So My detective skills go off and i'm like *CENSORED*! Some moron litterally backed straight into me then after he heard a scrape and a bump left. So I call the cops, they tell me to call the insurance company, I call the insurance company and ask them a few questions. Mainly my deductible is like 1 grand, not sure the damage is that much, got witness and plate and they tell me the *CENSORED* can go to jail and I won't pay a dime. Chances are he will just have to pay to fix it but still I figured it is up to me to teach that *CENSORED* a lesson.

So I have an appointment with a claims guy tomorow and I hope the CSI the *CENSORED* out of my bike and nail him just like in the show. I'm sure it will not be anything like that but hey my imagination can work here. Anyways for my pain and suffering and seeing my bike in a desheveled not so pretty way i hope the guy or gal has to pay to repaint her.

Sometimes I just get in a pissy mood. It usually starts with me trying to mind my own business and some one who cannot see the consequences of their own actions shooting me. It ruins my clothes, puts me in a position I don't enjoy and really... well lets not go there shall we.

So i go to login to alt today and low and behold it says "The character you are attempting to login to does not exist".

Okay i think to myself, should be an easy fix contact there support and take it from there. So i go into chat support, fill out the forms and get TSR Danny S. It's about 6:40pm PST and i notice chat closes at 7pm PST. Anyways Danny proceeds to tell me:

Great i think, reply to the email no problem so i go and do just that.

I then get a follow up email that reads:

So i click on the link where it's asking me for my email address and password. I enter them and it says it's not correct and i cannot login. I think to myself.... Self is it possible i could have lost or perhaps forgotten my login info. Self assures me thats probably not the case but to be on the safe side i use the password recover tool where it says:

You do not need a separate Password to recieve support.

So i click on Service history and login and get told there Security certificates are out of date.

So i go to HULK SMASH mode and start to wonder how the hell i get anyone to look at this issue.

Can you set in your useropts file to have the game log text all the time?

So i got a new system for the holidays and it's running Vista Home pro 64bit version and i need some suggestions for some software to listen to my mp3 collection.

Way back i used to use Winamp, then moved to qplayer (i think thats what it was called) and most recently i was using dbPowerAmp. One of my major issues is my ID tags as they are all messed up so something that can search and fix those for me would be cool. Something with good controls for playing big collections would be nice too. Like all Metal with 3 stars or more. Random that *poop* and go. This is important cause i got like 17,000 songs.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Anyways the reason i'm posting this mainly is because there has been so much news lately with the Radiohead and then Trent Reznor stuff. Then OINK getting raided added more fuel to the fire. If your a music lover you owe it to yourself to check out the release method used here and to read up on the changing landscape.

It was discussed at a recent meeting that we would like to have a day where we step up the PVP a notch. We wish to do this for two reasons. One to ramp up the great pvp we have been having of late and two because it's Twaggy's last few days in the simulation for awhile so it's a nice send off.

We have setup a Petition that we will be PMing to Raijinn to request a mass pvp zone (everyone vs everyone) which has been implemented before in the past. We hope to have this pvp session at the baseball diamond in Kaede International on the 26th of September. The petition is located here.

Also anyone who would has the capabilities please FRAPs the PVP as we would like to post footage of the battle and make some pvp videos to showcase our great server.

I'm looking to spice up my tabletop roleplaying group and through why not try a Matrix RPG. So i started looking and there are a few that people have thrown together. I'm just curious if anyone out there has some more extensive knowledge and can perhaps point me to one of the better systems. If there are no good systems does anyone want to design one with me?

I'm looking for a gamepad that i can use with MMO's that allows me to have the WASD movement keys and then programmable keys around it that i can use to hotkey abilities and stuff.

I have seen these three online but was wondering if Anyone has any experience with any of them and can offer any insight.

Linked from the top 10 Transhumanist Technologies page but i thought this was interesting as it reminds me somewhat of the matrix movies. how things got started.

Surely if a machine is able to reproduce another machine systematically, we may say that it has a reproductive system. What is a reproductive system, if it be not a system for reproduction? And how few of the machines are there which have not been produced systematically by other machines? But it is man that makes them do so. Yes; but is it not insects that make many of the plants reproductive, and would not whole families of plants die out if their fertilization was not effected by a class of agents utterly foreign to themselves? I have been loving the recent threat of agent attacks as it reminds me of the good old days so i was thinking about how it works now and it simply doesn't make sense. So here are my thoughts or ideas.

Data Node threat levels - If your a level 50 in a level 24 area in Westview for example your signature to the agents should be higher than a level 24 in the same area. Thus you should get attacked faster than the lower level people. Set the threat level based on level of the area and the higher the level the more threat one generates. This to me just simply makes sense as a high level would stand out amongst the crowd. This will force people to utilize higher level areas or tap the nodes which in my opinion is a good thing. And hopefully this isn't to hard to accomplish in the code of the game either as it seems it works opposite currently.

Reset Data Nodes - Data nodes you currently hack to mask your signal. In this idea think of tapping a data node like say stealing a satalite signal. The signal gets reset from time to time so you have to re-tap the node. It makes sense that the machines would release new keys for the data nodes from time to time. The time limit could be static for all nodes. Perhaps ever few months all nodes are reset. Or perhaps it's dependent on the node itself. Like all Sobra Shore's access nodes reset every x day while others reset another day. Lastly they could perhaps reset automatically x days after a character taps them. Obviously having them all do it on a specific day would be easier for the development team though. Like the beginning of each chapter it's reset.

Machines and Data Nodes - Lastly i always thought it was weird that a machine would get hunted down by an agent. If feasible i think Machine characters should be exempt from the threat of agent attacks. This would offer something unique to that group of people. I'm sure if needed we can think of subtle things for the other orgs too although i don't think it's needed.

Anyways what do you think?

So i checked out Static X last night at Richards on Richards in Vancouver and the club was a small place so pretty cool. Anyways the first band was called Cyanotic and they are from Vancouver and i have never heard of them but man they were pretty *CENSORED* good. Enough for me to seek there CD out today.

Static-X got up and well it went crazy from there. I got an awesome spot in the mosh pit surrounded by girls and even got a chance to take a few pictures when i was crammed in layer 2-3 of the pit and couldn't move. Anyways here are the pics for those interested.

So i am looking at my clothes and my stats like Ballistic Accuracy and something doesn't seem to add up.

First i'm Running Handguns Style with Duelist Upgrade. My stats are maxed for gunner with a 30 Perception and 30 focus.

I currently sport a Ballistic Accuracy of 118pts, this is with a 78% Accuracy bonus.

Handguns gives you a Ballistic Accuracy of 65pts and Duelist Upgrade gives you 3pts.

If you do the math 68pts * 1.78 = 121.04 which as you can see if 3 pts off. So i figured maybe it applies the % seperately.

65pts * 1.78 = 115.7
3pts * 1.78 = 5.25
115 + 5 = 120 as you always round down.... Still missing 2 pts.

So i figured maybe it applies the bonus for each item under Ballistic Accuracy Bonus % seperatley. So i got the following

So take these and times them by the values.

Also what correlation does your CT score on the combat tab have with your accuracy rating? Anyways any help is appreciated.

So i was toying around with Detection and the Concealment Countermeasure Tool AKA Flashlight and it's got a range of 6 meters but there is a small issue.

That problem is that Punt, Supplex and probably all the sneaks have a range of 6 meters. They also have a visual indication on when someone is within that range. From my tests so far i have yet to successfully use the Concealment Countermeasure Tool AKA Flashlight to knock off a disguise before being punted. Seems there is a small delay between when i use the ability and when it works perhaps?

Therefore i recommend that the range of the Concealment Countermeasure Tool AKA Flashlight to be increased. 8 meters seems fair to me given what i know as it gives you a small window of opportunity. We could then gauge the usefulness of the tool without making it over powered at that time.
