An unbelievable feet has been reached by at least two factions in the month of November.  The Furious Angels along with The Collective will celebrate our fifth anniversary.  I am still shocked about it.

As usual we will be organizing events to celebrate this achievement which of course includes our party.  We will also have many other functions as well to be announced at a later date.  We invite the entire community from all servers to come and celebrate with us.

Despite having deLeon on ignore because he just cannot keep his mouth shut I have to give him and Crowlos props for their skills in PvP.  I have completely changed up my tactics now to support with doctor and proxy for my team.  As an MKT it is fun pvping against them, but as a doctor, hacker or proxy they are a thorn in my side.  It does not matter if they are outnumbered by 5 or 15 they can still take me out and get away.  They pvp with or without numbers.  I personally believe they are better fighting against the zerg than with the zerg actually.

It takes no genius to figure out that if you take the doctor out then the rest of the team is vulnerable.  I have pretty much perfected how to avoid being killed while keeping my team alive, but these two guys are always on my *CENSORED*.  Also Delicho he does a good job when he isn't crying about something.

Selene and The Black take Hollywood by Storm (Part One)

Well the night started out a bit slow. We arrived and proceeded to head the area we were told to go. Once we were there no one seemed to know where we were suppose to be. So we stood around for a few minutes till a couple other Comic Con winners arrived.


After a few minutes a official came to inform us we were to walk the Red or in this case Black carpet. We took the walk and saw what it is like for the stars when they take this very walk. The first thing we noticed was the assault of photographers. Wow if you weren't blind you would be by the sheer number of lights and flashbulbs. The next thing you notice is the fanstands with fans lined up hoping to catch a glimpse of their favorite star.




We did a couple interviews and took some pictures then headed down the carpet to the event. We made our way to the VIP section though we didn't officially have a badge. We didn't know we were suppose to get one. Noone seemed to care though.

We headed up the stairs to the VIP lounge where there was a overflow of free food and drinks. Wee score!! We met a girl named Valerie who just loved Black Cat and let us into the lounge


Though I didn't touch any of the liquids I mean have you seen my outfit?? You cannot just go to the restroom its harder then hell getting in or out of the costume. So drinking would make me have to go so...


Black Cat was noticed right away by some of her fans and took a couple pictures for the paparazzi There inside we took a breather from walking around and watched as a few celebrity's arrived to the event. Tobey Magurire and Jennifer Love Hewitt. We met a cool couple named Todd and Belinda. We chatted a few minutes then decided to head back down to the area where the black carpet guest emerge after doing their interviews etc. Best decision we ever did. There we met up with the two new friends we made earlier in the day from Comic Con. Sue and Bobby, Turned out Bobby was a great talent rangler.

After a few short minutes stars began walking by one by one. First one we saw was Ozzy Osbourne that was surreal, then following him was Jesse James (Sandra Bullocks Husband). Though he doesn't like media attention he stopped and took a picture with me and chatted a few minutes about Sandra. That was fun. As I was talking to him Paris Hilton approached the area. She was hounded by fans and took pictures with some of them. I was in the procees of taking a picture but her young fans were too much for me.

A lot of other stars came but none I really wanted a picture with until I saw Chriss Angel. That guy is amazing. He came to the area and chatted with a couple fans but no pictures. He saw my outfit and was very receptive to take a picture with me, Turns out he's a HUGE underworld fan. Yeah for me. Nice guy.


The cast of heros came thorough and both myself and heather nabbed pics with Skylar and the new cast member Maya. She was in Xmen 3, you know the one who kicks Halle Berry's *CENSORED*. She was awesome had a great time talking with her.

Some of the cast of the original Star Trek came through and Heather made a beeline for Nichelle Nicols. They know each other and Heather was excited to once again see her friend. I took a couple pics to capture the moment. I grabbed Sulo who is now on Heros as well, very friendly chap.

Another favorite of ours has to be Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Anthony Steward Head. (Giles) He was so personable and friendly. We chatted about his new movie with Paris Hilton. A horror/musical. We got some great shots with him. He also told us that there is a Buffy two hour movie in the works. Not sure if he meant TV or Film. I can't wait.

As the time winded down and the show was about to start in 8 minutes most of the celebs were already inside. As Heather and I were debating whether to stay or go inside one of my favorite TV stars came into the area. Most guys will drool at this girl. Trisha Helfer from BattleStar Galactica. You know the hot tall, sexy blond named 6 Cylon. She was in a rush but did stop for me and I got a fantastic pic. Very nice girl. Eat your heart out boys.




So you would think that was all right?? Well not quite. There was a ton of fans still outside watching the carpet, we were about to head in when we spotted Robert Rodriguez and Quintet Tarantio. They were surrounded by their handlers and were in a rush. We asked for pictures but their people kept rushing them by. Black Cat pouted a bit and Robert waved us forward as they kept walking. We ran over to the amazement of myself and all the disappointed fans who couldn't get pictures. They stopped even though the talent handlers kept saying we don't have time. We to make a long story short we were the ONLY ones who got shots with them. We got a picture with myself and Heather and Robert and Quintent! One of my favorite moments!! Needless to say it's my new screensaver J

2007 Scream Awards Part Two



As Black Cat and I went into the Greek Theater we weren't sure where we were suppose to go. We approached a employee who took our tickets and said they were junk tickets because the stage lighting set up was in the way. She then said follow me and would you believe she put us into the VIP section in the FRONT ROW??? Yes I couldn't believe it either. I don't think Heather could either. Man our night was just getting better and better.


As we walked down the aisle to our seats we noticed so many stars in our section some were in the rows behind US?? The cast of hero's, and Jennifer Love Hewitt was in hands reach of us. We actually chatted with them during commercial breaks. Hayden Panetteria sat right behind me and we both were grossed out during one of the award category. Best Death Scene or something.. Yucky..


The show started with a awesome tribute to Harrison Ford! Shia Labouf from Transformers gave the award. That was sweet to see Harrison again. He looked amazing.

Other cool awards and winners were Jessica Alba and Jessica Biel for best Screen Siren and Superhero. They looked fantastic as always.

A bunch more awards were given out but I don't think any drama came close to the Paris Hilton blunder.

When she came out with the director and star of the movie she's doing people booed a bit. But whenever she went to speak the boos got louder and louder. Man she is a hated woman. I sort of felt bad for her but I suppose she brought it on herself.


As the night progressed some of the seat fillers in the section got more and more drunk and the smell was a bit stinky lol. Some guys can really drink! Towards the end of the show I was so excited to see Amy Lee from Evanescence. She presented a award and stood in front of us for a few minutes. She was very chatty. Looked great too!


We had the best seats in the house. We saw amazing live performances by Ozzy Osbourne, Avenged Sevenfold , and a all star tribute to Alice Cooper featuring Rob Zombie, and Slash. That was a kick *CENSORED* performance.

At the end we were invited to Quintet Tarentino Hosted After Party at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Black Cat was really tired but we went for a hour or so anyway just to see who was there. Not bad for a black cat and a dead vampire.

An interesting debate has been going on back and forth for the past week over the status of awakenings.  The Architect said no more Awakenings are to be aloud.  Arguments have been flying all over the place as to what this means.  The machines are not allowing any more bluepills to be pulled from the Matrix?  Are machinists allowed to do the Awakenings?  Wouldn't this harm the machines if they keep the 1% plugged in?  What will happen to the 1% that rejects the system and nobody is there to wake them up?

I have thought about this and came up with a solution.  Simple logic and deduction will give you the answer.  Let's deal with the facts and what was literally said.  The Truce is over and no more Awakenings are to be allowed.  Well one perk of the Truce is that the Architect allowed anyone who wanted to be freed to be freed.  Zionites were allowed to operate freely and free anyone who rejected the system.

Now with the truce over Zion is no longer permitted that freedom.  However that does not stop the 1% from rejecting the system.  Now this is the most important part.  Just because a human starts to reject or question the system does not mean that they self-substantiate.  The vast majority of bluepills require redpill assistance to awaken.  Only 1% become aware that something is not right, not that they all actually wake up.  This is very important to understand because the machines can survive if they do not wake up.  Overtime the sheer number of these people would overwhelm the system, or the human dies.  This 1% being removed from the system was only another means of control to facilitate the cycle of the "ONE."

Now with the truce over that only means a return to the way things were prior to the Truce.  Zionites were secretly invading the Matrix and illegaly removing blue-pills.  It is best to assume that Zionites will continue to operate in that same function.

Here is where this creates a problem for us machinists.  We have not been given a clear description of what our goals are as far as from machine leadership.  Each faction has our own goals and The Collective certainly has an agenda.  However we pledge to protect all life especially blue pill life.  We cannot stand aside and watch blue pills who become aware die because we are effecient in removing any Zionites who attempt to awaken them and remove them from the system.  This is sort of a catch-22.  Before there were machinists the Agents were the primary protectors of the system, yet they still allowed for some blue pills to awaken and never completely shut off the flow of awakenings.  If there was ever a point I would question and need clarity on from the machines then this is the point.  We do not have enough information to go on.

So for now we will continue to do our job and view any Zionites running loose in the system unauthorized as a threat to the system.  We are not presented with a crisis at this time.

I have been hearing reports that new people cannot register for the game now?  Is this true or just some kind of technical error?

This is not a good sign.

((The fact that you guys still do not understand how building a bunker full of defensive weapons can be viewed as a threat is disturbing.  I really hope that those arguing this point only believe this as an in character thing.  For those of you who actually pay attention in the world this very issue itself has the possiblity to leading to WWIII.  Turn on the news sometime and take a look at Iran and their nuclear issue and America and the missile defense shield and Russias response.  Russia responded by releasing the nuclear fuel to Iran which they were holding off from doing as a detterent to America))

It is all about detterents and security everyone.  It seems that you all are either naive or just confused with why the machines are upset.  Let me try to explain it for you.  The machines indeed could destroy Zion whenever they wanted to.  In fact Zion should be destroyed if Neo did not interfere.  The truce ended with the machines holding a gun to the head of the Zionites.  The machines were definitely threatened as well by the Program Smith, but Zion did not control that program and Zion was not on the verge of wiping out the machines.

If you go to your Zion archives and look at human history you will find that just 8 years before the current Matrix date of 1999 the Nation of Iraq was defeated by the United Nations mainly America.  Iraq's leaders brokered a truce with the rest of the world.  They were allowed to keep their leader and way of life.  They were not allowed to construct more weapons which would endanger the region.  They had a gun to their head at the time and the trigger was not pulled.  During this time of Peace or truce Iraq secretly built more weapons, buikt more palaces, scammed the oil for food program, and was taking pop shots at American forces in the no fly zones.  Iraq broke many resolutions which automatically causes a resumption of hostilities.  And it did ending with Iraq being totally destroyed.

I wish us humans would learn from history and not repeat our mistakes because this is oddly similar to what is happening today.  The truce ended with a gun pointed to Zions head.  Sentinels halted the attack and stayed on stand by outside the walls of Zion, just like the American forces did to Iraq.  Zion just like Iraq used that period of peace to rebuild its arsenal for "Defensive measures."  Now why would building a defensive city be a threat to the machines you ask?

The fact that redpills now know that they are 100% protected they have the freedom to do whatever they wish.  Whether that be stay with the truce, end the truce, attack the machines, attack the Matrix, attempt to go beyond waking 1% of the bluepills, etc...  There will be no consequences of their actions.  And since we know  Zions past and that they want to be on equal footing with the machines it is only logical that the machines would fear that mostly.  The last time humanity was on an equal footing with the machines they tried to commit genocide to the machines.  If you were a machine you would never and I mean ever allow for that to happen again.  Had Humans won the original war we would never ever allow the machines to be in a position where they can again launch an attack on us.  They cannot risk sitting there and hoping that humanity will go against its nature to be dominant.

Now this is what I don't understand  We have heard from Zionites and fake machinists condone Zion building a secret base for self defense.  If I was a Zionite I would be the loudest voice screaming about Zions right to self defense.  I would be on the front line sticking a middle finger to the machinists.  I would be like Locke and admit that we have been destroyed 6 times by the machines.  There is no way in hell we will let ourselves stay in a position where we can be destroyed again.  I would admit that hell yeah we built up a new city.  We believe that humans are slaves and that it is our duty as humans to free ourselves from bondage from the machine oppressors.  It is our duty to take back what is rightfully and enheritantly ours.  I would say we will no longer cower at the feet of the machines and beg them for our lives.  Our lives our in our hands not the hands of the machines and we will fight to the very last man, woman, and child for freedom.  I would argue that humans are not to be slaves and would rather be dead.  I would then slap all the other Zionites who are coming out here and playing this game of we just wanted to expand our city.  I would tell them not to be afraid to tell the truth just like Niobe and Rylet.  I would tell them to prepare for war and invite all of the humans from all the organizations who believe as we do that Machines are not our masters to come down and stand with us.  I would say that today is a day where we can actually defend ourselves from the machines.  Today we are able to do what we have never done in the past and that is survive.  I would say that humanity is not at threat to be wiped out because as long as machines need humans to survive they will maintain the Matrix.  I would argue that we fight for our survival, our autonomy, and our freedom.  I would be a better leader and Zionite than any of the ones arguing about this case right now.

After all that I would realize that we will no longer be able to enter the Matrix safely.  I would realize that just like in the past when there were men better than me leading a force 100Xs more affective than mine that I would lose.  I would realize that we just caused the deaths of everyone in Zion.  I would acknowledge that therr are only two options of what will occur.  Either we will be wiped out down here because the machines would eventually find away around our defenses, or they will bury us down here and we live out our days in freedom in new Zion never to see the surface, never to see the Matrix, and never to secure freedom for the 99% of humanity.  I would then still be satisfied because at least I am free.

If you are a Zionite at least have the balls to say that.  Stop dancing around the issue and trying to justify this as being the machines fault.  Admit you had an agenda and that agenda is coming to fruition after two years.  And if you don't know that this is a break of the truce then please go ask somebody or shut up.  Even Zion leadership new it would end the truce which is why they kept it a secret.  I guess since they were smart enough to know that, then that is why they are the leadership and left all you poor people out of the loop. 

I have just shown you that I do understand better than most of you the Zion side of things.  I am not one dimensional in thinking, but I am here to tell you that there is an alternative.  There is a way out for all of us.  The first step is to stop thinking about Zion and Zion alone.  Think about all sentient beings.  Think about saving everyone.  Think as Neo thought.  He did not just save Zion he saved everybody.  Join those of us who are and have been trully working for this and not just buying time as Niobe has said.  Join those Zionites, Merovingians, and machinists who believe as the Oracle said, "The only way to get there is together."  I am Captain Sattakan and I fight for humanity.

The movies told the story of the Matrix from the humans perspective.  We did not learn about the true story behind the Oracle and Exiles until much later.  Humans story is of finding the "One" and ending the war against the machines.  A story that has replayed at least 6 times over and over.

However there is another story that is even more dramatic that the movies barely touched upon.  That is the story of the exiles.  Had I not been a machinist I surely would have been a Merv, and not because of the Merv.  While the humans make all our decisions mostly based on emotions and feelings the machines are the complete opposite.  They are cold, boring, but most importantly logical and efficient.  The one thing that the machines and humans had in common was the ability to choose and the will to survive as Bi66er displayed.

The machines in an effort to make the Matrix less efficient and more real for humans created a program called the Oracle.  It was her job to understand humans, to understand emotions, to create balance in the scenario by adding a bit of chaos.  She was a guide to the humans who never trully understood just what she was. 

Neo was the first to discover that not only is the Oracle not human, but possibly not on the side of humans.  If that is the case then just whose side is she on?

I believe that The Oracle is not on the side of the humans at all.  However she needs humanity in order to save her own kind.  We must never forget that the Oracle is a machine, a program.  She does not want to help humans destroy the machines.  Her goals are obvious because she said so herself.  "The only way to get there is together."

Let's turn our attention to the exiles.  An evolution of sorts was taking place amongst the Machines.  Individual programs were starting to think independently from the hive mentality.  Once their purpose was used they were to return to the source for deletion.  Programs were choosing not to be deleted and to create a new purpose.  In the same fashion that Bi66er rebelled against his human master programs were rebelling against the machines.  They exhibited the first two traits that are human in nature.  That is first choice and second the instinct to survive independently for self preservation.

In the past these exiles did not really pose much of a threat to the machines.  They would hide out in the Matrix.  The majority of them were self indulging in nature.  The Merovingian for example was at the top of the food chain for exiles.  His world involved all of the excesses of humanity.  The lustful desires, and glutonous appetites that the Bible speaks against.  Power, sex, and money was the world of these exiles.  The humans who join the Merovingian code do so to also enjoy this lifestyle.  They care not for the war or for humanity.  Their only selfless desire is to keep the matrix running.  The fact that it keeps the machine city powered with energy or that it keeps humanity alive is of an added bonus.

The movies and storyline focus on these exiles and only gives a glimpse as to the possibility of exiles with other motives.  Sati, RamaKandra, Seraph, etc.... are exiles who are exhibiting other human emotions.  Neo was the first human to learn of these facts, or "Nobody told him."  It is my belief that the Oracle understood that a change was taking place amongst the machines.  A change that they cannot avoid and if left unchecked would threaten the entire system and destroy both humans and machines alike.

A threat of this nature culminated in the emergence of the new Agent Smith.  The fact that programs are starting to exhibit the same emotions as humans create would logically lead one to assume that the machines would inevitably end up with the same fate as humans.  This is what The Oracle wanted to avoid.  Eventually these exiles will rebel against the machines and if successful wipe out everything.  No matter how many exiles were deleted more would take there place.  It was inevitable.  The best way to cope with change is to help create it.  The Oracle did her job to not only help to create this change but to force its hand.  She allowed the Smith to take her over.  She understood the choice that she was making.

It is unfortunate that the story does not go into more depth about the exiles and their importance to the future.  This is a three sided story not two-sided.  Unfortunately you would be hard pressed to run into any redpill Mervs who have even considered this scenario.  You would be hard pressed to find anyone who questions the Oracle or her motives.  The Oracle is not human, she is not looking after just humanity's interest, and she left the most important quote in the entire series which all would be wise to follow.

THE ONLY WAY TO GET THERE IS TOGETHER!!

It is eerily quiet in The Collectives headquarters.  No new reports have come in on the comm line.  No disturbances reported inside The Matrix.  Captain Sattakan sits in his office looking for something to do to keep busy.  Keeping busy is the only way to make the pain stop.  It is the only way to keep his mind from remembering the past.

Captain Sugaree walks into the office and notices Satta fidgeting with paperwork.  "Satta you really should get some rest," encouraged Sugaree.  Rest was the last thing that Sattakan wanted to do.  He can never take his mind off of that day.  He can never forget his Bluepill friends.  "Satta!" Snapped Sugaree.  "Please my dear come with me and rest.  You are obsessed.  You cannot take on the chores of the world on your shoulders."  Sugaree has seen Sattakan like this before.  He was holding onto something that he would not share.

Sugaree walked over to Sattakan and grabbed his hands.  "Baby share that pain with me.  You are not alone.  Even your sister worries about you," whispered Sugaree.  "My sister?"  "My sister does not even believe in our cause.  She is one of them.  If she were not my sister I would kick her out of here," growled Sattakan.  Sugaree sighed, "Cammy loves you and would never betray you or us.  You must let it go," pleaded Sugaree.

Sattakan got up from the desk and walked away from Sugaree.  He couldn't let it go.  He will never forget.  He lost too many people that he cared about because of Zionite terrorists, because of Morpheus, because of Neo.  "Sugaree I do not know if I can do this anymore.  I am honoring a man who is a murderer.  How can I let that go?" Asked Sattakan.  "Satta please tell me what are you talking about?  What did Morpheus do to you?"  Satta looked at Sugaree, "Not Morpheus, but Neo."

Sattakan slumped to the floor and put his face in his hands.  Sugaree walked over and locked the door.  Nobody needed to see Satta in this condition.  She walked over to Satta and straddled him wrapping her arms around his head and resting his head under her chin.  "Please Satta tell me what troubles you?"  Satta was quiet for a few minutes and just listened to the heart beat of Sugaree.  It was steady and soothing. 

"You knew my occupation.  I was a Government officer, an assassin.  I spent my entire life trying to find the people who killed my Father and kidnapped my sister.  An agent showed me proof that my sister was still alive.  It was a photo of a Tokyo district of Morpheus.  In the background one of his companions was Cammy.  I could not believe it.  My sister was walking with the leader of the Zionite terrorists.  The people who killed our Father.

I do have a serious question to ask FH.  I have known FH since before most of it's members were even in FH.  Your creed has always been to follow the ways of Morpheus.

Morphues is known and expressed more concern over vengeance against the machine, sacrificing millions of bluepills, and getting Neo's body back over everything else.  This is all fact and written record.  The Machinists have since day one expressed their desire to save all of mankind, not just one group.

With all this talk of Morpheus, etc.. being alive will FH fall in line right behind Morpheus as before?  If the answer is yes then forget about IP Conflict or EPN, FH will become the most dangerous threat to the lives of bluepills and stability of the Matrix.

The issue of the Machines and Gray is not my concern or focus.  I am not speaking on behalf of the Machines.  I am speaking on the values of The Collective and what we stand by.  Since nobody can answer my question straightforward let me re-phrase the question.

This is for all you past Morpheus followers.  You all know by now what Morpheus did and was trying to do.  You all know what he told the Oracle.  Do you denounce what Morpheus did and was trying to do?  Will you continue to follow him if he continues on that path?

The Collective brings you the first ever RSI Teal Pill Party.  We invite everyone in MegaCity to come on down and show off your new looks.  This will also be a coding party so if you need clothes or would like to donate clothes to lowbies then come on down. 

At our last Machinist meeting Bloodwork brought to our attention the need for us veterans to get off our high horses and help the newbies who come to the game.  By helping new players out then that will help out the game as a whole.  So we are having this party at the closest club to the newbie hardline.

This is also a chance for you clans to be seen by all the lowbies and to recruit.  So grab a lowbie, give them some clothes, tell them your philosophy, and introduce them to people.  For one night only we are leaving our guns in the door to celebrate looking good!  All your popular people will be in attendance.  We will have a naked Mave, a cowboy Bloodwork, a suave Garutachi, a sexy Sugaree, bionic legs Illyria, and many more.

This is the first of several upcoming events.  Scheduled in March is our "Sexy Redpill" contest as promised after the teal pills were released.  All of you have been running around the city collecting all your pills to change your look.  This party is a climax for that and the "Sexy Redpill" contest will give you an opportunity to show off your new look against everyone else.  Over $200 mill in prize money has already been raised for the "Sexy Redpill" contest, and we still have several weeks to go.  Ladies and Gentleman that will be a huge contest.  I do not want to spill the beans but it will not be a normal best dressed style contest, and I will just leave it at that for now.

So come on down, bring all your pills that you can trade and a list of pills that you need.  Put on your coding build, grab a drink, dance, and have fun.

For the first time ever we will host a "King of the Hill" Hacker only style tournament.  If you feel that you are a decent enough hacker then go get your stat hack and be prepaired to show your skills.  Now listen to the rules because this is a little tricky.

Everything in the hacker tree is open execpt self heals.  No health pills, TB's, or anti pills are allowed.  Again you can use every other ability available.  That means that you can buff yourself and you can use free fire.  This will be interesting to see what kind of builds people bring to the table.  You may not create a hybrid hacker/gunman build or hacker/ma build.  This is only for the hacker tree.  Some of you may equip some buffs like area sweep or delete upgrades.  Some may use fast healing and effeciency.  Others may use all offensive abilities.  You decide what you want to do.

It has been well over a year since we had our last Sexy Redpill contest.  Back when the Sirens were running wild in MegaCity.  There has not been another contest since CR2.  I tried to organize one last summer only to have a no show from the community.

Soon people will have the ability to change their RSI's looks.  So my question to the community is would you like for us to put on another Sexy redpill contest so you can show off your new looks?  We will not go through the trouble of setting this up again if there is not an interest in it.

Once again we are having another "King of the Hill" tournament.  Same basic rules apply.  No health pills, nti's or TB's.  Mobius code is allowed. We wil have single elimination duels.  Depending on the size of the turnout and the number of participants we will jus thave 1 duel at a time.  If it is crowded then we will have two just like last Saturday.

Clothes will remain on this time.  It seems that we have found away to prevent the clothing stack.  Although I am still a little fuzzy on how to do it and how it may hinder the duels, but I will get clarification soon.  Please spread the word to those who do not read the boards and just show up to fight.  YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO USE A STAT HACK BEFORE YOUR VERY FIRST FIGHT IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY!!!

I hate to have to be bothered with all this crap.  All I want to do is just say fight and let you go at it, however experience has told us that we must take every precaution to prevent cheating so that the results are as pure as can be.  There will be no favoritism in my tournaments.  Your skill will do all the talking whether I personally like you or not.

For the third week in a row we bring you another "King of the Hill" tourny.  With each passing tourny we make changes to make these more fun and eventful.  With the amount of participants that we have been getting we have encountered the problem of time.  It is taking too long for a person to actually fight again if they lose.  The incentive is to win so that you never have to leave the mat, however it is not fun if you lose and it takes another hour before you can fight again.

So this week will be something different.  This will be solo this time and not team.  This will be MA only and Gunman only.  Yes we will have two fights going on at the same time.  You will be able to chose if you want to fight the MA champion or the gunman champion.  This will be signup so you must let me know if you want to fight so I can put you in the rotation.  This should definitely help things go by faster. 

If you are in the gunman bracket and lost you are free to run to the hardline and change your load out and enter the MA side and vice versa.  However there is one twist.  Because of all you cheating, sploiting bastards out there with that stupid clothing stack the only clothing allowed are pants.  That's right no shirts, no gloves, no glasses, no hats, no coats, and no shoes.  You will also be asked to be killed before the duel because some of you like to go outside get buffed up or pop a TB and then come back inside.  Also no TBs, Health pills, or anti's are allowed.  Mobius code is fine to use as well as Prison Mastery Device and that other fly thing.

This has never been done before so we will see how it goes and make adjustments where necessary.

Doomninja and Rstnpce have the most victories so far so I will allow them to be the first participants.  Either one or the other can start off as MA or Gunman, or they can choose to face each other if they choose the same tree.

Well with the success of the last "King of the Hill" team elimination style we will be doing this again.  Only this time instead of a team of 4 we will have teams of 3.

There were alot of people who wanted to fight last time but didn't have a full team so we will make this a little more convenient for everyone.  You only need yourself, 2 partners and $2 million to participate. 

Let's go over the rules again for those who are still confused.  This is strictly an MA tourny this time.  Yes, I am changing it up to see who can adapt.  If you do not have an MA loadout then you have 1 week to do your stat hack and get your MA build set.

There will be no buffs, no pills, no anti's, and no Tigers Gi.  You are allowed to use Mobius code.  Rstnpce team won the last tournament so he gets to choose who his two partners will be to start the tournament.  The first challenging team will pay Rst $2 mill to fight his team.  Winner stays on the mat and loser move to the end of the line if they would like to fight again.  The next challenger pays the winner $2 mill again.

The challengers choose who their first fighter will be and then the champions chose who shall fight him.  The fights start only after payment has been made.  It amazes me how the champions begin fighting and forget to get paid.  The whole point of this is for you to stay winning and make money off of your wins. 

It is now time for people to put their money where their mouths are.  Rst is the champion so who will knock his team off the throne?  Once again this is MA only.  Spread the word to those who do not view these boards.  You have a week to practice and hoan your skills.  Good luck soldiers.  It is time for you to "Put up, or Shut up!"

When: 1/27/07

Where: Sai Kung Dojo

Style: MA/Gunman only

Time: 4:00pm 

After several months hiatus we shall present this years first King of the Ring Tourny.  Only this time this will be a little different.  This will be team based.  I want to have teams of 4 enter and if that is too high then teams of 3 at least.

How does this work?  Well each team will have 1 representative step on the mat to face off.  The loser is eliminated and the winner is still in the match.  The next 2 people will square off and so on and so on.  The team that has no more members left loses.

Then the next team can sstep up and challenge the winners.  The challengers must pay $400k or $300k depending on if it is 3 or 4 members.  It is possible for a team to lose 3 members and still win the match.

You can mix your teams up however you like.  You do not have to be in the same org to be on the same team.  You can have Mervs, Zion, or machines on the same team if you like.

The rules are the same as the normal "King of the Ring."  No buffs, no pills, no heals.  Only thing allowed is Mobius code.  This is a MA/Gunman only style tourny with winners staying on the mat.  Side betting is incouraged. 

It is not necessary but if you already know that you have a interest in competing then please sign your name right here.

More tournaments like these are on the way.  In fact these tournaments are leading up to the big "Grandaddy of them all!"  The "No Surrender!" tournament where the best dueler in Megacity shall be crowned.  The last one was held over a year ago in CR1 and the winner was Remagdiv.  That will be an invitation only tournament and all these smaller ones are just to display who are the top tier fighters who deserve to be invited.  It is not just my tournaments that we are watching but all the tournaments that others put on as well, whether it is 3v3 or 6v6.

It has been a long time since this type of discussion has taken place.  Actually the last time I remember a major discussion about this was before beta was open.  It is time for us to clear up all the misconceptions about just who we are and whose side we stand for.

Just like in Zion the machinist organization has many different philosophies surrounded by a common goal.  If you read the archives you would learn about Christianity and how it had splintered into many different denominations all with the same underlying theme of Jesus Christ is their Saviour and Messiah.  The difference between them was how they practiced their religion and minute details split the Church.

Let's take "The Collective" for example.  We have 9 Captains all with 9 different philosophies on how to best go about being a machinist.  Together combined we are "The Collective" because we have the same goal and each of our perspectives makes us stronger as a whole.

First things first is contrary to the mystique we are not machines.  We do not have bionic implants or micro-chips for brains.  We are humans.  I am a machinist because I want to not only just save humanity, but also correct the errors in the past to make sure history does not repeat itself.  We cannot justify the genocide of a race under any circumstances.  Zion for the last 500 years has attempted and failed to either make peace, or achieve freedom for humanity.  For the last 500 years Zionites have reminded the Machines of why they needed to control them in the first place. 

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.  It is time for a new approach, a new vision.  Morpheus even stated that even if it means the lives of "millions" he would bring down the Matrix.  Zionites from our perspective value the lives of 250,000 people over the lives of billions connected to the Matrix.  That is completely unacceptable.  And as long as people like him are running around as redpills, all the blue pills lives are in danger.  I do not have time to go into my awakening.  I however value and appreciate the lives of the Bluepills.  My goal is to live together with the machines as equals, not one group dominant over the other.  Eventually we must clear the sky that we damaged no matter how long it takes even if it is not in my lifetime.  The archives speaks of a Martin Luther King Jr.  He said, "I would still plant my apple seed whose shade I shall never sit under."  If you do not understand that quote then please stop reading.

So as a human I have humanities best interests in heart not the Machines best interest.  The question is, "If the truce were broken whose side would you stand on?"  This is an easy answer.

I would stand on the side of humanity.  I would not pick up a gun and go defend Zion.  The lives of billions outweigh the lives of 250,000.  I would become an exile some way in the Matrix to protect the Blue pills.  I would not help the machines destroy Zion either.  I am 99% sure that if the truce were to break it would be at the hands of Zion and not the Machines.  Machines do not have emotion, therefore do not harbor treasonous and betraying thoughts.  They are logical.  They do what they say they are going to do.  They have no reason to break the truce.  They have the power to destroy Zion anytime they want to.  Zion still exists because 1 man made a different choice and the Machines are honoring it even if they do not desire to do so.  Zion is like that mosquito that just will not leave your arm alone.  If that mosquito keeps buzzing around and biting, eventually it will get squashed.

Now that is my opinion and my beliefs.  I do not speak for all machinists.  There are those that would return to Zion.  There are those that would really like to destroy Zion and just concentrate on the billions of humans and machines and not be bothered with the terrorists.  Yes we think Zionites are terrorists.  Especially me for what they did to my father.  That is another story.

Anyways I invite other machinists to answer that question.  What would you do if the truce breaks down?

Greatings Zion.  This past week the machinist of Recursion have agreed that it is time we sit down with our Zionite brothers and have an open discussion.  Many changes have been occuring in Megacity that threaten the status quo.  Despite our differences we both strive to maintain the truce that Neo fought and sacrificed for.  However there are members amongst us who wish to see this truce end.  We will be laying down our arms for this moment and extend the hand of friendship and discussion.

This meeting is designed to go over our differences and hopefully come to a common goal that we can pursue.  The machines have asked for access to the Zion mainframe.  Different liasons have been kidnapped.  This amongst other things will be discussed.  This is an open meeting for all of Zionites and machinits to come together however we do ask a few things.

• Although this is an open meeting we ask that only 1 or 2 representatives of your clan speak on your clans behalf

We do not need immature people who do nothing but spam the area and conversation to be given the floor to speak.  This is a meeting for mature adults.  So we are putting it on notice for all clans to respect the meeting and control your members.  If anyone is being disruptive to the meeting we will ask all willing participants to place that person on ignore so that we can continue our meeting uninterrupted.

• To reduce lag we ask that all participants remain seated at all times

On November 26th The Collective will be celebrating 3 years of involvement with The Matrix Online.  A person named Nimbus had a crazy idea to start a machine clan called The Collective.  She put out an invitation for Captains and two prominent people stepped forward in Seraosha and Sneaker.

We have a long and storied history in this game.  We began building ourselves before there was even beta.  Our clan has gone through many different face lifts that culminated into who we are today.  We built ourselves to be a family and a friendly place where people can come together and game together.  There were many obstacles put in place including the desertion of our founder and attempts to break us apart during the WoW fiasco, but we survived.  Last year we celebrated in grand fashion our two year anniversary and we plan on doing so again this year.

We are inviting the entire MegaCity on all instances to come out and celebrate MxO's oldest faction.  Our influence and friends are not limited to Recursion, so all are invited.  Details can be found here!

The Collective has just done something that is very rare for us.  We have promoted two brand new Captains and Council members to be added to our leadership.  This is a big deal for us because we take this very serious.  We have a strict recruitment policy and we never add on new ships or captains at will.  The last person promoted to Captain and Councilmember of The Collective was Illyria over a year ago.  With the recent growth and success of our clan we have decided to reward two individuals who have served The Collective with distinction.

The first person promoted was Calliente.  Calliente is a veteran of the MxO community and known by most.  He has been with The Collective for over a year and a half.  He is probably one of the best people to solve puzzles and lead the Collective into victory in the Live events.  Calliente will be taking over the Babbage as Captain.

The second person promoted is RemagDiv.  RemagDiv formerly known as VidGamer is one of the first people to even participate in MxO going back to November 2003.  He is an original vet.  Remag has also served The Collective with distinction and deserves this promotion and responsibility.  Remag will be given his own ship and philosophy to add to "The Collective."

We would like to publically recognize these two fine gentleman and congratulate them on their new assignments.

Where: Sai Kung C dojo

Time: 5:00pm MCT

Rules are the same as last time.  Winner stays on the floor.  Challenger must pay the champion $500k to fight him.  Shoes will be allowed this time.  No health pills, anti-pills or TBs.  Mobius code is allowed.  Side betting is encouraged.  If you lose you have to wait 5 rounds before you can challenge the champion again.  Maybe more rounds depending on how many people are participating.  We want everyone to have a chance to fight.

If you have a good showing in these tournaments then you will be invited to our "No Surrender" huge tournament of champions. 

I completely forgot to post this.  I was having too much fun on our own TC boards today.  Tomorrow at 5:00pm MCT we will be having another "King of the Hill" tourny.  This time it will just be MA and gunman only.  No MKT's and no hackers.  Sai Kung dojo and I will allow shoes this one time only.

I have not decided if we will have rotating list of fighters or first person to pay the winner 500k yet.  We will see how it goes.

As some of you may know The Collective has been leveling up on Vector.  After all this time of running around rich on Recursion I can no longer stand being a poor scrub on Vector.
