I know that this isn't the appropriate forum for this type of question, but honestly who cares at this point.
I was wondering if I could get a clearer answer to this question (with regards to the following statement):
Dear MxO Subscriber,
We want to inform you that on June 1, 2009, Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) will suspend commercial services of THE MATRIX ONLINE (MxO). However, SOE will continue to operate the game service and players will still be able to play MxO through July 31, 2009.
As of June 1, 2009, SOE will no longer offer customer support or provide updates for MxO, and active subscribers with accounts in good standing will not be billed after that date. MxO subscribers who have prepaid subscription time that extends their subscription period past June 1, 2009 will receive a pro-rated refund for any such pre-paid excess subscription payments*. Such refunds are expected to be issued by October 1, 2009.
I know the after June 1, active subscribers will be able to play up until the end of the game on July 31st. However, I was wondering if this has any bearing on in-active subscribers after June 1? Will they have to to re-sub by June 1 to be able to play they game between then and the 31st of July? Or will they be able to re-activate their accounts after the June 1 marker?
The reason that I'm asking in particular is because I have a couple of friends (old MxO vets) who will most definitely want to be around during these last weeks, but they're in the process of moving currently and I'm uncertain if they would be able to re-subscribe before June 1. If they can't, can they still get in later? I just want to be 100% certain that they would be able to join up for the final weeks of fun. I appreciate any insight, thanks in advance!
Seems others have had this issue and gotten it fixed, so I figured I'd post here and see what could be done.
I recently resubscribed and found that I can't view/send PMs nor post on most of the forums. Can anyone please fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
I've been experiencing this issue on and off for some time now. It's not really a game-breaking issue, but can be a bit annoying nonetheless. At random times during my gaming sessions, I sometimes see textures 'bug out' on on random objects. The screens below illustrate some of these glitches:
Now I know the first course of action aside from a Full File scan (which I did), is a driver update. However, for some odd reason my computer doesn't like me updating drivers as everytime I do it fails to recognize my video card again (I have and nVidia 7900GS). It sees a VGA compatible device but despite attempted driver installations, it doesn't see it as the 7900 and thus the drivers don't quite work. Only way for me to get it working again is to do a system restore back to my old settings (where I have the 175.16 driver set installed). Having said all that, I was wondering if there might be any opinions on how I could rectify the texture glitch issues given my situation. Here's my DxDiag:
I recently downloaded it after checking out the article, and I must say I'm impressed thus far (especially considering that it just released). I'm digging the sleak look and self-contained tabs features. The whole browser has a very fluid feel to it, IMO, and has some great potential from what I've seen. I'm going to try it out in place of my Firefox for a while and see how it handles.

I've had more than a few instances where I had accidentally deleted an item from my inventory while doing the usual cleaning (as I'm sure others have had too). So I thought it might be a nifty idea to implement a "Lock" toggle function that can be used on selected inventory items. This feature would enable a toggled 'lock' on the selected item, disabling the Recycle and Sell options so as to prevent accidental recycling/selling of said item. I've seen and used this feature in other MMO's I've played, and it has more than once saved me from losing something that I didn't want to. I do realize that other preventative features are currently in place (E.G. the buy-back option on vendors and the confirmation window when recycling), when cleaning out inventory in a rush, sometimes we might not see exactly what it is we are selling/recycling. Not sure how easy this would be to implement, but I figured I'd suggest it in any case.
I've recently re-activated another account I used in the past for MxO and decided to use it for additional character slots/inventory transfers/etc. To do some of the things that I planned on doing with it, I knew I'd need to run 2 clients simultaneously using the -clone parameter. Now obviously this isn't a 'recommended' setting as it were, but I knew others that did it without much fault, and thought I should be fine with my current system.
So I started the 2 clients, everything went find for a while until I crashed straight into a BSOD. Having been running several programs at the time alongside the 2 MxO clients, I thought that might be the cause, so I shrugged it off and restarted. Fast forward a couple days to today when I decided to run 2 clients again for some transfers and such. Same scenerio happened yet again: everything was fine for a bit, then at some random point in time, I crashed to BSOD again. I took note of the error this time and decided to get my information together to post here in hopes that the great techical minds of these forums could offer some assistance. Granted, I know running 2 clients isn't a recommended setting, but I know it's certainly possible to do and I would like to know if there's any way that I can fix whatever's causing these errors so that I may be able to use the option again. In advance, thank you for any and all help in this situation.

Did this using Photoshop and my lack of skill therein
It's simple and fairly clean (as intended). Just messed around with some layering, coloring, and other junk to help me get the feel of what I could use Photoshop's tools for.
Also made a very simple wallpaper for myself featuring the image at the original higher resolution (regrettably brought to you in JPEG due to size limitations on my image hoster :robotmad: )
Any comments, constructive criticisms, advice, etc. appreciated. :robotvery-happy:
