I'm afraid so. The damage bonus is the only one I can test, as accuracy and all the other ones are a bit of luck anyway, but it definately doesn't change the viral damage points on the status tab or increase the damage done until its up to the next 5%.

It's very very annoying as this kinda makes all the +2/3 % clothes effectively useless. Maybe that's why Rarebit has been adding +4% itemes recently!

Just to point out, the system always rounds down to the next 5% bonus. So 84% viral damage bonus = 80% etc.

Sounds about right. Even with IS regen clothes, that combat state takes a big chunk out of your IS regen rate. Wearing IS regen clothes I could get to 6.2 out of combat and 3.3 in combat. That doesn't sound like a bug that you have there, it's how it's been for as long as I can remember.

That's probably from the stun of Pistol Aerial, seems to cause problems some of the time for the people in interlock to just stand there then roll out 4 seconds later.

I used to get 5 in interlock, before the latest patch.

I try to look at the combat style and way they are hitting/trying to hit visually. It's much easier to spot when you are stated, and with a bit of practice/learning the animations it's easy to see what combat tactic they are using instantly.

Or just assume everyone is on grab, because thats what most people use for some reason.

Since the last patch, IS regen has been buggered. I used to get 5 IS a tick whilst in combat, now, I only get 2 IS per tick.

Mkt seems alright v a zerg but nothing beats sniper. Healer/hackers tend to go down the easiest with just a couple of shots. Others you need to work a wee bit but still easy.

One thing i hate is 'noob' snipers. Doing 1k dmg with the shot then 600 dmg freefire while your MA and interlocked with one of the others in the zerg is annoying lol

One thing i have been seeing a bit more recently is haxs, especially DoT's. Stay away till the fightin happens, jump down, slam on 5 DoTs, jump away...

Having tried all the classes now...I find MA the most fun for pvp.

There is a way to easily beat people who use tactic switching, whilst also tactic switching yourself. Just think about what tactic people always switch to, use the anti tactic combined with a stun/powerless/blind/confuse ability, then do what you want.

But oh no! This means you have to let someone hit you first, oh well, I think it beats the random system of grab vs grab.

Has anyone else noticed a massive loss in population and activity since this patch came out? Last night, for the first time ever for me, at 0000 gmt, there were less than 25 people found when I did a /who. I've noticed there only being a maximum of about 10 people in my friends list online at a time. Considering i'm a stalker and like to know when pretty much everyone on syntax is logged on, thats pretty bad.
