All these fun pics from Fan Faire have really got me jealous as to how we Europeans have largely missed out. I know that there have been regular requests that SOE hold the annual event in London one year, but realistically, that just won’t happen.
In lieu of this, I was wondering whether SOE UK might hold an equivalent event over this side of the pond, on a lower budget of course. It might even be that we could get a video-link to Rarebit et al, for a conference of our own. I'm also sure that Euro-types could produce a whole new level to the drinking binges which Fan Fair caused!
I used to know of a "high-up" in SOE UK but have lost contact in the last few years. Has anyone else (/target Devs; /cough) got any thoughts on whether this could ever be organised? Since SOE is actually a Japanese company, there must be some potential to have a convention in a location other than the US...?
