Exactly. And if the big issue is, "Oh, those people who came in during that 4 day window are now going to get free partial Station Access for 2 months for their $14.99," please keep it. I might have actually re-activated my EQ2 account during those 2 months to see how things had changed, but at this point I'd really just like to have access to MxO until the end.

Sorry that I haven't been able to find it in these threads, but those of you (Archaeus, MetaLogic) who were told by TSR-Eryk N that your service would be restored, what method did you use to contact CS?

Excuse me?!?! SOE accepted my re-subscription on 5/31 and gave me access to MxO until this morning. That charge is still reflected in my payment history, and as far as I'm concerned, I *am* a current subscriber!! Except, of course, that SOE while happily taking my money is now refusing me access to a service I've paid for.

If this isn't on your priority list Raijinn, it really needs to get near the top of it *now*!

Mine was broken when I tried at 7:00 am EDT, still broken at 6:45 pm EDT. I resubbed on 5/31, and now there's no indication that I've ever had an MxO account.

Oh yeah SOE, this is *definitely* going to encourage me to try your other games.

Don't know if this is related, but I still get "You do not have this ability loaded" when trying to use Covering Fire with a gunslinger loadout (level 3 SMILEY

. Always get the error, but sometimes it fires anyway, and sometimes not. I didn't notice if I was in free-fire with my Lancet at the time or not...I'll have to check that.

FYI, I did see MxO timecards still on the shelf in the local Best Buy just this past Monday. Dave, if you can pass this along, hopefully it'll help.

Thank you so much for posting these! I was thinking about posting a message asking Walrus if the LET had any feedback concerning their experience during the event when I saw these. I was just curious as to whether they actually had fun, and if any favorite moments came to mind.

((Thanks for reminding me to read the storyline, Devol. One of those things I'd been meaning to do, but never got around to. What I was looking for [and could have *sworn* someone had written around the time of the merge] was the bullet points of "Who are the Masked, Cypherites, etc.?" and who are the publicly known RSI's of members of those groups, since I don't think they can be readily distinguished in game. I love helping folks out in game, but there are times when I need to know, "Whose side are you on, anyway?" [Not you specifically, "you" in general.]

I had also believed that Masked==Cypherite, and now I'm finding that isn't the case? For what it's worth...I found that I couldn't right-click on someone's chat text and add them, it would fail. But, if I did a /ca Username it worked. Hope that helps.

Personally, I'm not even noticing the ratings...I guess they're only a issue if you pay attention to that sort of thing. SMILEY

The biggest con to me is the inability to change your forum name. If I decide to start playing a new character on another server (or the same server, for that matter) I may not want posts related to that character showing up under DeetyMxo (or Deety, which I lost during the forum wipe [*please* help us get those back.]) If I decide to start another character on Syntax so as to get involved in the RP there, for example, it's very possible I wouldn't want there to be any ties from that character to Deety.

I'm assuming this problem exists on other SOE forums as well; anyone know how they deal with it there?

Nope...in my case I think it was bad timing when I converted my account. I had already registered "Deety" on the forum before they were ready to convert the accounts, and got caught in the bug when I tried to convert the account that no matter what I did (cookies, etc.) it just would not accept "Deety" as the forum name, so I had to go with DeetyMxO instead.

I figure I'll wait until the mad rush and problems are sorted and see if I can't get them to change it for me then.

Plus, if I start playing other characters on Syntax, or the other servers, I have yet to find *any* way to change my forum name. Kinda makes it tough to post if you want to keep completely independent characters. :/

While I'm ranting, how could they remove AIM without at he very least having *some* kind of group functionality available as a replacement? How am I supposed to manage 150 buddies in a single list? *grumble, grumble*
