I really think we are going to need to wait on updated drivers from Nvidia for this to get resolved(on another matter have you seen Nvidia's link. Report a bug with the NVIDIA's Windows Vista graphics driver.)  

Also just to confirm, is one of your glitches a shadowy "mask" on the character's faces?

I have a couple of things I want to try as a test; first completely uninstall Zone Alarm, I notice it is in your Startup Items and Running Tasks but not in your services.

If the lag does not go away, again only as a test;

First disable background programs:

1. Select the START button.

2. Select RUN.

3. Type in "msconfig" (without the "

4. Pres OK

5. Select the STARTUP tab.

6. Click on disable all. (If you are using Windows 98 or ME you will need to uncheck every thing but scan registry and systray)

7. Hit apply and then OK. Restart the computer 

After you restart:

1. Select the Start Button

2. Select Run.

3. Type in services.msc.

4. Press OK

5. In the Services window look for the line Internet Connection Firewall/ Internet Connection Sharing or Windows Internet Connection Firewall/ Internet Connection Sharing; right click and select stop if it is available.

6. Repeat for any references to Norton or Symantecs you see.

Please note, I am not suggesting that you play MXO with your system unprotected rather these steps are offered in order to help troubleshoot.

If those steps do not resolve your issue, please make a new msinfo.txt file and post the "Running Tasks" "Services" and "Startup Programs" sections from it.

You beat me to the punch on the power supply but to go back a bit more basic Zimmermann also be sure to look at what your mother board can support, after all if you only have an AGP slot the best PCI express card in the world is not going to help.

Since you were playing before I am willing to bet that a file in your MXO folder got corrupted somehow;

1.) Please delete all of the following files: client.dll, artpclnt.dll, binkw32.dll, msvcp71.dll, msvcr71.dll, patchw32.dll, autoexec.cfg, options.cfg, useropts.cfg,matrix.exe.

2.) Once those files are deleted, right-click on your Profiles folder and choose Rename.  Add a number to the end of the folder name (such as the number 1 to make the name profiles1). ***Please note that you will lose your User Interface settings, maps and hardlines- do NOT delete this folder or you cannot undo this change!***

Once complete, restart The Matrix Online game.  Toggle a Full System Check from the EULA screen then login.

Good point, for some reason all our uninstaller does is remove the registry setting for the particular game.

I unplugged my second HD and while I was in there I touched the video card and it burned my finger, so I went and grabbed a house fan and just stuck it right up next to my case with the side off, and that seems to have worked. I've since ordered a slot fan that should be here pretty soon. I haven't had any problems since, thanks so much Vedren and TSRBradG.

I would have to say if your video card was hot enough to burn, that is a pretty big clue; hopefully no permanent damge was done.

I really don't see anything here that I can suggest; it appears that you have the latest drivers for your video card as such I would roll back at the very least until new drivers are released by ATI.

Another thing I noticed, you have a lot of background programs running, although I usually suggest this for connection issues, in your case this may help in reducing your system's workload;
