I did the same exact thing when I was his age, except I was four. I took my mother's keys and started up the car. The only reason I didn't make it that far was that my feet couldn't reach the peddles. 

If this child is getting 6 miles down the road with only GTA as a reference, I say kudos to the parents for raising one resourceful kid who went as far as driving a car just to be on time for school. While someone should have been present at the bus stop with him, kids are curious. He probably would have tried it sooner or later, and that's no reason to bring child protective services into the picture.

Sub ends 01/17/09. MxO has become more of a distraction than a method of stress relief, and it's just time to cut my losses.

True. I just wanted to go to Vegas and meet some people. I had a bunch of fun, and I learned some interesting things. Example, Craint's a pretty cool guy in the real. In fact, everyone was pretty awesome at Fan Faire. If I'm going next year, it's mainly to hang out with the people rather than anything else.

anytime i've seen you as MKT, you root, try break sheild and do some pansy back flips and suplex...dont think i ever seen you break sheild to just straight IL someone.

dont get me wrong, you can IL someone and prob just do as well, but it kinda takes the fun out of trying to punt someone into the sky

It's all about priorities. If you can deal more damage from out of interlock compared to another class, then you stay out of interlock. If my teammate is a Hacker, another MKT, Rifleman, etc - I'll take point in interlock because it's more efficient.

 

There is nothing in the MKT doctrine that says that you have to jump, run, and play like a genuine pansy in order to get a kill.

who said anything about a MKT doctrine ya pie...all i said its the tactic i see most from MKT's. serious, some ppl take it waaaay to serious

As much as I wanted to see the original series implemented, I think this will be a decent movie on its own merit.

Fan Faire cannot possibly be nearly as entertaining unless it were to be held in Vegas again. The nature of the location allows us a lot more room to pick and choose forms of entertainment. There's always something to be done.

Also, I really don't want to be stuck in a convention center that is only servicing SOE customers. At least in a hotel there's some eye candy.

If your talking about /t I think that's a bad idea considering your talking about having almost every player at the event sending rare a tell every five minutes. If your talking about them just showing up on your buddy list in general I think that would be a pretty good idea and give most players a heads up on what going on.

There is an option in chat to not accept tells from anyone who isn't on your buddy list.

Exactly. I wouldn't want people to /t the in-game Character. However, the option to see them online would be nice. If these new meetings and Events are not going to consist of people having to find or be apart of a circle to get access to. I think it should infact be a requirement.

That's a very good idea. Since events will be done much less regularly, if an event isn't announced ahead of time, I think that character should be shown as online.

If I'm not mistaken, you're talking about this feature, right?

To the people that think the CQ system can be tricked:
PvE can be tricked too and yet we get loads of good rewards for farming it seems...
And actually PvP rewards make more sense since it's something you use to fight other players. I don't remember needing a particular item in order to fight a praticular NPC. Also if these awards should be implemented CQs must be reset.
