Also the dawning fact that for a skynet homebase, theres only 3 Terminators in its vast area of operations, only 3. What happened to those fantastic landscapes of Terminators in T2 combing the rubble for rebels? Oh wait no its just 2 wandering around and 80's Arnie hiding in steam room. Effects were top notch, story was absolute pants.

Still what more can you expect from the same directorial powerhouse that brought us Charlies Angels 1 and 2.

Not sure what these new breed of LESIG got, but back in 1.0 Rare refused to give us any spawn tools or any tools that would help our live events, he had to spawn them himself. If you LESIG 2.0-ers got spawn tools then you don't know your bleeding born!

I spent all night downloading the client from the official sony source, but now when I launch the client I get this:

Directory missing or insufficient privileges

Also another strange thing is I can't find MxO installed on any of my Harddrives, therefore this eliminates my ability to uninstall and reinstall. Any help would be bonzer. Cheers.

Ok, heres how you stop bitching and moaning about the lack of cinematics, and just get on with it. Recreate one of the pre-exhisting cinematics but in a new format. Take that bloody godawful wireframe bloke one coming out of ascensionfor example. Create a storyboard for shots, long shots wide shots, profile shots etc, plan plan plan.

Then film the in-game environments and put the raw footage into a composition program like AE. Get your crap together, get a great artist onboard to act as a mock animator, create moveable characters that can be easily positioned, create breakdown poses for each character, and basically sling it all together and show the dev team you can create something 10x as better than the original shower of *poop* they put out for the consumer.

End of.

What I can't even post some constructive advice without people thinking I'm badgering a newbie? Yeesh. Anyway I know what you mean about snapshot painting, once you get the flash of inspiration you go for it. Thats a good thing, just thought I'd give you a bit of advice like.

Brilliant paint work, but you could do with working on your character poses a lot more.

Using this piece as an example :

The characters lack energy, they just seem to be singular props on the white background with no life in them. Try and get a good line of action in your character construction. Take pace for example, the shoulders need to be more obvious, her right shoulder should be higher and more pronounced, and her left should be lower down. The same again for Agent Gray, his spine should be curved with a fluid line, and his right should should be dropped to show his reaction.

I'm trying some experimental stuff in AE to see if I can do it, involves 3d layers and some other crap. There easier ways of doing it, I just want to see if I can create 3d architecture within AE using image planes etc.
