  I have put a post up that if you get account or character in use error. You need to PM me your station name, server, character and last 4 of the card for verification. Just a reminder please remember that I am only in the office monday through friday from 10:00 AM PST to 7:00 PM PST. I do try to get this fixed as quickly as I can though when I do receive a PM.

  Also if you have a problem with being locked out and can send me a PM I can usually get your account unlocked very quickly. Just know that I am only in the office Monday through Friday between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm PST.

  When you are in your account area, go to Payment sources and you should be able to add/remove any stored credit card information you want. You can also add additional cards if you so desire. Hope this helps.

  Before changing your drivers, make sure that your card is supported for our game, and that you have the most up-to-date drivers for it. You may find Supported Cards and Drivers information using the links below:

Once you have downloaded the newest drivers to a location you will remember (such as the Desktop), you need to remove your current drivers.

Before installing new Video drivers, regardless of Make, Manufacturer, or Model # of card, you should always uninstall the drivers you are using currently before updating to the new drivers. Click on Start, click on Settings, click on Control Panel, and then click on Add/Remove programs (for Vista, it's Start, then Control Panel, and either Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features). Your Video card drivers should be listed, and this is where you should uninstall them (just click on the driver and click the Change/Remove button)

  A little more information about the 403 error people are seeing. Due to some IP restrictions we are getting reports of this affecting people. I understand this has affected some of our regular customer's with not being able to get to their subscription pages or any other page that requires the use of billing information. This is not a permanent thing and we are working on how to address these issues properly. You should still be able to use our email support by going to http://station.sony.com/kb and clicking on the email tab on that page. I really do apologize about the difficulties that you all may be experiencing with the billing pages. Unfortunately I really don't know yet when we will have a more permanent solution in place, but will do my best to post something when we know more.

We are looking to track this more so if you are getting the 403 error please PM with your station name, IP address, ISP provider and location.

  Another possible fix is to right click on the desktop icon for MXO and select run as administrator.

  Yes this should restore your chat box settings since it is the configuration settings file. So by removing it you will lose the hotbar and macros but it will reset your chat box.

  The only place to have this addressed is to use the petition system, /ccr to contact the GM's. Unfortunately we do not have the ability to locate anything here in-game as this is for technical support.

  I would also suggest if you are using any firewall or connect through a router that you make sure the following ports are accessible for the game client:

In order for the game servers to communicate with your game client reliably, firewalls and routers may need to be configured to allow traffic on TCP ports 80, 5190, 11000, and 10000. It will also need to allow the program to communicate on UDP ports 10000 and 11000.

  You may want to make the following changes in your Matrix Online directory (usually locate at C:\Program Files\Monolith Productions\The Matrix Online or C:\Program Files\Sony\The Matrix Online\):

1.) Please delete all of the following files: client.dll, artpclnt.dll, binkw32.dll, msvcp71.dll, msvcr71.dll, patchw32.dll, autoexec.cfg, options.cfg, useropts.cfg,matrix.exe.
2.) Once those files are deleted, right-click on your Profiles folder and choose “Rename”.  Add a number to the end of the folder name (such as the number 1 to make the name “profiles1”). ***Please note that you will lose your User Interface settings, maps and hardlines- do NOT delete this folder or you cannot undo this change!***

Once complete, restart The Matrix Online game.  Toggle a Full System Check from the EULA screen then login.

This may or may not fix your issue. If it doesn't you will want to contact our in-game support. If you have an in game problem, please use the /ccr command to contact an in game CSR.  Unfortunately Technical Support cannot assist you with any in game issues.
