I think it's doing quite well. After playing WoW for a couple of months, I find the attraction failing. MxO attracted my attention a lot more. Even when it was boring, I knew something might happen. I'll prolly just be back for a month though.

WOW. Great work DEVs. Nice job. I love seeing bug patches like that. You might've overworked a lil on this patch, but none-the-less its all good.
If any of you feel overworked on this patch, I can understand why. You should set a goal not to overload fixes all in one patch. Makes it easier for you and us... DLing wise that is.
GOOD JOB!

"The Bluepill is nothing more than a sleeping pill from a reputable company called Slumberil. Where is the Redpill made?" - Words that should've been spoken.
Since when did Zion recruit old men that could easily have a heart attack during the transistion? Anome, your tactics are careless and caused the termination of a bluepill. Either way, during the extraction or due to mental breakdown, he would not have survived the awakining process. The stress would've been too much for him.
Cypherites, even though your efforts were for a good cause, you should let humans decide for themselves. That is freedom of choice. Agents will stop important individuals from taking the pill if they deem it necessary for the bluepill population. Have faith in the system.

((WOOT!! My first event after my long bluepillish trip... hehe!! Took them forever to post it though.))
Agent Gray, it was an honor to fight alongside you. I thank you for welcoming me back.
Machinists, your work always astounds me. Keep it up.
Merovingian Operatives, you are wise to continue in the deletion of these rouge soldier programs. Your EMCP weapons seem to be very effective against the inferior soldier classes. We should negotiate a trade of sorts for the blueprints.
Zion splinter faction E Pluribus Neo, your actions against the truce are not authorized. Continue the path you are following and you will only find a dead end.
That is all.

signs aren't good for the DEVs or MODs... they consider it spamming and not contributing to the thread in any way.
I'm all for this idea, but when you post you must make sure that you talk about it a lil... like
"This would so help out my faction because we are in different time zones and no one is ever on from UK when I'm on in Hawaii."

yeah... sounds good.
But the legend status not being able to attack other low levels is... ugh. If you have some evil legend guy from Merv land and he cant kill anyone, what good is his legend status to anyone? If we had some uber hard bosses to kill along with all their minions, then I could see a benefit... but we dont have that.
Legendary status should be only something a player who's been with the game a year can get. And the player would have to pass some kind of rigorous test of both mind and skill, eliminate hordes of hostiles, and a CQ score (with a revised intelligent system) of over 3650 (10 kills a day) as well as a nice info amount to pay for the legendary training.
Incredibly difficult to acheive so that only like 5-10 legends would be known in a year... per server.
But that would be soooooooooooo hard to implement, I doubt they'll ever do it.
On another note, I had a dream I made MXO II... lol

Do you have the names of all the faction leaders in the game? When you have your event, you should contact people an hour before or whenever they come on to let them know your event is about to kick off. Then they'll tell others and a big wildfire of information will spread like that. Not very many people visit the forums dude... especially the events section. ummm... I might be a lil late on this recruitment thing... but G7G is still around. We're a predominately RP faction now. We always were really, but lately it has increased. Faction chat is normal, but during special large scale events, its all RP. Area chat is kept clean, but you can still provoke your enemies into battle.
Anywa, looking forward to reading what happened with ya.

Wonderful IDEA.... WOOT WUTE WOOT!!
DJFAHCORE wrote:
I want game to feel more matrixy & I love the randmon agent spawns ideas. I just dont want an actual meter to know agent awarness. I rather have to look around to see if any bluepills were around before HJing, than have the meter. HTe meter I think would ruin the chaance of people having no choice but run. If I had a meter I would never do anything w/ out checking it, hence I would never get capped by a random agent for HJing or crazy kung fu.
Everything mentioned minus the meter just so the unpredictable agent spawning would give a more matrixy feel other than watching a meter just to avoaid an agent.
On the other side maybe I missed it, but if there was crazy pvp at mara wouldnt like 20 agents just pop up and take us all out at once/ ruining pvp if a random blue pill walked by
Perfect reasoning to move the PvP somewhere else where it won't be detected by a witness. In effect, moving the PvP to a more secluded area also improves the probability that you won't fight in the same area all the time... ie. Mara.
And the agent-o-meter would just be something to help you detect whether or not a witness is watching you do something strange.

I think motorcycles would be ok. Cars would be too difficult to implement.
Anything you can envision a motorcycle doing, yeah... it should be worked on.
- The bikes themselves would cost mucho... somewhere in the millions. So you won't want to just destroy it for a quick CQ.
.
- They would have a damage meter that would detect when you run into obstacles and self destruct if it feels abused... so be careful.
.
- Press the jump key while riding and you'll backflip off and land while the the bike continues forward and destroys itself when it crashes, causing a moderate AOE attack to surrounding individuals along with a nice fireball effect.
.
- They would never run out of gas, like our guns never run out of ammo.
.
- The speed would be at 180% or at the max level of 160% for the server's sake.
.
- You could maneuver them at forward angles and backstepping for reverse.
.
- Acceleration through the forward key... slow -> high acceleration, depending on the bike you bought.
.
- Buy a bike from the market screen. DEVs will place a couple of never-ending bike accounts in there.
.
- The bike will spawn at some random location near the hardline you jack into. It will be waypointed and told to you by your operator.
.
- Dismount the bike by coming to a complete stop and pressing an assigned dismount key.
.
- Secure the bike by right clicking and locking it, or leave it open for someone else to ride.
.
- The DEVs will create ramps all over the city for extreme sportsters peopleses. =)
