I resubbed my account some time ago but never really logged on until today (holiday event peaked my interest)

I remember that this being a hostile server you have the people who insult you for no reason, but that used to be a minority. Most people took a death a moved on. It seems that today was...different. It seems people are allergic to recon now or something because if you win a fight you are the most despicable person on the game. For instance I am going around trying to get back settled with the combat system when someone attempts to break my shield near a HL, at first i was going to keep on my original course but i decided why not. I fight the guy, we both get to about half life, when out of no where i get "OMG noob, i have DE and no buffs and i am still outrolling you" My response "Your point". I end up winning the fight and i give the customary "GF" and bgin to head out. but not before i get one last noob thrown at me. Now normally i would chalk this up to some bitter kid who bit off more than they could chew but then as i decided to go to mara for some PvP, it seems everyone it on that type of vibe now. It didnt matter if i lost or won the fight it was all the same. Noob, you suck, pitiful CQ count, etc. My question to Vector is when did this become the norm? What happened to stuff like that being reserved to the jerks on the server everyone knew would say something like that? Or was this simply an off day I had and people just seemed to be in a bitter mood?

First off if you are so unsatisfied with a product as a consumer you have the option to stop paying and from the way you keep whining in other threads it is about to for you to excersice that option. If you don't then you chose to pay for what you are getting.

O and about WoW, either stop lying or talk to you cousin a little more, in the time ive been playing during every patch they have to extend the given maintenance time by hours, and after the patch they have to randomly close servers to fix bugs that were created after the patch. So yea WoW has it's own issues, but its the demon that haunts ALL mmo's. Grow up, get over it, and keep it moving.

Ok calm down there skipper...wasn't specifically calling you a dumbass, imo anyone who buys the first batch of ps3 or the 360 for that matter didn't make a wise choice (see my original post for reasoning). amazing you missed the part about you being a smart person for selling one on ebay. Selective reading i guess

Selling one = smart move
Keeping one of the 1st batch to come out = dumbass, to leave the matrix for the ps3 right now is just leaving one buggy system for another. Do yourself a favor sell both of them, laugh when there is a recall do to something get a ps3 after a few months when sony releases bug free ones

I doubt he is actually dead, it doesnt seem like they would end the Anome saga like that, love the cinematic though

2 of my gripes with the no arguments i saw:

1) The "I earned it" statement is...over exaggerated. with the exception if the assassin mask, all you had to do to "earn" any of the special items was to simply log in during certain times...that is all. Not any work involved

2) "While we're at it, just give everyone amber rings, Assassin Masks, Zion Hardware Requisitions (or the equivalent), Neo's Insight, and an assortment of RSI frags."

Neo's Insight and Frags- linked to logging in during the Shapers event
Assassin mask- reward for landing killing blow on Assassin
Zion Hardware Requisition or Org equivalent-....actually i don't remember what we got this for

Mobius Code- A thank you for nothing more than sticking with SOE during the transition or for new comers, choosing to play MxO

So why not give Mobius to everyone since in essence they to chose to play MxO, same as the trial players. It will take the devs to allow all players not just newcomers to use the /claim command, which i cant forsee it taking to much of their time. O and for Zion Hardware Requisition why i would say no to giving it to everyone is simply because it it not currently being given to new comers so it sticks to the for veterans only theme

as for the pill idea.....I am Lazaros and I approve this idea
