Well, thanks to some weird a**ed billing issue, I wasn't able to subscribe in time for the cut off, due to SOE not accepting my debit info...even though its exactly the same as listed on my bank, but all that aside, I managed to get 3 days of account activation time so I can at least post here.

I'm still stuck in Iraq, been here for over a month now, and it’s pretty whatever. Internet is super slow so I'm almost certain I will not be able to see the final days of this game I've played since Beta. I'd like to just say thanks to the friends I've made on here, helped pass the time and escape from reality when I was in high school. We had ups and downs, but I'd like to keep in touch with anybody that I might have ran around with for a little bit. I really wish that I could see the final days of mxo out but I'm sure there will be plenty of screenshots out there. I kind of had a feeling this would happen when I wrote my last, going away post, I said I'd come back if the game was still here...well...so much for that. I believe that things could have gone in a better direction had there been better upkeep. I'm not saying anything that I'm sure you all are well aware of or had already known, but this was the only mmo to ever keep my interest.

I had to submit multiple tickets and debate my way into some form of activation status, using the argument, what the hell does it matter now? The game is getting cancelled, might as well let those that have been around for a while see it out.

It’s been fun, I'll miss all the antics of the mxo recursion cast, all the accusations of sploits, and of course dodging of the banhammer, the past years were great up until recursion became a wasteland.

Anyways, all I really want to say is goodbye and it’s been fun. I loved this game back in the day, and I'll miss logging in periodically to see what’s new, but I just kind of lost interest in the storyline when it strayed away from what I was a fan of from The Matrix trilogies, to some random people doing random nonsense to the code, it was pretty repetitious...and I just couldn't feel any motivation to rp, because it was no different than a game about real life...except you know kung fu, can talk sh*t to people without getting your a** really whooped, can jump really high ...can't do anything, and trench coats, well people wear those in real life too, but yeah.

So, from Iraq, good bye, I hope since the code is being retained something will happen out of it, like, using it to construct a better matrix, something that goes back to what we started out with, picking up where the movies left off, something I'd want to come back to. Anyways, I've canceld my account...not for the first time, but possibly for the last time, I doubt I'll come back to mxo, you know with the leave of Rarebit and what not, it'll be come one of those games that justs exists, like...diablo.

Rules: The object is to survive and avoid being bitten and transformed into a zombie, this is a Free for all event, you are allowed to choose teams, however once a zombie its anything goes. No hyperjump, shadow, sneak, going indoors, or killing of the alpha zombie until the go ahead is given will be allowed, or you will be disqualified, you may however stun, root, and use hacks other than Vecter/Ravager, guns, and of course, hand to hand, sims will be allowed, but when they are zombies they must be deactivated. There will be a set arena at wich you must evade the zombies, you can use a shield.

Once you are bitten both zombie will roll out of combat and then hunt for more brains, the last person to remain human will win a grand prize, if once the go ahead is given to kill the alpha zombie wich will be me, I am killed, the killer receives a bonus prize along with a grandprize, but you cannot kill the alpha zombie once the go ahead is given. Disguises are not allowed for this event because they can cover the virus. After the event we will meet up with the syntaxians at TBA location for the halloween party wich more prizes, raremasks, info, items, and special magical things happen.

No need to apply for entry, just show up, there will be me and a few lords of war members that come in as zombies and attack the humans. You can run behind stuff, just, no hyperspeed, only speed enhancing clothing can be used. If there are any questions please feel free to ask, more updates will come along as they need to.

Zomg, look who it is!!! Just wanted to drop by and say hi...I still don't have a computer though, I'm just staying in an empty air force dorm, cold and shakeing without a PC...for me a pc is more than a personal computer, its a personal companion...and I miss it. Greetings redpills. I would like to take a moment to announce the return of a old machine faction, CyberHelix.

Unfortunately, a while ago, the origional faction just disappeared without a trace, mainly because of lack of assets that the leaders had. Well, origionally, the facton was dedicated to those who were not level 50, the leader was 43. And it is still dedicated to the lower level members of our community.

I have revived CyberHelix, and I would like to invite, anybody who is either just starting out, or is a low level and wants to have more of a impact on the community. If you are level 30 or below, and all you have to do in the game is grind until level 50, and you feel that you have a weak impact, if any, on the major events of the game, well, were here to help. We fight together, and grow together. All we ask is for your loyal service to the machines.

Now, before I receive any criticisim, which I'm sure I will, seeing how this is also used by Arandul, I would like to point out, Arandul is my brother. Us living in the same house, and sharing the same computer, and me being unemployed, rather pay for two accounts, since you are allowed 3 per server, we both use the same log in name, and I use this account in Recursion.

I am origionally from Syntax...and syntax is so boring I had to take a break and play starcraft for a while before returning to this game. Anyways, thats enough about me.

These questions plagued her as the darkness had before it. The question of how she was able to move His arm made her both curious and frightened. She wondered if she could do it again, or if she dared to.

She decided it was too much a risk to try it again, best she should concentrate on the face of the Other. So she drifted in the darkness, almost hypnotized by the symphonic rhythm of the voices which surrounded her as she brought the image of the Other’s face to the front of her mind and studied it.

Her concentration was so great she didn’t hear Him as He began calling. His voice was amalgamated with the melodic sounds which engulfed her. It was only when His voice grew impatient with a note of annoyance, she snapped out of the trance she was in.

Waiting to be chastised for not answering, or worse for the arm incident, she couldn’t answer, but only continued to wait. Then moments of clarity:

“…nothing that cannot be regenerated..." He said.

Puzzled by what he had said, she began to ask a question of Him, but before she had time to reply, His statement was instead met by another voice. A woman’s voice. The Woman’s voice.

"… talking about your body, my…" she heard the Woman’s voice say.

As soon as she heard the Woman’s voice she knew it belonged to the woman she had seen peering into the mirror before. The same Woman that she was positive she knew.

“…you truly return, knowing that…” His voice trailed off.

As the voices started to fade, she tried desperately to understand them, but they joined the countless others in the ocean of voices coming out from the darkness.

I have to know who they are, she thought to herself, Him, the Other and the Woman, I have to find a way… They are the only clue I have to who I am.

Hasn't been released since before the winter holiday. I need my news! Okay, just a idea, but how many people can vouch this.

Also many people have noticed, there has been a great increase in crashes. Well, I have drawn a conclusion that to the consistency of mine. I only crash when interlocked with a mission boss in the final phase, usually in only 3 stage missions where I can have good XP, but not on the crappy 2 phases.

The reason for posting this here? Well, just to have an answer to my curiosity, does this trend occur with anybody else, because this is pretty much what I narrowed it down to.

The ingame Halloween celebration and decorations and what not, as most will agree, has been extreamly fun, and it has given the players something to do, a chance to interact more, a chance to broaden rp horizions, and a chance to do what they cannot do normally. The darkness, JOL's, decorations, and general erieness of Mega CIty has been a huge hit among players across all servers, not to mention the large groups spawning at the JOL's fighting off the large pandora like spawns and also pvping while trying to survive these attacks.

What I am wondering is, is this just a one time deal to shut people up who are complaining about lack of content, or will SOE continue to give us new holiday content, for example on Christmas, have it snow in the matrix, and have little snowmen that spawn NCP's that drop special christmas gifts if you defeat the swarms. If there is debate on why christmas, combine Hannuka (however you spell it), and Kawanza and whatever in the matrix, but just give us something fun to do, and not keep it a one time thing for just halloween. And say on New Years have a ingame fireworks show at one of the bay areas, and give each redpill a item that is like, I donno a sparkler or something, snakes and sparklers rock!

But somebody get back with me if you can, because it will be a great idea for content, and will make things alot more fun. And the halloween ingame event has been a huge success, so just keep it fun for the other holidays.

I would like to thank SOE and all the administrators for giving us such a fun event, why end here? Even though I'm sure the concept has already been thought of by many, I just though I'd bring it out into the open. And also it'll provide some holiday spirit.

M'kay...I'm real bored right now...and like...yeah! I kinda got carried away, but I found walrus! I'm still looking for Waldo. I'm sure this isn't the real walrus, inface I'm positive, but eh, wth XD.
