The first time I went shooting. I saw the target that looks like an angry Mr. Lincoln assaulting/kidnapping a woman. I stop him with a .500 Magnum Revolver. I made everyone yell "NO MR. LINCOLN!" whenever they shoot said gun. Good times.

Any long-term method of making more $info than there was previously will inflate the economy eventually, that's inevitable.

Atem's probably on the money that it has to be more like around x3 base to remove serious inflation threat. At that rate, there's still incentive to try it solo (you can make x3 times the cash that you can missioning or tapping in the high level areas of DT), and even when you take a guard in with you, you still come out ahead, since you're both up for 150% payoff for time invested--if you're good at avoiding ganks.

That's probably what I'll end up going with, although if I do, then I'd put the say two "super taps" at x3, instead of just x2. That way, there's always the chance that if you go in there, you can make x9 for a while, but since it's limited to just a few people at a time (and possibly under heavy fire), that should put a pretty effective bottleneck on its damage to the overall economy.

One thing that I think is interesting about this FFA mining thing is that it actually benefits those who play in low-population hours more than those who play during US prime-time, since there's less competition for the area.

And there will be several more reasons to want to go in there besides the node tapping, at least...hmm...at least one of which should be along for update 59.

I'm not too worried about people making x10 for 3 more weeks (until the Anniversary Event update). It will create a bit of an economic "bubble," but that'll work its way out of the system after a little time goes by.

If you look at your ability trees, Dataminer has been relocated as a separate branch from awakened. Instead of being in the infiltrator branch

All you have to do is level up Tap node to lvl 5 which costs about 10k because the max level for it is lvl 5.

So in conclusion all of this panic is over 10k...

The truth is, the majority of the time KoN does not have the numbers. We have probably 10 max active members and 4 or 5 active pvp'ers, from a variety of time zones. So the likelyhood of more than 3 of us being online to PVP is extremely slim. We do not use Voicecomms at all which makes it hard to lead any kind of strategic attacks. Our only friend is the Health Meter and Map

I will personally pvp whenever I want, numbers do not bother me either way. I do not wait for my buddies to come online and then pvp. The challenge of killing someone surrounded by 10 of their allies is all part of the challenge. I know the same goes for the likes of Miggesch and Dupz.

We are not pawns of anybody, like I said we will pvp who we want, when we want.  If people want to watch us die and then clear up, or if they want to help us out... so what, I'll enjoy it either way.

What I am sick off is the "OH NOES ZERG !11!!". Which every org. is guilty of. I can say that I am one of the few people that will PVP for an entire day, therefore I have a better judgement of numbers than most. Yes zion does have its Zergs, but so does all the other orgs. I'm sure you cannot forget the late night zergs of MCDOE and TC. It is nothing to be ashamed of, it is part of the game and just the way that this pvp system works. I'm also extremely glad to see the mervs with numbers at certain times of the day recently because to be honest, they deserve it. A lot of Merovingians have stuck with the org through thick and thin, through many zergs and now it's their turn

Bottom line... Learn ways to fight and enjoy yourself when you are outnumbered. If your org is outnumbered, then team up with the other org and fight the larger numbers. Smack talk is the lowest of the low, if you are guilty of this then you may aswell get "I R NOOB" tatooed on your head. Good luck trying to get anyone from another org. to help you if you smack talked them the previous day. Respect your other orgs. It makes the whole experience more enjoyable if you can have some banter with your enemies.

If everyone could get to grips with that then the server would be a happier place
