Status report: Bill Talbot

Bill Talbot is a grocery store owner in Tabor Park. He considers himself a loner, and seldom leaves home at night unless he has to. He says this is due to gang activity in the area, but the truth is he much rather be playing computer games then going out with friends. The few people who claim to know him well state that he is a gaming addict.

Bill has been divorced for two years, and has no children. He has occasional contact with his siblings, but considers them to be more bother then what they are worth. If someone were to ask him what he considers important in life, he would say something to the effect that taking care of himself comes first, and everything else is just secondary so far as he is concerned. He has become aware of some inconsistencies in the simulation as of late. Approach him with caution.

This evening, Bifrous sought out Tariahe and Tranta for questioning in regards to the deaths that have recently occurred in the simulation Tariahe was questioned regarding the codes she had in her possession, which were being sought after by Sandilia. She denied knowing what Sandilia's motivations were for seeking out these codes. Bifrous then relayed the fact that he had received a tip the person or persons behind these occurrences had been seeking refuge in an apartment in the Lucero/Magog area. Olero had previously gone to the location, and found presents, erased disks, and Tranta's fingerprints. The investigation then shifted to the apartment in question.. No further evidence was found at the scene..and no admission of guilt came from Tranta, despite being questioned by Bifrous and numerous operatives.

Bifrous then informed Tariahe that Olero had located her in the Real, and that he had disabled her EJP in order to prevent her from continuing her "suspicious" activities. It should be noted that there was no indication Tariahe had engaged in any harmful actions for quite some time. Apparently, a sensor located in the apartment was tripped, and Machine security started attacking all that were present.

Tariahe was shot and killed by Tranta in the crossfire. He claimed that it was an accident..a casualty of the battle. This was met with suspicion and doubt by several individuals.

After leaving the scene, Bifrous came across Olero, who said he had been hurt by a program he did not recognize..

Tariahe- a former member of Libertas Verus. She had coded bullets previously obtained by BloodlustV during the time period she felt threatened by LV members upon her departure. Now deceased.

Sandilia- an independent operative. who prides herself on playing both sides against each other. She claims that she has information that will help BloodlustV in his efforts againist the Apostles. but also says she has information that will assist EPN in their investigation into how Veil gained access to the Hope where she murdered Shimada.

Bifrous- a former operative of Libertas Verus. who now works for the Machines. He is investigating these situations as well as EPN's activites, along with an operative by the name of Olero.

Sidonae- who some of you may remember as Theresa Morton, has been starting to remember the time she was in Machine custody last year prior to being rescued by Michael. EPN and Zion operatives are asked to monitor her within the simulation.

She appears to be a key player in procuring the information Veil used to locate and board Neo's Hope in order to kill Shimada. She has been jacking into the Syntax instance. EPN operatives have been successful in obtaining several disks from her which we are now in the process of decrypting.. How they tie into the information that Sandilia has remains to be seen.

It all started when BloodlustV was a bluepill and working as an assassin. He was suddenly selected to kill off someone but it turned out to be his childhood friend Nicole Richards. After declining the job, three men were sent in his place. They were known as the Apostles - a group of erasers under the Machine's authority. After they thought they had killed her, she returned after being helped by Zion. She later became Blood's assistant known as xArtemisx. Not too long later though, she was killed by Tranta after a Sentinel attack.

Blood spent the next few years working on trying to find out who was responsible and finally found them, the Apostles. He used his "favor" EPN owed him for help he provided them with during the Libertas Verus incidents and had them help him take them down. The first to fall was Dropfree, the first-mate of the crew. He fell by the hands of Gien in the Zero One Construct but that was only the beginning.

He then moved on to Zynios, having some operatives keep watch on him, and eventually going directly to him having a technician disable his emergency jack-out procedure. After that he suddenly fell dead leaving some people confused but Blood just carried up not giving it much thought. It was later determined Zynios was killed by someone referred to as "Boss" in his dying note found by the investigator Bifrous.

Blood then turned his sight on Velaios, as he was the final one left.

There was a problem, though: More murders suddenly started taking place before Blood got near Velaios leaving Bifrous baffled. He had found evidence of a serial murderer he dubbed the "Hollow Present Serial killer" as they left an empty present at the scene of all the murders as well as making sure they left no evidence behind. Such a trite title for a series of deaths like these is..wrong.

A bluepill, who we had previously been informed had a possible clue about this situation, was later murdered by Machine security.. My scans at the time indicated Tranta was in the area..

However, there were finger prints left behind on some pistols recovered - some were from Velaios while the others were from Tranta. This forced Tranta and Velaios to meet in Datamine to discuss the matter further but they were ambushed by Blood and his men before much could be discussed. Thus, Velaios went into hiding leaving Tranta being the only person to know of his location and the start of Tranta's "Games".

has arrived to find out what is going on..

On August 13th, at 3:00 PM MCT, Michael will be jacking into the Syntax instance to ensure the safe departure of these crews...

This announcement is to inform you that he needs volunteers to man
these ships, and he is asking EPN operatives from all instances for
help.

Each EPN operative who has obtained a neurokinetic level of 20 or
greater can designate one person to go on the expedition, which is
expected to last for an extended period of time.

We still need to have our more experienced operatives here in the
simulation, so each person may create an RSI for an operative they wish
to sponsor with no higher a neurokinetic level then 10 to depart from
the Syntax instance on the above date and time.

All operatives who wish to sponsor a volunteer are encouraged to do the following ;

1.Create an RSI for your operative, with a unique name of his or her own, that you wish to sponsor on the Syntax instance.

2. Form a crew among other EPN operatives from your instance, appoint

Yes, you are right.. Bluepills should never feel pressured into the decision of taking the red pill.. It is hard to balance the desire to reach out to a potential, but yet keep the realization in front of us at all times that not every human being will be ready as soon as some of us may want them to be. Some may never reach that point, as a matter of fact.
And yet, we must continually strive to reach out to those who do truly seek to free themselves from the deception of the simulation. It is only when every human being has the opportunity to make that choice in a fully aware state, that all humans will be truly free in every sense of the word.

Sidonae, as well as several EPN operatives, were able to make contact with the above named individual. Mr. Banks was a high school teacher who has been feeling alienated
from his environment, and sought an escape from the world as he knew it. He readily accepted taking the red pill, and is now recuperating.
This was Sidonae's first time contacting a bluepill since she was awakened..

To summarize:
All EPN and Zion operatives are invited. Please either let Fuscienne or myself know by June 23rd if you wish to participate. The first training will be on Wednesday,June 25th at 4 pm MCT, and on every Wednesday thereafter until completion.

Theresa Morton

Status: In Machine custody.

Last night, Theresa Morton, an innocent bluepill, was taken into Machine
custody during the course of an EPN operation. She had recently
reported to us that she had seen suspicious activity
in the Morrell bank building, which was very close to the area where
her husband had been murdered.

Theresa had been under surveillance for some time by both Agents and
Machine operatives, and had reached out to EPN for help. At the time of
the operation, she believed that she had access to information that
seemed pertinent to the recent events surrounding Mauser.

During the course of the operation, EPN came under heavy attack by the
Machines. Theresa, apparently terrified by the onslaught, fled the
scene. She was tracked down by Machine operatives, and then taken into
custody, as is indicated in the above report. She is being charged
with aiding and abetting "terrorist" activity... I can not even begin
to describe my anger..

Let me say this much: EPN will not rest until Theresa is freed from their clutches...

A well done battle.. Congratulations to the Hovercraft captains who participated. Good work on the part of the EPN captains. It was a hard-fought one indeed..

Li Meng

Awakened

EPN operatives 7h0r, Dajustifier, and Dibol made contact with Li Meng this evening at the grocery store where she was employed..
Although initially reserved, she related to us how her brother was supposedly killed in
automobile accident, but his body was never recovered.
Li Meng stated that a year ago,she saw her brother alive, but was unable to speak with him. She was assured by us that every attempt would be made to discover the fate of her brother.

I wish to commend the work of the operatives that were present, especially 7h0r.

I have been advised that once she has made a full recovery from the extraction process, she will jack in to assist us in this investigation. Further information will be forthcoming...

I don't think she should be approached for awakening, ever. You have enough sense to realize now is not the time, but her later reaching out for the truth may just be a cause of her loss and a great deal of depression, let the woman sleep.

That is for her to decided, not you or me. Things have a habit of changing and while she is not ready today who's to say she never will be? Many redpills have come to the truth by concurring their own depression and realising the need to free themselves from their own self created "Matrices". The quest for the Truth almost always follows soon after in which case she will then become a danger to the system and either need to be silenced or awakened.

The Commander is correct..

Mrs. Morton is in a very vulnerable state at the moment.. She lost her husband under the worse possible of circumstances. She is seeking the truth in many forms, she suspects there is more to her husband's death then what she was told by the "police". There is reason to believe her husband did indeed see things that he should not have seen...
We will have to continue to approach her with care.

I am saddened to report that Stanley Morton was killed during a sniper attack tonight in Morrell. This senseless murder occurred in the presence of his wife, Theresa Morton. Theresa is devastated by her loss..
Our information is that Stanley informed her of our contact with him prior to his death. Please use discretion when contacting her.
It is too late to help Stanley.. Perhaps it is not too late for his wife.

EPN operatives have made contact with Stanley Morton, a hot dog vendor from the Maribeau district. I wish to commend the operatives that were present for putting him at ease.
Mr. Morton was amicable , and appears open to further discussions. However, operatives are advised to proceed with caution, as Mr. Morton needs to make the decision for himself in regards to taking the red pill.

Operatives are encouraged to continue interacting with Mr.Morton when the opportunity presents itself.
