid builds then do so.  If you want to roll out, then roll out.  If you want to be a sniper then be a sniper.  The person who comes prepared the best will be victorious.  You have a few weeks to go collect the best clothing, and figure out the best buffs for your build.  You will actually need a team to help you out.  You must supply your own buffer.

 

Why are we doing things this way and wy does it cost so much to enter you ask?  Well it seems that people in PvP have been complaining lately about getting ganked.  The most common phrase is this, "It took 5 on 1 to kill me.  I can beat any of you one on one, especially that noob Sattakan."  Well now is your chance to prove that you are indeed the best fighter in MegaCity.  Prove what you say in front of everybody with info actually on the line.  Nobody should use the lack of $5 mill as an excuse not to enter.  Everyone should have at least $5 mill and if you do not then you have a few weeks to raise the info.

 

How do I enter or signup you ask? You must signup on these boards.  You must get in game and take a picture of your RSI, and then come back here and post that pic in this thread.  This is the official signup.  This is not some after party throw together tournament.  This will be coordinated.  The winner of the tournament will be recognized by TC as the best fighter in MegaCity, and then we will host another tournament later on to see if someone else can claim that title.

 

This tournament will be moderated by myself and Sneaker, which means that we will not be in the tournament.  However we are adding a bonus to this fight.  The winner of the tournament will get the entire $100 mill at least.  However I will put an extra $20 mill info of my own money on the line if that champion can beat me.  I win I get nothing, I lose I give up another $20 mill. 

 

Now here is the twist.  Any fool can get lucky and win a duel.  So each match will be best out of 3.  Can you be consistent?

 

Not everybody reads these boards so please pass the word around and direct your friends back to this thread.  Remember a picture of your RSI is required.  For those who wait until the last minute and want to enter the tournament at Debir court the entry fee will be $7 mill.  It is time to PUT UP OR SHUT UP.  Anyone caught "Style stacking" or exploiting in anyway will be disqualified.  Let the fighting begin!
