computer science and doing an intern for the state transportation dept

Ok, before I go into detail.  I have not been that active the past few weeks.  Between finals for school and starting an internship on full time hours (with 2 hours of driving each day to boot) I have not had much free time.

However, last week I spent 3 days on various sites building together the computer I want to acutally start building next month...only to find out that Im loosing this.  Why?

I know subscriptions have gone down, but why not close 2 of the servers.  Hell close all 3 and restart with just 1 (so everyone would have to relevel), and just leave it on the station pass.

Sure, we wouldnt get any new updates.  Sure, any bugs floating around the system would stay there.  But if there arent new updates there shouldnt be any new bugs (I'd hope), and there'd be only one server to worry about instead of 3.  I've loved the time i've spent on here over the last (almost) 4 years and I dont want to loose that.  This was the first true multiplayer game I ever joined and its a shame that we have to loose it when there is still an active crowd wanting to be jacked in.

Ok, this isnt a question as to how to disable the code, I know how to do that.  I am wondering if it is possible to enable it to perminantly run while jacked in? I'd love to experience the matrix as if you were looking through Neo's eyes (not to mention the stories and vids you could make).  Anyone know how? or if it is even possible?

Well, I just found out I am getting a 15 month internship, so I plan to celebrate by buying a new tv (widescreen, hi def, ect) and purchasing my first blueray movie, getting the MXO collection.

there wasnt an actual pink ranger in ninja storm.  the closest was a dream sequence by marah, one of the comedic henchmen, in which a pink version of Tori's, the blue ranger, was made for about 2 seconds of screen time.

Seconded. I've been losing interest in the Oscars for the past few years, but if they do the right thing and give Heath the award (albeit posthumously), they'll have redeemed themselves in my eyes.

its a start, but no where near what is needed to redeem them in my eyes.  I mean, how can the movie that is the second highest grossing film of all time in the theaters (falling behind Titantic alone) not even fall in the category of "best motion picture" ?

Im not saying they would have to win it, but you would think it would atleast be there.  Three of the movies in that list I dont even recognize.

This is why I prefer awards such as "viewers choice awards", which, to me, actually lets the general population at large choose the canidates and winners.

I was going through some comic books earlier today and I noticed how a lot of them had MxO advertised on the back page.  Then I ended up finding a copy of the MxO magazine itself.  It was so weird reading it and seeing all the talk about it...the player spotlights, the district map, the information.

Did anyone else get any these? I only got that one.

I have been farming the override functions in Baldwin for a while, and I as anyone else who farms them knows, they like viral attacks.  This is where the problem is...

They started logic cannon 2.0, then ran to the other side of me.  after they get to the other side of me i get hit with logic cannon 2.0.  Correct me if Im wrong, but arent you required to stay still to deply that attack? Or are they not bound by that law being a NPC....just wondering.

The thing is, this isnt a "problem" that the devs would want to spend time to "fix".  The only 2 ways i could see them making hyperjump disabled would be to have it disabled if you are:

1.  flagged for pvp.  This wont happen though becuase vector itself would be disabled from using HJ.  Also, any constructs you enter would mean hj is disabled.

2.  "effects of combat"  This wont happen either.  How many times have you walked out of a hardline only to have a lvl 100 agent shoot you? Or how many times have you datamined and been hit by a spawn?  Both events put you in a "effect of combat" state, and yet both events need you to hyperjump away to avoid it.

I dont mind the people who try to roll out of IL and jump away to save themselves.  I mean, thats just common sense to me.  However, it is annoying to see the people who like to go into sneak and hit you with a quick punt before hyperjumping away and then coming back to try it again.  Quite frustrating when one minute you are standing there perfectly fine, the next moment, you get punted, half your health is gone, and suddenly 2 or 3 other members from other orgs have decided to flag as well.

the jeans will cost ya, but seriously, with the snowflakes, just run the holiday mission.  if after the second round of snow men you dont have 3 flakes, quit the mission and restart it.  once you have 3 flakes, finish the mission and you get 2 more for completing it.
