I had removed myself from active duty in this war against the machines. But the "itch" was too strong. I couldn't live with myself everyday knowing that the true terrorists were still out there supporting those who have enslaved mankind.

So i decided to come back, fight the good fight and finally sleep comfortable at night with a clean conscious and relief for that itch that once kept me up.

I look forward to seeing you all in the field, all of you including those whose death will bring much joy to this veteran’s heart.

As erotic and eye catching as the matrix is displayed in the movies, The game as considerably toned down, heck guys can't even wear boxers and the females are left with what I easily consider granny panties.

So as entertaining and visually innovative a Matrix style porn would be, the idea would not go over well with the mods on this boards and there is also the whole limitation of positioning characters in-game.

The only solution would be lots of editing and more of a suggestive porn style since nudity is also restricted.

Besides animated porn is weird...then again to each his/her own.

A lot fo you I respect for giving your honest opinions even though most of you have lost any interest in making this game better and have accepted it's reality.

 DOn't get me wrong, I often loos al interest and consider this game a lost cause. But then I look around and non of the other mmo's out there feel right, so I jump back and analyze all the faults of this game it's lack of DEV support (although rarebit has lots to deal with) I figure even with our limited staff we could have done more by now.

i realize no one beyond Walrus reads any of this BS we type here, but I never said "I hope the guy in charge of SOE is reading this because i'm very mad..grrr we need more funding"   No I didn't.  All I asked was for the support of those who think we should be getting more money spent on this game.

No one can battle WoW it's like starbucks it's taking over the world (if it hasn't already) I'm sure the new expansion feeds demonic messeges hidden into it's cheesy graphics to compel players to keep logging in...or buying accounts on ebay for hundreds of dollars.

Of course rarebit will not get into details and instead give some lighthearted remarks, it's his job on the line.  Go ask your boss for a raise depending on his attitide he'll either laugh at you, fire you or give you the raise....I take it Rarebit loves his job. Not to mention i'm sure he would love to have a full LET some more DEVS and of coruse a few more hot interns.

But i give up, it seems 90% of you don't care and/or are satisfied and won't ask for more, you will all be fully convinced that MXO will not be seeing more cash or staff..it seems you have all given up as well

You didnt get the point i was making, SOE wont fund us anymore than we have.

Rarebit does an amazing job, as does Walrus etc. If anything changed now we could lose the consistancy we have got already..we know when new criticials come out, when a patch is etc. Agreed a patch could be quickly with more people working on it. But as i said SOE arnt gonna give us those people.

My intentions were not to flame anybody, I made this thread with full intention on getting community support in making a request to SOE to increase the funding were getting.

The point is simple, now is the chance.how many countless threads havn't been opened regarding "if SOE gave us more money" yet the answer always came down to..They don't have more or would rather spend it on other projects.

Well heres a reasonable opportunity to make such a request, but of course taking into consideration that the current station subscribers don't flip out with the new rate increase.

Firstly, the only reason it went up is because of Vangaurd...the so called World of Warcraft "killer".  And, being here for a while, I'm going to side with HostileIntention.  We are lucky they haven't shut down the game, as I've seen some communities with the (perspective) same amount of people as us close.

 Perhaps, instead of finding a scapegoat to bring this cliche discussion up (believe me, I hate how things are too), you should actually listen to what people say and not insult them when they disagree.  If you don't respect other people's opinion, why should we bother with yours?

I think what they meant is that they are happy we have the Devs we do, considering our subscriber numbers.

Consider this....We have lost soo many players to due 1.SOE fired the entire LET  2.They have stripped MXO of funding and staff and 3.No marketing (wich goes back to funding)

So if our player base can be related to anything it's directly linked to how much money is invested in this game.

We all know you have like 3 characters in each server and your first in-line at every single event regardless of org. So as i was writing my original thread I knew you would come in and say something stupid like that.

My post was reasonable specially considering Sony will be getting more money. But I realize the fanboy in you had to come and defend those who treat you well.

So I hear that the SOE station pass will be going up in price to around $30USD Yes you get access to a bunch of games, most of wich are utter crap, some were very good though like SWG and MXO..lol

 I say we band together and request more funding for MXO, mainly in the form of staff...SOme DEVS would be nice 1 or 2 people as aprt of a small but dedicated LET.

It is very simple many months ago before cyphs and EPN existed there was already word spreading through the servers that new orgs were in the process of being released, no one new for sure their names or what org would get a splinter org, but we figured each of the main 3 would get one...

But only machines and zion got one. it's very simple some zionists don't like EPN but still participate in their events.

Some machines don't like Cyphs but I imgine they participate and well vice-versa for both orgs.

All you humans who have decided to serve the machines will one day realize that your employers are only using you to scare off those who have chosen the path of freedom.  To some fo you it is about The truce, others about stability but I beleive that if you were soo concerned about this balance you would take the blue pill and return to your"hapy place" in the safety of a pod and allow us to deal with the machines directly and let those humans whop want to be free to do so.

Point is if you really love the matrix soo much why remain a red pill? Go speak with a gentlemen that goes by the name of Cryptos he will show you how to "fix" your precious dream world.  Then well add you to our DO NOT AWAKEN list.

 But yes the Machines expiremented and tried MANY ways to produce engergy for them sleves. And the salavageing of the human body was the best answer to tha problem.

Of course machines were designed to stop working without the power source of the sun..It is a fail safe system. Do you not enjoy the safety in knowing that if your PC was to never shut off on it's own that you have several ways to turn it off, including pulling the plug?

After what the humans did to thier own world and how they tried to destroy the machines in the war, how can you blame them for takeing the path they did. How dare you blame someone for trying to survive. 

Lets get one thing clear, "someone" is you,me and anybody else that lives and breathes, even those in the deepest of comma's, but no machine is a "someone" they are after all machines Do you formally call an ATM machine Miss? or Mrs? I thought so.

Your argument still is surrounded by a dillusional thought that these machines care about you somehow when we all know that if they really understood what caring was, they would never have kept us in these pods. Also anybody that truly cares is capable of giving their own life in exchange for another .

Never seen a machine do that, nor will I ever.

You need to realize that humans would have never been put in this situation if it werent for the machines and their selfish need for energy.

If AI is so great and men endowed these machines with our spirit as you say, wouldn't they have experimented with other methods to gather energy.

 But of course it is easier to farm humans and feed them their own dead to use them as personal power plants.

Yeah humans had a need, they needed to work less and make their lives easier...and through the centuries we experimented with all sorts of tools and even today machines are a tool created by man to work for us.

So in principle it is wrong to defend the machines, as they are no better or greater than any appliance made to facilitate life for humans.

You know something everyone is caught up defending their own views and pointing fingers to the other side. But the truth of the matter is Machines as a whole have turned mankind into slaves regardless of their "good intentions".

At this point putting aside any and all affiliation with zion,mero,cyph or epn  at the end of the day we are all human

And for that reason we must put aside those loyalties we have made and think about the bigger picture.

Is our current reality what we want for humanity? Is it in the best interest of humanity?

Again forget about your loyalties and your tranperent hate/love towards one another and embrace the bigger picture.

 Are we as humans going to allow our own creation to bring us to our knees for an indefinite amount of time?

You can consider me the person who is aware that after all this damage has been done by either side we can never peacefully coexist.

I have surpassed the lie that many still beleive in,  To even attempt such things will bring us more casualties and further divide the human race.

We spend soo much time and energy defending a goal that is obviously flawed, maybe the machines have realized this before the zion council and those who follow their lead.

 I choose my own path, one that Neo firmly beleived in, until he realized it was too late and mankind was at the brink of destruction.

Much like the other saviour that we are all familiar with, Neo gave his life for both the good and the evil so they may carry on with a certain level of peace, basically delaying the inevitable destruction of both worlds.

But again this was only a delay, in hopes that many more could be saved from the system, before his second comming..were he will spread justice amongst those left...
