Hello everyone, most of you don't know who i am, but for the few who do i thought it was time i finally came out of character. The Matrix is ending and i guess that means Barnsley story is over too.

Anyone who followed the exploits of Barnsley the failed Agent's trials and tribulations to achieve reinstation as a System Agent will no doubt be aware of this little thread http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/..._id=36300023479

where i bashed out little story comics showcasing Barnsley's day to day struggles whenever i had the opportunity (and although they are a little slapdash, it took alot of work to get them done, especially the flashback episodes) and i'd like to thank everyone who got involved in Barnsley's story and helped me have some fun RP.

There was more planned from Barnsley, infact my absence of late was due to levelling another character on Syntax (37 at the moment, but don't think he will get any further), Recursion's RP becoming harder and harder to find, though truth be told finding people to RP with Barnsley was always a struggle for the most part due to the nature of the character, but i think i found some fun ways to incorporate it into his story ('Note to self: Stop seeking assistance at Mara Central' for instance). But now with the end approaching i don't think anymore Barnsley stories will be told, and him finding a sort of peace as a self made Simulation Agent is as good a place as any to leave it.

But for anyone interested, i'd thought i'd share a rough first draft of the introduction story for the Syntax character i created and give a little back story for how he got there.

- Firstly Barnsley after an attempted deletion had a sort of nervous breakdown and then exploded. He was then reassambled by his stoner hippie coder friend Quota, who stated he had reassembled about 90% of Barnsley's code (This was mostly just to show how sort of inept Quota was also, but the idea that there was 10% of Barnsley's code floating about somewhere opened up some ideas).

- Barnsley then decides to embrace life as an Exile, the System having turned it's back on him, and protecting the Simulation, not the System (probably is little difference to be honest, but Barnsley is kind of an idiot).

-Barnsley then discovers that he has infact reached his dream thanks to his tramp program friend Norton and names himself Agent Barnsley once more (This is where the story ends).

- However, the missing 10% of Barnsley's code was to be discovered by Quota and Barnsley wanting it back tells him to reinsert it into him (despite Quota's misgivings about reinserting a peice of damaged code that has been floating about on it's own for several months) which he does.

- The code would then start to affect Barnsley negatively, making him angrier at the System due to this code's last memories of the machines attempting to delete it (This was planned before the Smith event, which was totally not planned, so some of the same ground was covered) and attempting to destroy it.

- With Qu0ta's help he would expell it, and they would both asume it was destroyed for good. But infact it would have escaped into the subway system...

So there you go, hope you enjoyed Barnsley's antics, i certainly did, and apologies for not getting onto Vector and Syntax enough, and big thank you to everyone who took part, especially Tranque (who gave me so much material -  and i did laugh at the accusations that i was Tranque, that would be way too much duel clienting for anyone to handle) and Engrailed who became big characters in Barnsley's life.

Greetings Operatives.

You will be pleased to know i have made some progress on the location of our terrorist. On one of my usual sweeps of the Tabor area investigating the appearance of a strange, suspisciously mute cat (possibly a terrorist, i have yet to uncover it's motives) i came across a Merovingian Operative by the name of Navron.

Claiming to be an enemy of Tranque, the Merovingian told me that he had arranged a Cypherite attack on his ship, and that the terrorist had come off rather badly indeed. Good news i am sure you will agree, however, stopping Tranque should never be left in the hands of Merovingian Operatives, the thought that they would be able to accomplish such a task boggles the mind (Also this story could very well be some sort of trap).

Questioning Mr. Navron on the current location of the terrorist, he appeared to have what can only be described as some of stroke, talking a strange jibberish i could only assume was French (However my translator MEDIATORUS informed me that this was not the case). The only thing i was able to obtain from him after his bizzare transformation was the word 'Dawg' and 'Rogers Way', leading me to believe that Tranque is hiding out there.

So i ask all Operatives to start scouring Rogers Way immediatly, fortunatly due to circumstances i will not go into just now, i have expert knowledge of that area and will soon dig out our rat in no time.

Greetings Operatives.

A new development has come up in my investigation of the whereabouts of the terrorist know as Tranque. My Simulacrum ran into two men in the Tabor Park area, both who i believe know more about the target than the both let on.

One of the men, a Merovingian Operative himself and going by the name Carradine, seems rather protective of Tranque, reffering to him as the 'doc' although stating that he has never met him, i believe otherwise. He also informed me that an associate of his, The Voodooist, who has gone missing was last seen with the terrorist (leading me to believe that Tranque has continued his murderous ways and disposed of him also).

The other man, is a Zionite Operative, very aggressive and secretive, he refused to reveal his name (as did any of the other Operatives in the area, even the Machine ones. With any luck they too will be made an example of in the near future). His suspicious behaviour, leads me to believe that he is some way involved with Tranque, perhaps even a member of his cell. Either way it is of the most importance that we get information on him at once.

Any information you can find on these two men may be of the upmost importance, so use all your skills to follow, interrogate and investigate to get to the bottom of their connection with this threat against the system.

Greetings again Operatives.

I am sending this transmission to inform you that i have just created a Simulacrum on the Vector instance to widen my search for the terrorists. I have so far come across a loyal Machine Operative by the name of OooRoyooO, an unknown Zion Operative, and another Zion Operative by that name of Andriica, who is a little too critical of Former Agent's Simulacrums for my liking.

I have informed Mr. OooRoyooO to notify me of the names of loyal and trustworthy Machine Operatives, as well as any Merovingain Organizations who may be connected with Tranque's Terrorist cell. So far only one name has come up 'Dark Evolution'.

I am confident that this widened search will root out the terrorists and that my presence in the Vector instance will be benificial for the System as a whole.

I apoligise for any lack of updates, i was feeling...not quite myself. Needless to say, that has been dealt with, and i am now ready to continute our mission of protecting the stability of this System from Terrorist threats.

It seems however, that the terrorist designated Tranque has gone into hiding again after our last little meeting, but i am sure he will come crawling back out of the woodwork soon enough.

Until then, your mission now is to root out any Merovingian Terrorist that may be associated with him or his minions. Use whatever means you can, and remember these Exile lovers are liars and tricksters. Suspect everyone and trust no one...Well except for me...and eh, Agent Gray of course.

Greetings Operatives.

I recently recieved word from the terrorist Tranque, obviously overcome with fear over our aggressive methods of apprehension, he arranged a meeting with me in a dank Richland club.

True to character he did not meet me alone, and made several pathetic attempts to bargain with me in favour of his release, even resorting to blackmail and barefaced lies. I however, was having none of his trickery, i am a Former Agent of the System after all.

Unfortunatly...although, the situation was completly under my control...and i was at any moment about to apprehend the terrorist and his little gang...eh, something...something rather important came up (Entirely unrelated to my shoes) and i had to leave immediatly. Otherwise i can assure you, they would be at this moment currently rotting in a cell in the Machine Stronghold (I can't stress, how utterly important this, eh...this thing that came up really was).

So Operatives of the System, now is the time to strike. The Merovingian and his friends are becoming desperate and their end is near. With your vigilance and hard work we can take down the terrorist known as TranqueThePhilosophe and bring order back to the Simulation.

The RSI Capture Device Strategy i devised was eh...a..a roaring success. Yesterday i was able to easily infilltrate the highest ranks of the target's terrorist cell and gain access to the Merovingian's private construct.

That being said....and eh, the Operation was a huge success i assure you...perhaps it best that we not use the RSI Capture Devices in future, for eh...unspecified reasons....

I will not go into the Operation in too much detail, needless to say i gained valuable information and taught those Merovingians a costly lesson. However, Operatives designated: Kreis, Akunin, Noxton and LiMinou have been identified and verified as High Ranking Lieutenants of the target and are to be considered hostile and to be dealt with with extreme prejudice.

It's only a matter of time now Operatives, good luck and remember the System is counting on you to apprehend their leader.

Greetings again Operatives, reports have indicated that target: Tranque has come out of hiding, although i have as of yet to come across him in the Simulation and it seems that the rest of you dedicated Machine Operatives are having the same trouble also. I believe the reason for this is quite simple, fear. The Merovingian Terrorist is afraid of us just like the Exiles he protects and is hiding away with the rest of his kind out of terror.

That is why after a conversation with two Operatives on the Syntax instance, two dedicated followers of the System, Tekee and Gien i have thought of a new approach. It seems the only way to get to Tranque is using infiltration techniques, fool him into believing that we are infact one of his precious exiles.

The Operative Gien supplied me with some startling new technology, the RSI Capture Device. I strongly suggest Operatives make use of this new tool and quickly bring this Merovingian to justice. And although many of you will no doubt be disgusted by the notion of swapping your regulation System shirt and tie, i assure you it is for the greater good.

Greeting Operatives, it appears the criminal Tranque has gone into hiding. Fortunatly i have learned that he has been moving between Instances frequently and have sent a Simulacrum to the Syntax Instance to catch him.

I have since learned that he has indeed been spotted around the area known as Tabor West, one Machine Operative by the name of Ripin4 even assisted him onto a train if you can believe such a thing. Other Machine Operatives i have encountered have been equally unhelpful...i am not sure where they getting these people but it is lucky i am around.

However i have just made contact with an Operative known as xWarAngelx who seems to appreciate working for the good of the System and has assured me of her help. Hopefully more Machine Operatives of her kind will come forward to bring this terrorist to justice.

Greetings Machine Operatives, this is (former) Agent Barnsley requesting assistance with a matter of most importance, the apprehension of a dangerous and crazed Merovingian Operative known as Tranque Bourdeaux (Aka TranqueThePhilosope) for the killing of an Agent of this System and for implicating a former Agent in said killing.

Unfourtunatly i can not apprehend him alone as he is sneaky and has many bodyguards. And as the Machinst Operatives of the Recursion Instance (a new concept i haven't quite gotten my head round yet) seem to have all taken a long hiatus, i am requesting that Operatives from all Instances help me in the apprehension of this criminal and any of his associates who stand in the way.

Any Operative assisting will be looked upon highly by both myself and Agent Gray (if i can ever get hold of him) and any code captures or reports of your progress can be placed here.
