OS 3.0 will be available for 3G.  But Voice Control, Compass, Video recording, Photo editing, and the 2x speed boost will only be for the S, right?

My mom actually came up with a theory that the reason Ben didn't go back with the others was because he was on the island at the time they went back to.  If that's true, then maybe Sun is there somewhere on the island in 1977, too.  It's just a theory, though.

I'm really excited to see what's going to happen.  In all likelihood, Ben didn't die when Sayid shot him, but now I'm all excited to see what would happen if this is a real change in the timeline!

Face it, they could put more money into this thing, but then they'd be losing money since it wouldn't enhance interest in the game and then they'd shut it down completely.  As a company, it just wouldn't make any sense.  Unless you want to give them the funds yourself, complaining isn't going to get you anywhere.

Hm, so Sun was the woman Frank left with in the boat.  But the question still remains why she wasn't taken back to 1977 with the others. 

Also, what happened to Faraday?  We saw him in the first episode of the season with Dharma gear on but he hasn't been seen since we jumped to 1977 and then Sawyer said he was gone or something like that, I don't remember exactly.

It should be interesting what effect everyone will have on Ben.  Or maybe the other way around!

Yeah, AP stuff is pretty awesome. 

3 on AP US Hist gave me 3 of my 6 hours of History.

4 on my AP Eng Lit gave me 6 hours of English.

2 on my AP Calc gave me nothing, though.  :P

I went with a friend who was VERY distracted by "little Dr. Manhattan" but it didn't seem to phase me.  Once you get into the movie you barely notice it.  But I was pretty taken aback when I first saw that it wasn't going to go away because I thought the trailers had him with his black thong on, but now that I think about it they must have either tastefully cropped the images or digitally put the thong on him.

It reminds me of the "I Love You, Man" trailers.  The rated R trailer and the G rated trailer have the same footage, but they've digitally dubbed over all the cussing to make it more appropriate.  It really tricks you because all the sudden those scenes come up and it's totally not what you heard on the commercial.

But anyway, it was an awesome movie!

Didn't watch this episode until just now.  It definitely looks egyption god-like.

I'm mixed about Sawyer and Juliet together.  I honestly think I'd prefer Sawyer/Kate and Jack/Juliet, but I'm not sold on that idea either.

So, I'm assuming when the O6 re-crashed, they flashed and went back to 1977 with the rest of them, but the regular people who weren't O6 on the plane crashed in 2008.  Which means Ben and Locke are in 2008 while the O6 are in 1977.  And we're still missing Sayid and Sun, which means they could either be in 1977 or 2008, but I don't see why they wouldn't have gone back to 1977 with the others.

Also, at the beginning of the series, we saw Faraday back in time whenever they were building the Swan Station.  At the time, back before any of the time traveling was explained, I thought he could time travel like Desmond and Ms. Hawking did, but I'm guessing that took place between 1975 and 1977, the 3 years he and the rest of them were living with the Dharma people.

I'm just wondering how they're going to get out of this time shift and get back into real time, and I'm really wondering what the purpose of this is and how this is going to effect everything else!  Basically, I'm excited!

I knew Ben was going to kill Locke as soon as Locke told him he had Jin's wedding ring.  I'm wondering if he knew Locke would be resurrected once the plance crashed or not, but I'm thinking he didn't with his "I'm really going to miss you, John" remark.  Should be interesting once he finds out.

Question:  Who was the woman that stole one of the boats with Lapidus?  If only Jack, Kate and Hurley flashed and disappeared, that would mean that Ben, Sun and Sayid didn't and are with the rest of the plane members.  We know Ben's still there, Sun could be the woman Lapidus ran paddled off with, so where's Sayid?

And the next episode looks like it's going to deliver.  HARD.

We never knew each other but I always liked you from the minute I saw your name "Yahweh".  Whoever raised the fuss about your name should have been shot.  I thought it was creative and very original (even though it's centuries old).

And it's sad to see a member for 4.5 years leave, especially now during these troubled times.  Take care. 

Comedy and Drama are 2 completely seperate beasts and the Academy only cares about one of them.  I don't see that changing, even with a new president.  Someone just needs to come up with the Academy of Dramatic Comedy with a completely new award show if the comedies are going to get any respect.

It's sad but true.

Slumdog Millionaire was really good, actually.  It was all done very well- funny at the right moments, sad at the right moments, cinematography was excellent, and everything else.  But I think the Academy should have recognized some of the other great films tonight instead of giving it all to Slumdog.

I was fortunate to watch it in my hotel room this weekend because I got to have the subtitles on which really helps.  A lot of them have some thick accents and I don't think I would have appreciated it as much if I hadn't had the subtitles.  So if you're hard of hearing or something, wait for the DVD with subtitles.  :)

In ever director's face, except for Danny Boyle's, I could tell they were all thinking "I would so totally win right now if I wasn't up against that f****er who did Slumdog Millionaire."

It was a great movie, and I'm glad it won Best Picture, but did it really deserve all 7 of those Oscars?

Yeah, I can see this just getting messier this season (which I'm pretty excited about).

I like your way of thinking, Yasamuu.  Ben could have been going after Penny, and if Penny dies I can see Desmond wanting to go back to the island to seek revenge on Ben but then of course he'll end up being used by the island for some purpose he didn't see coming.

And yeah, Aaron?  I read in Entertainment Weekly that episode 12 (what # are we on now?) is a Kate episode where we get to see Kate's reasoning for not wanting to go back and then wanting to go back and I have a feeling that's when we'll find out what happened to Aaron.

What I'm wondering is what time they're in and how long it's been for those still left on the island.  They could have time jumped 3 years into the future when the O6 get back so it wouldn't have been that long for them, or they could have spent 10 years jumping through time.

Plus, that van and the jumpsuit looked new.

All you people complaining about Morpheus and Sarah Edmontons, etc etc - Rare didn't intend for the story to end at all.  After chapter 14, the story would have continued on to maybe one day answer those things, but it just won't anymore.
