Woot I finally can post again! I was having the authentication error, then I closed Firefox just to see if it would work, logged into MxO launcher and it got me in. Then once I went back to DN1 I found I was jacked out again and couldn't post. Good times. Checking now... i'm back at authenticating. I'm sure using those fixes will eventually work though.

Pretty much that's saying, "Hey, here's what's happening with the game, for those of you who aren't a current subscriber as of MAY 28th, you're SOL." So the sensible thing would be to let those of us who subscribed before June 1st have their subscriptions and be let into the game, or admit that an announcement should have been made earlier than the cut off date, and again, allow those of us who had a current subscription into the game. Why announce the end and not allow people to say good bye? (As well as the extra revenue that bringing all the oldies back brought?) We subscribed to see the end of the game, so obviously the $15 was less important than saying goodbye to MxO. Refunds mean nothing under these circumstances.
I completely understand where you're coming from in this regard and it's pretty much the same confusing situation the others who subbed between the 27th and the 1st are in. We're figuring out what can be done though, so although I know you don't want to hear a wait and see answer, that's really all I can say.
Well honestly, a "wait and see" answer is big improvement upon the CSR's answer. I know you're kind of repeating yourself replying to everyone, but actually thinking about this is better than the flat out "no, the game is closed" stuff that was happening a few hours ago, so thank you for that, at least. Of course, we all want to see the decision that subscriptions are re-opened again. That's the reason we came back in the first place.

For players who have previously purchased prepaid subscription time via a multi-month subscription service, SOE game time card or other retail game time card that extends the service period past June 1, 2009, SOE will refund these accounts for the unused time and where indicated will mail refund checks to the current billing address on the account. Please be sure to update your email and physical address in your Station Account as this will be critical to the refund process." I'm a little shocked that this is still being quoted by SOE Admins. It's like there's a total disconnect between the CSRs, TSRs, and the frontline responders. Raijinn, are you aware that the customer service reps are all saying that, in fact, the cutoff date was May 28th and not June 1st, which is why so many people have lost their accounts?
Yeah, actually I've seen you all quote the CSR's quite a bit. I believe that 27th/28th date was an internal date set or something along those lines however in the mailer it did state the 1st as the cut-off. It's pretty confusing for you all (and myself to some extent) but we hope to get this clarified and resolved in the near future.
Especially since everyone was given notice of MxO's fate on May 28th via Walrus's post, and yours. I'll definitely be missing the 2-person emotes, the Matrix world itself, the RSIs/clothing, and (mostly) everyone, really. MxO brought a few good things into my life so i'm sentimental about it, and hate to see it go now that the choice has been taken away.

$1500 / 36 = $41.67 yep that sounds more accurate ..
So yes, that's 36 versions of WoW distributed across 11 machines to install and patch. I can't imagine trying to patch more than one copy at a time, for the time some of these things take to download. Imagine having 11 machines fighting for bandwidth at the same time??
Gotta wonder what his monthly internet bills run him ..
/as Well yeah, he obviously needs 36 copies of the game so he can activate 36 accounts and run 36 characters at once, but he doesn't need to install 36 times. That's all I was saying before.

I don't have a problem with him really, I just still see Shia as a little kid. This is the first movie (or second, maybe?) that they're trying to portray him as older, adult... and I still see the kid from that one TV show he used to be in.
Otherwise, the film does look good, but everyone keeps saying the ending stinks! Now I actually have an 'expectation' when I go to watch it...
