I know, I know. I tried to convince myself to not post a goodbye thread such as this one, but I apparently failed. This is a real post, and yeah, I'm leaving for good this time. Maybe the player could buy a sim from a vendor, and then take it around to duel only, not for PvP.

Could we duel our own sims? We could buff it, click on it, and type /duel like we were going to duel a player.

The sims would never be able to turn down a duel. Of course, when you defeat the sim, the duel is over, and when they defeat you, the duel is over.

Mind you it was just a quick idea that I thought of that might help the people who have nobody to duel.

Although I like drama on Recursion as much as the next person, (lol) I do have an idea pretaining to events/stories.

You always go into certain parts of the forums seeing depressing stories, dramatized debates, and emotionless posts about player events. (Other than the flames)

But what about comedy? Shouldn't it have a role in MxO? (I'm serious)

Knowing that most player events contain drama, searches, assassinations, and other seemingly repetitious "mini-events", comedy should play a bigger role in MxO than it does now.

Comedy in this game should be rather easy to implement, knowing that most dull, ignored comedy would take place in Mara C in the forms of "lol, lmfao, rofl, and lmao,".....

Similar ideas have taken shape as spoofed clips from movies...in movies, like Scary Movie, Scary Movie 2, Scary Movie 3, Scary Movie 4, and Date Movie. ((I'm sure there are more.)) And for the spoofed game episodes, like Red vs. Blue...MxO could do around the same thing.

Generally, the only non-dramatized comedy you see on these forums, is in the Community Caption Competition thread.

Player events could use comedy, and lots of it. Maybe a player event meant to be funny, and not full of drama. Or someone could make an actual MxO episode using video recording software.

Now, about the voices and the chatbox, which would somehow be critical with making an actual comedy episode, if anyone has tried that already. Using something like teampseak, or Xfire, it could very well be possible. ((Sounds like something the Red vs. Blue people would use.))

But anyways, I'm drifting off-topic. Back to what I was saying.

Overall, I just wanted to present my idea, since it seems like I am the only person that was actually going to say something about comedy in MxO. ((I haven't seen anyone else make a thread like this in past months..))

Before/during/after a major storm hits the Gulf Coast, those states such as Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana can't look to themselves for financial help to get their citizens back on their feet, for they are some of the poorest states in the country. So they would have no choice but to look to the federal government to help them out. But when the president doesn't act immediately and help out with stuff like financial issues, things like much needed supplies, food, and other necessities can be slowed down immensely.

Which therefore would re-create the hurricane relief situation last year.

I know that this question prolly doesn't belong in this certain thread but...

Not meaning this to sound rude or offensive...

But only god knows what is going to happen when the next batch of hurricanes come and a select few hit the Gulf Coast...again.

Okay, lets see, 7 months later, another war in Iraq anniversary has gone by (I didn't know if it should be called an anniversary in the first place), and more deaths than I can count. The news makes the war in Iraq so usual that its right along with the gas price averages for the day. One can compare this war to the one we fought in Vietnam, but obviously lost. Many soliders died, many civilians died, and we lost. Which is just what I'm thinking is going to happen to us this time around.

(Not saying abandon ship, just losing quite a lot of hope here.) But the same thing during both of those time, we have idiots for presidents. Knowing that Bush should of been impeached already, I now don't think there is a chance that it WILL happen, no matter what seemingly stupid decisions he does make.

Seeing how I have different views than Republicans on the topic of the war, (obviously that makes me a Democrat) I dont think we should have gone to war at all. But most (okay, some) Republicans now are saying that it wasn't worth it. (I do wonder if that should automatically make them Democrats lol) Now, changing this from the war topic to the re-building of the Gulf Coast....

I do know that he should be blamed for the slow response (and some of that has already been proven, even around 7 months later). Just think, if we are still re-building AFTER 7 months and the next hurricane season is just around the corner, then Bush best get to work on "plans of action" for when these next batch of hurricanes just happen to hit the Gulf Coast again and ruin even more lives. But I'm drifting off topic...
