I don't know why this keeps happening to me... god damnit... Due to some technical problems I was unable to get back online halfway through the party, I think my mainboard is short circuiting, as result it won't even boot to the BIOS...

At moment of writing I'm ordering new Mainboard (ASUS Rampage II Extreme) incl. new CPU (Intel i7 920) an xtra GFX card (MSI GTX 260 T2D896 OC) and upping my PSU (going up towards 1000Watt) I'm hoping this expensive revamp of my 1 month old system will fix my problems the xtra GFX card is just a bonus ofc.

After pending 900euro on last order a month ago, I'm now revamping for an other 1000euro ofcourse this is way more expensive then anyone wants.

Incase you're wondering, NO I did not plan to crash halfway through the party... I would have thought up an exit with more style or left after thanking everyone (ask people who been to previous parties)

Anyway as soon as I got a new working system, I'll be back planning a date to continue the party.

Sorry for any inconveniences but I do not have back up plans for when my PC goes haywire, and you don't expect a 1 month old system to freak out.

Trying to avoid any conflicts with other events, but that is nearly impossible with update so close to newyear and friday 25th being xmas itself, I know ya'll be drunk under the xmas tree unpacking something, or someone. SMILEY

Party name: Special Party Hosted In-time for New-year and Xmas... AKA SPHINX, it's a tribute to our favourite party place: Club Sphinx

Total pay out is set at 1bil, it's a pretty low pay out BUT with 6 months inactivity best I can do

Pay out planning:
2 x 10.000.000
2 x 20.000.000
2 x 30.000.000
2 x 40.000.000
2 x 50.000.000
4 x 75.000.000
4 x 100.000.000

This is enough to keep going for about 9 hours, provided the shedule of 1 price every 30 mins is maintained.
Due to a donation pyro left behind there will be also 5 x a 50.000.000 snowballfight, making grand total 1.25bil (1.250.000.000).

Date, time: friday 19th, 10PM GMT/ 5PM EST / 2 PM PST (I think, little rusty there )

Make sure you bring holliday hats and snowballs.

This is a The Anomalies hosted party, please remind that we don't allow any other type of fighting then the planned snowball fights... breaking the rule or cheating in the snowball fight will result in disqualification.
Any fights / duels that DO happen should happen outside.

Poster: N/A was uable to create one in the short amount of time that was left...

Note: New players are welcome too, all you need to do is get to Club Sphinx in Dannah Heights - Richland if you are unable to walk there ask help from a higher level.
You only need to be present at the party to be able to win (random drawing / best clothed etc.)

Radio: none as of yet first to offer gets the deal, original plan was to use TAR (The Anomalies Radio) but at moment of writing it's still off-air

IF they would test new abils / trees like org abils or the long forgotten Zen Master, I reckon a public test server would be best, not get it live with out a proper testing as it can unbalance the whole game.

People already started bitching about old abils, cause it means they can't get cq points of defensless dataminers cause they use master shadow or stuff like that...

If these abils aren't tested and tweaked with a test server like they used before CR 2.0 people will be complaining to much...
(not that they won't)

Anyway, these leaked org abils are fun, but no where near ready for use.

PS. I wouldn't mind a testserver setting where we could test more upcoming game features, cause it can actually make the game more "for the players, from the players" cause I think listening to the players, what they want / need (and I don't mean listening to bitching about abils that suddenly aren't cool anymore) and work on that, people want new content ask the players for suggestions and test it on a test server.

I love MxO but I hate how it's getting less and less attention... MxO is a great game that could / would have more players if there's put attention to improvements, making everything a pill isn't going to cut it.

Ok going off topic here, but this is my opinion, what you think about all this isn't up to me...

This pay out is nearly double the Halloween payout. all that cash for halloween (1.5bil) was spent...

The Biggest problem will be to out do this 2 day party event...
If you count the pre-party (specially for those who can't make it for the main party or just like to party even longer) that's a total of 16 hours of party spread over 2 days...
But besides beating the 16hours the cash flow is becoming problematic...

So... with out any form of help there will be no parties, with help there will be, but most likely not as expensive...

But it's getting everyone together in a relaxed mood what counts SMILEY

I like the way this party worked out, no serious fighting, no serious PVP, no serious nothing, just serious cash SMILEY

Sadly I did have to cut it short due to lack of sleep, which I eventually felt pulling me down, so I had to speed the payment up a bit... :S

None the less it was a hell(oween) of a party SMILEY even if Effy didn't make his appearance we enjoyed the party for 7.5 hours (counting pre-party I added for people who weren't able to get to the main party)

Again thank you to you all, if any good shots get posted I WILL post a token of apreciation so don't stop tracking this thread yet SMILEY

The play.asx server we used was for the party ONLY and will be down from now on, however: the listen.asx server will continue to be up, if the DJs aren't playing you can bet Agent Smith is behind the controls 24/7 SMILEY

depends Alt, cause people do need to be able to get masks, veteran or newbie all should be able to get ready and enjoy the party...

Most of you do know I hate half finished plans, and sadly I can't put out those fires and make halloween a happy party again...

I also think that IF the party will be held, a few mins of silence should be taken to show we care about those struck by the fires.

All I ask of people is to behave and not flag up....

This means: drop your luggables and relog or you WILL find yourself disqualified...

like last party: you flag you disqualify no debate possible, 3 or more of 1 faction flag faction is out... PERIOD.

I also ask off all those present to ignore any red tags, if you engage a flagged person (possible with a luggable in the pacification zone) you WILL be disqualified just as fast....

PS. Remember this party stretches 9 hours! but can be subject to change depending on activities that MIGHT happen and well... if it lasts 9 hours it will be 8AM for me do it's gonna be hard but I WILL do my best to stick to the shedule so atleast a part of GMT, EST and PST (and anywhere between) can attend...

Instead of whining about MxO dieing out, and just watching....
I decided to take action.

Project Save MxO (title is Work in progress) is currently Recursion based, though everyone is welcome to help...
We're looking for people with:
- HTML / PHP / Flash knowledge
- MxO clips*
- MxO pics*
- MxO Stories
- MxO music
*clips/pics to compare MxO and movie will be welcome too
NOTE: Things will be filtered on quality, low quality pics, clips or Stories that can do harm will not be used

Our goal: To promote MxO and try to activate the community

Ofcourse any other help is welcome, and I also hope the MxO crew will see this as a support for them and the game...

To me the name of the timezone doesn't change, I need to remember to much if I'm gonna start that, I live in neither timezones

I'm Dutch, and I've learned about the 8hours difference between GMT and PST...
I'll always stick to the 8hours timedifference when planning as I think both EU & US should be able to participate...

Ofcourse... Not everyone can be there, but at least I try to make it big, available to big part of the public and last in your memories SMILEY

I always try to put the parties at a time both EU and US can participate....

We Start at 2PM PST / 10 GMT and I intend to keep it running for atleast 3 to 4 hours...

Depending on what happens this goal might or might not be reached...
