I know sims aren't widely used, so here's a couple of things that would (i reckon) make more people use it.

1) Remove proxy coder. Its very annoying to have someone macro load a proxy coder build, kill the sim, macro back to a main load and steamroll a proxy tech without a proxy.

2) More control on what sim spawns. Would make the loadout way quicker to set up, rather than spending 5 minutes trying to get the right sim. If speed, power and grab spawned a cycle of sims from a certain tree, i.e speed tactics spawns MA sims.

3) Lower IS cost of the aura's OR at least let the IS cost reduction bonus work on every cycle.

4) Having an extra button on the sim's control panel telling it to interlock, or shoot from range. Or if that isn't possible, have being on aggressive make the sim try to interlock, and defensive shoot from afar.

These ideas are all pretty simple, and would probably be easy enough to implement considering the size of the MXO team.

I logged in at about 0100z, and everyone was infected with the "Flame Virus", aswel as being flagged.

What was the cause of that?

Something else which i've forgotten.

Says it in the title. Its very annoying to be in IL with someone when my sim insists on shooting with a SMG or using logic barrage 1.0, code nuke 1.0 etc.

Simple enough fix, program the level 50 sims to only use the most damaging hacks.

I can log onto the launcher without any problems...

But when i select my character, then try to jack in, either nothing happens, or the launcher vanishes and then it returns to my desktop. My drivers are all up to date, directX is fine...only thing ive changed is laptops, this one has Vista.

Any ideas?

Dear Devs,

Please fix everything to do with NPCs. Let them use their abilities without interuption, stop them wondering around outside of mission areas, and the latest bug i've found is let debuffs actually debuff them!

I've noticed that NPCs are no longer able to hack. They start casting, then just before they finish the cast they use free fire, interupting the ability. This goes the same for nuker sims aswel.

Wasn't sure where to put this so it gets noticed, so i just put it here, feel free to move it if there is a more suiting forum!

I can sign in on the launcher, select character, then when i click accept, it goes to a black screen, some music plays for a couple of seconds then im back at my desktop.

I can't figure out what on earth is going on, seeing as this has never happened before, and it was working perfectly fine 12 hours ago.

Any ideas?

Can i please change my forum name to Mashoe!?!

I was thinking today about interlock and CR2, and how its become who has the most luck with spamming specials. I know that each tactic counters another, but there is still a huge element of luck in this.

So my thoughts were, would it be good to make a tactic lose a role 80% of the time when it is being used against its counter tactic? I thought this could allow more player ability and timing to be a factor in fights...

Your thoughts?

I remember in CR1 that using a duelist build, i could beat people only using very few specials, and just going for the states + high damage moves. This is what i find annoying about CR2, someone who sits on grab and spams specials can beat someone who is using the counter combat tactic, and going for the state for that big move.

Lets say i was in a fight using speed, and the opponent then switches to grab. Depending on how quick i would notice, id switch to power, then same goes for them, when they notice they can switch to speed. By making each tactic influence the fight more, it would be way more tactical in which tactic you use, when to use them, and trying to disguise what tactic you will use next.

When i use Logic bomb in IL, i dont get the normal squat and thrust animation for hackers, i get the silver bullet one.

I know there is no animator, but wouldnt this be easy to fix as the two different animations would just need switching?

The amount of times ive invited people to my team or crew by mistake is quite disturbing.

Isnt the simple "right click and invite to team" easy enough?

Although i know how brilliant the forum search is *cough*, I would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction for Merv factions. I'm interested in PvP, RP, everything really!

As i've only just started playing (again), i'm still a fairly low level, so any factions that enjoy powerleveling there members, or with members that still need to level themselves would be even better!

Just curious, how do i cancel my account? I have looked on the account pages, and got the page where it says all my account details, however there is nowhere to click to cancel my subscription.

Anyone else had this issue, and will i have to phone SOE to stop them taking money from me?
