  I was killed 3 times today in the Datamine construct by level 255 agents.  I read somewhere that you have to make sure to look at your compass in order not to get ganked.  But my compass/agent meter is always blank and level 255 agents spawn out of no where.  Unless that it was a data spawn, then I will shut up.

I believe it is time that we deserve some inventory space.  I basically have 2 pages with just coder clothing.  (I.e. Repair/Compile/Apparel/Weapon buffs)

I say screw the e-mail crap!  I don't know how hard it would be to implement this, but it will be totally worth the time!  I don't see this being a big hassle for the developers/engineers.  It's been more than 2 years now and we haven't seen any increase in the inventory size.  I want to post this dead-horse once again, to see if anyone besides Rarebit or 9mmfu actually reads these concerns.  This is one little request I think every player deserves.  I don't see any conflict with the inventory space and balance issues.  If there are any issues please tell me what they would be.  Otherwise I think it would be great to have at least some more space.   This game's only re-play value is to farm for sweet clothing, yet we barely have the space.  I think alts. are NOT the answer for the inventory space issue.

This request has always been needed, but now with the Anniversary Event coming up tomorrow it is almost a must.  I love it that with the 2nd year Anniversary we will get "10 unique T-shirts".  I want to get all the T-shirts in game, but as level 50's we don't have that much space.  I wish we could have more space in the inventory, like 4 more pages to make it an even 10 SMILEY

Now if we won't be getting any more inventory space, then the least the Dev's could do is increase the e-mail attachment sizes.  What does the attachment size have to do with inventory space?  You ask.  Well if the unique event items are trade-able, then that means they can be e-mailed to your alternative character on the same server.  This alt. probably doesn't use as much inventory speech as your primary character does, so then you can simply e-mail your loaded space to your alt. character.  But e-mail one item per e-mail is just repetitive and dumb in my opinion.  I would like to give players the ability to e-mail more than one item per attachment.  I would love to at least e-mail 5 or more per e-mail.  I don't see how this could be an issue, because there are not that many subscribers to MxO so the servers wouldn't "blow up."  I even Copy and Paste my name, yet I still have to click 2 times for each item plus another click for deleting.  This is NOT efficient.  There shouldn't be more clicks per item to send. 

I think every player in game can agree with me on one or both of these issues.  If we keep getting unique items, whether they be archive or event, we WILL need more space.  I hope that our inventory will be increased.  If this couldn't happen because there is nobody on the MxO team that could write a script for this, then at least we should be able to e-mail more than one item at a time. 

 So in conclusion, I have a dream that I wish was so real, that we will be getting more space for our characters.  I remember back in Beta we had even less, now it is like how did we manage!?

 

PS:  I hope this stays in the General Discussion because this is an issue which needs to be brought up with everyone and not just those who look in the Development Roundtable.

  Since Rarebit said that we won't get an increase in Code Archive storage.  I am here to suggest the idea of increasing the Code Bits/Stackable items from 20 to 40.  This will greatly decrease the code archive capacity, then we can have more room for abilities, collection loot (i.e. Pandora's Box stuff), and clothing.   I really would like to have all the abilities in game, plus have about 200 code bits of each numbered bit.

  I would like to know who, on the dev team, actually reads and consider players thoughts?  Or is this just a dream thread where players post what they would like to see in the game, but it will never happen because the devs are "short-handed" or don't want to take the time to make the game better.  It doesn't seem like there is any new content ever happening in the future that will make this game have an actual re-play value.

  I would like to e-mail items from Satellites, because I code abilities and send them to my other alt.  but I don't want to risk being killed everytime I go to a hardline just to send an e-mail.  I would like to code all my abilities/items/weapons and then send them off right there at a satellite without having to go to a hardline.

  Since some of you may remember Morpheus's lightening ability, you may want to think about this.  I would love to see that when it is storming out, bolts of lightening can strike random positions in the Matrix.  This effect would look just like Morpheus's lightening attacks, but they would be bright white.  I would love to see a bolt of lightening strike by me or far away on a building or something.  I believe this would make the game look even better with a realistic effect such as lightening.  I know there probably are issues with this, but I don't see how it would be different than the drops of rain.  I really like my Lightening Idea, so I hope you do too.

I have a Theory of what will happen with Neo's remains and the struggle between Zion and the Machines to have them. 

 

I think that the Machines will end up having more power than they could imagine when they plug Neo's body back into the system.  So because of Neo's power, the Machines will say to Zion that they will let a lot more blue-pills to be released, because they no longer need their energy in the pods.  So it will be a choice for Zion and Morpheus (who is not dead in my opinion) to want Neo's remains back and not release any more blue-pills OR to think that Neo's sacrifice happened for a reason and let him be plugged in to give the Machines enough power so that blue-pills will be saved. 

 So the problem is choice.  Between the salvation of others or the remains of Neo.

I recently was thinking about the unavailablity of sending multiple items in one e-mail.  Then I thought about the Mailboxes in game. 

 

 

 

These mailboxes should be used in game.  Remember in the Animatrix?  When the message was sent that the machines were diggin?  These mailboxes were in the Matrix Universe and should be used in game.  I think the developers should use these mailboxes or create similar ones in game, so we can sent multiple attachments or perhaps use them to send a mass e-mail to a faction.  I hope the developers see this post and take it into consideration.

I am seeing a lot of Redpills having the same exact color scheme for their name as Admins/Devs/Mods.  Is anyone else getting this or is it just me?

Hey I was running missions from an Org (Can't think of the one right now) but it was sweet at how you could repair HL boxes.  And I was just wondering if there was a way to make that on the outside.  I know it would take a lot of work to do, but the Player and Environment is lacking any features>  I just thought it would be cool if we could find HL boxes and either Damage or Repair them depending on the Org.  (Like Zions would fix them, while Mervs would Damage them and Machines could do both) I am just throwing this out as an idea.  And the HL Boxes would not have anything to do with the Phone Booth HL's.  Since in the movies they could have jacked out using any ground phone.  But I think it would be sweet if we got Cash or something everytime we damaged or repaired it.  Then that would have the orgs something else to do.

I would like to just pitch this post in this thread since I don't see any where else it would go.

 

But I remember when Zen Master was "Leaked" (I still have no clue how something that big can be accidentally leaked into the game) and I remember I had it and I thought this was amazing.  Zen Master actually made it feel "Matrixy".  It had great animations and it was actually fun to use.  It even had Morpheus' move, the one where he jumps up high and lands on one knee to the opponent (like he did with Neo in the Dojo and with the Agent during the Highway Chase scene).  But I just would love it if the Developers would re-think about balancing the Zen Master tree again.  It was soo, sooo sweet!!!  I would just like to have more Martial Arts in the game.  Because I think this would bring the replay value way up. 

So please reopen the QA server to test out and balance Zen Master to be in the game.  Because I don't like having something still in the game not being able to be played out by customers.  I just hope that Zen Master and new Martial Arts will be coming in the game.  I would rather have new trees instead of Old Archived Missions or Org Abilities.  So I would really like to see it that new trees are on the Devs list right after the Org Abilities/White Hallways.

 

And If anyone here has screenshots or videos of in-game Zen Master I would love it if you posted them, just so people can see what they were like.

I wanted to just post this in hopes that SOE Executives will read it, (Which I highly doubt!).

 Dear SOE,

     I am writing this post in hope to give you some feedback, and reality of your current situation.  I deeply love the forums, and I hope you will be working hard on it over the next few days (as in overtime work).  I just do not see why you couldn't simply purchase VBulletin or something like that.  VBulletin has been tested for basically over 2 years or more and it is very stable and reliable and it is definitely WORTH every penny to purchase instead of trying to code from scratch some forums.  The only reason why I think you didn't is because of Marketing or Human Resources.  I think that something is deeply wrong with SOE when the only influence or basically anything connected to your websites/forums is because they are not SOE employees. 

      I just do not see your employees (Webmasters) putting any effort into the SOE websites.  I think if you gathered up a bunch of paying customers who can code great websites a chance to make a website which should be the OFFICIAL website for a game, and I would guarantee it would be updated.  I have not seen one update on the MxO website since Gosh I don't know how long.  The only thing that EVER gets updated are announcements.  But other than announcements I believe the website now is just a waste of good resources.  I personally don't think paying customers get the quality of communication they should be.  I don't know where to go if I want to ask SOE a question, and since your home website never gets routinely updates it is just amazing that you have the money to purchase games and yet not hire a dedicated webmaster(s). 

    What is the money going toward?  I think if you calculate MxO of having 30,000 members currently active and times it by $15 a month/customer that is a pretty good sized cash amount per month. (Roughly $450,000 per month!)  I do not know exactly what the servers cost per month, but the MxO team needs more manpower in it's grips.  The current team does an excellent job with the resources they are given, but the game needs to just get better than it already is.  The current team knows it needs to get better but they have their time limited with what they can and cannot do.  Now if you have lets say 40 people working on MxO and each get about $60,000 a year salary.  That would be  $2,400,000 a year.  And since MxO has about $450,000/month and times 12 that is $5,400,000 a year.  I don't know how many people are on the MxO team, but if there is/were 40 people working on MxO, I would like to know where the extra $3,000,000 goes?  And if the servers cost $1 Million a year that still leaves $2 Million left.  I just would really like to see SOE's budget and what money is being spent on, because obviously it isn't spent on Forums/Website Updates/Or Expanding Current staff on games.  (I remember when we had a Live Event Team SMILEY  ) 

    But to end it all, I still think SOE is a good company, but it just has to many flaws.  I remember back in Monolith days when SOE was going to buy MxO.  I was like "I love the idea that SOE bought the game, then maybe the team will get bigger since it is SONY.  And I think this will be a great change for MxO to have since SOE sounds like a promising company.".  So please still make this a true statement, because the road we are heading on just keeps getting bumpier and bumpier and I am just seeing a river ahead with no bridge.  So to anyone who reads this please take my concern in thought, I hope that SOE will read my message which is just my own opinions.

I would like to bring attention to the community about my idea about the weather.  I personally would love to see lightning in game.  There already is animation for lightning, so I would like to see if the game designers could put in random white streaks of lightning in game when it storms.  I would think this would bring back the Revolutions feel back.

 

I really, really wish that this would be tested or something.  I personally thing this would look sweet.

It has been almost 1 1/2 years for all of us playing MxO. 
 
But I have come here to say something.  We need to find a new PvP area.  Mara C has been good to us, but it is time to expand in the Matrix, I personally love Downtown.  We owe it up to the designers to fight in all districts of the Matrix and not just in Richland.  I want to fight on high building tops, and see great lights such as those in Historic District.
 
So I am asking, how many here want to break away from Mara C and go to other areas in the MegaCity?

I currently tried Dev. Fielding Sleepers in Vauxton and I clearly out rolled them in the system chat, yet they did not appear to have any damage against them.  I tried this many times with the same outcome.  I do believe Dev. Field may be bugged, I will /bug it sometime, but I was just wondering if anyone else found this out to be true?

Anyways, I think we should be able to e-mail items by a satellite dish, since we can upload items, we should be able to send items out to other people with the help of a satellite dish.

I think this would be great if there was 2 server restarts per week.  The lag would be extremely low, thus making the game more enjoyable and reliable.

I want the roll out bugs to be fixed.  I love MA, but it is completely destroyed in my opinion.

 

Here is something which "bug"s me. 

 

1.  I break the shield of a red or NPC.

2.  I click the close combat button (-) or the GUI.

3.  I punch the hostile once, or the hostile blocks my punch.

4A.  They roll out with out anything showen on the combat hud (the evade icon does not even show up and they still roll).

 

or

 

4B.  I am fighting the hostile in combat, then the escape Icon shows up, yet I out roll them showen by the combat hud, still they roll out.

 

5.  They hyper jump away leaving MA a design flaw in the game.

I would like to consider that the developers put in a "/email" command.  I know it is nothing new, or exciting, but I like using /commands better than clicking.

 

I would also like it if the developers thought of a "/feedback" command.  With this command, a window pops up, just like a /ccr or /bug window.  But the feedback submitted text goes directly to developers who read over and review the feedback, so that in the future they may consider using our advise to make the game better.  The /bug and /ccr (ticket) system is so screwed up the way it is, I believe it would be easier if they re-did it where feedback goes directly to the developers, and not to a CSR where they only help out in game, and not the future outcome of the game.  I want our feedback to go to the developers which will determine the future of this game, and not a CSR that can only help if I am stuck or if there is a player violating the code of conducts.

I recently was told to post a topic here, after /ccr'ing this feedback so I might as well get others to read what I put. 

I thought of having a feedback command when you go /ccr and you can choose between "Bug" or "Ticket".  My idea was that to have a third choice and that was "Feedback".  This "Feedback" choice sends it directly to the correct people who read the feedback.  Ever since who knows, who gets what /ccr's.  For all I know I could be sending Feedback to a Server Engineer and he would redirect my post to the a person who doesn't read feedback and he/she redirects it to another person... etc.  But I think they should make the /ccr command more organized where Feedback will be DIRECTLY sent to the right person, instead of getting an automated message saying "Your feedback is important to us, unfortunately I do not handle customer feedback, but I will send it to the right authorities who do." 

 

I am getting sick of these automated replies.  I just want an option to send feedback directly to the correct developers, without having replies sent back to me saying they are being direct toward the right person.  I think this would make it much easier for the developers who deal with /ccr's.  It is getting to the point where they are not organized, it seems that the same person replies back to me, no matter what section I choose to comment back with.  I just want feedback to go DIRECTLY to people who will read it and go through it, instead of telling a CSR which has no really authority over the games development. 

 

I hope you all think kindly of my thoughts and agree with me.

Well, other than waiting another week Walrus, can you at least post up the Patch notes to which 37.5 had or what 38 will be about?  At least we deserve something rather than nothing... :smileysad:.

 

My intrest in this game is decreasing over every delay, and non-usable event items.  Ahhh let us hope in Combat Revision will be great for past Beta testers who deserve better/new content.

But my question is how can I CCR in something, when now it is only in game?  Can I go to a site which is directly connected with my MxO account?


Because I want to send in feedback or reporting in bugs which would not take but 2 seconds when it takes 2 minutes to start up the game.


So is there a way?

"Activity Facilitator Consumables
Activity Facilitator 1.0 and 2.0 are now available in game. These new consumable items can be activated at any time (even while stunned or pacified) and will clear all stun and pacify states. However, your immunity timer will be reduced by 1/2 at the time of activation.


  • Activity Facilitator 1.0 has a 15-minute cooldown timer.
  • Activity Facilitator 2.0 has a 10-minute cooldown timer.
  • Both consumables share a 10 minute family cool down timer."

Great item, at least you will have time to HJ away, but 10 minutes is kind of long.  Is there a way to make it like 3-5 minutes?  Non-hacker classes deserve a little quicker time.

I want to make a post to the developers, because CCR is not doing anything.  I want this bug fixed, when ever I dev field or use AOE which causes damage, then the bodies fall on one another.  I cannot search everyone because the bodies are preventing me from searching them, either make the search clickable area bigger, or make the Mission NPC bodies disappear once you loot them, like 10 seconds after.

Is Walrus the only one working on MxO?  Or don't they want to post there announcements.  It is kind of funny, I am starting to think that MxO only have 10 people on staff.
