Well, there are many things I want to say, however when it comes to finding how I wish I could say them, nothing seems right.  So, I'll just say that I'm more than thankful for the opportunity to work with some amazing people in LESIG, and while we couldn't get everything done we wanted it was a great experience and one I've learned much from.  Also to the Merovingians on Vector that openly accepted me, you always made it easy to want to log in, and try something new with the events we could.  I'll miss everything and everyone here, but hopefully we'll cross paths again in the future.

As far as I can tell, Recursion had the most right after the server merges because it merged with Method.  However, I think Syntax has the most since i've never seen its population as Low while Recursion and Vector sometimes are.

Roleplaying is still alive, although I've never gotten into it as much as I'd like to.  However, RP is definitely thriving with Liaisons.  Get in touch with these people according to your server and org.  They're 24/7 in character and they'll let you know when Live Events are going on, etc.

Keep your eyes out for parties and such because they're really fun and that's where you get to meet a lot of people. 

Also, be sure to do the Archive Missions to get brought back up to speed on the story.  It's HELLA confusing for new/returning players to understand what's going on.  There used to be story summeries on various websites that would get you up to speed really easily but I don't know of any anymore.  " width="15" height="15" />

It's true, the game is not as popular or populated as it was when it first started and when you played, but it's still here and a lot of vets are still around.

All true, get to know you're LESIG (the liasons) as they are a great source of information and the archive missions also result in some neat little bonus clothing/items even if they're a pain to get cause it takes so *CENSORED* long.  Any questions always ask, a lot of us that have been here for a while are usually more than willing to help with answers or a tour of some sort for a while.  Think there's a thread for people that have signed up for helping new players (guess also returning players to relearn?) somewhere in another thread.

While I might be on Recursion, Syntax is usually the most populated and is a pretty good RP scene from what I remember when I was there briefly, good people, and lots of fun.  Think they have more parties than Recursion and Vector combined too

Hmmm... I can understand what you mean about the unique item part.

But some people just get into a comfort zone with the class they know and love in duels, and won't duel outside them, like a bunch of the tournaments are.  I miss the old ones we used to have, King of the Hill, either a theme night (all one class) or open where you had to plan for anything to come against you.  I like trying to duel other classes as I am, think it makes you try to get better and do things differently than what you always do.

Now, that said Cappy, after seeing your post in the events, it makes sense doing it as you are.

No, but seriously, we are very strict when it comes to dealing with multiple RSI's. We do not allow our members to have the other 2 Recursion slots to be populated with other Organizations and Factions. So we never have problems with Collective leaking intel.

While Camon may not be as it was back then, it is still there.  You cannot take a leave and expect everything to be as it once was.  While RP on the server may have gone down in the last while, that does not mean it is dead, only harder to find, do not expect to pop out of a hardline and find some RP there, seek it out, talk to your contacts, who you know, to find it.  Personally, this is better than just knowing what "hardline" is RP and what "hardline" is pvp, it spreads it out more, and makes it harder for all involved to supposedly crash it.

01 is empty, expect at times people are farming, then it can explode quickly, and for /who, try downtown, most people might still be farming the new drops from the Data mining, or in Bathory for the corrupted drops.  Not saying your points aren't correct, but perhaps a bit exageratted.

Maybe I'd think differently if I had played other games, maybe exactly not.

MxO was my first online gaming experience.  Since then, I've tried numerous others, always to just leave and keep my sub open here.  Why?  I dunno, maybe because I love the story, the movies, and the game that much.  But one thing I've found here I never found in EQ2, Lineage 2, COV/COH, etc. was help, assistance, a friendly guide with advice (even if it was just in a conversation, not missioning).  That was something that kept me here, and once I received so much of it, I try to pass it on to others with the same questions.  Will I sit around, or run you through your first set of criticals?  Probably not, as they are a part of introducing you to the game and its mechanics, same as most games.  Will I try to answer your questions on attributes, stats, clothing, abilities and so on?  Of course.  If your going down the same path as myself, maybe I will run some of your crits (past the beginner) with you, or take you on for a couple, if you aren't, I'll call a friend and see if they can get someone to help you, there's lots of us here, I know that for sure.

 As much as people might complain about the community, or sometimes a lack of it, when it comes to this game, the majority of us just plain enjoy it, and love playing it.  That is something we can show to newcomers, and critics alike.

Do you feel the community, as a whole, needed to be informed that the Machines were changing their name?  The entire Recursion community needed to know that one little faction changed it's name?  Why, i don't recall The Endless making a big post on the Regression forums when they were born.  Or the Devil's Advocates.

Musu, most of us only have to read your replies, usually the first one, or very close to, on any of Gothique's post to see your disdain for her.  And some of your comments, while not blatant, are personal attacks on her.

As for posting the changing of the faction name, a faction just starting I would doubt would post a thread in General Discussion about, however this is not a new faction but an established one making the change.  Yes, you may not like it, but it does affect some people outside of our little circle.

If you don't want to sort through Gothique's BS, then don't, and if you do, and don't agree, fine, but don't be blatantly argumentative and post such on every thread she makes, or comments on.

For once man, just lay off it.  An announement was made, everyone knows, good for us, yeah!  No need to attack anyone.

For those against the name, it's a name that we want to reflect the faction, some friction seems to have been caused, which I am sure was not the intent.  Others against the 'unoriginality', I believe it has already been covered how many 'Zion' and 'Neo' factions currently exist, yet they receive little attention as we have come to accept it.  Does it not make sense for a machine faction to represent a part of it's infrastructure?

You hide behind his name, yet you follow the same path as Morpheus, not Neo.  You claim his body is rightfully yours, for no other reason than that he is human.  He is dead, be done with it, and accept it.  Neo fought and died for what he believed in.
Neo has been claimed as the first Machinist as well, could we not claim the same right to keep his remains then?  You would not hear of that, you keep you're ears and mind closed to reason, Neo did not do this.  You seek to destabilize the Matrix itself, you seek to destroy that which you're "savior" fought and died to save, so that you and all humanity may have a place.

So quickly many of you are to forget the things he did, and why.  Neo heeded many people's words, but probably none more so than the Oracles:

"I'm interested in one thing, Neo, the future.  And believe me, I know - the only way to get there, is together."

Neo fought for a future of machines AND zion, not one or the other.  If you would truly fight to continue on his name, do not continue you're attempts to destabilize the Matrix, rather follow his path and help us to maintain the precious balance it is in.

The path you have chosen is one of self righteousness, a path Morpheus lead for his own personal reasons.  You place shame on Neo's name, claiming it as your own.  I may be a machine, but I believe I do follow the path of Neo more truthfully than you, I am here upholding the truce that he set in place.
