Solution: Purple subways make a triangle... in the middle is a road. Just to the south of the middle is a hair dresser sign.

These are MY guesses on the near future of Mxo Regarding Server Outage, feel free to add your own.

1) Something in the patch really screwed things up and they will have to roll us all back to before the last patch.
    25% chance

2) Some *server* hardware issue that was unrecoverable and we will go back to last backup once they get a new machine up and running. (yesterday probably)
    75% chance

3) A *network* harware issue. Once fixed all is fine (not likely due to how long it has been)
    10% chance

4) Rarebit finally had it with us and paid a network guy to put a .45 or 2 in the server.
    68% chance

5) Walrus forgot to click the OK button on "Do you want MXO to keep running on the weekend? [OK/Cancel] Dialog box"
    85% chance

6) Some *server* hardware issue that was unrecoverable (but didn't affect the character database) and we will go back everything the way it was with free XP weekend or free beta clothes or some other such reward for our time.

One of the last crits Ghost says he thinks morpheus is trying to give us a location....

If you map out his appearences You see.. an "N" (neo)
You see two distincitve places it is pointing to...

One is probably nothing but the other points straight to Neo's RSI.

The machines say they left it there for us. But we have known them to be dishonest in the past....

Perhaps Neo's RSI there is morpheus' doing and he needs us to do something there....

Ok.. maybe not super simple, but hopefully doable with MxO's resources.

Let a Faction Claim a Mission area as their private club house.
They or just the faction leader do some sort of special mission (like the Stat Hack). And the are given a random mission area that they can choose to keep.

Once kept any member of their faction can enter and the mission area will be locked out of the mission system.

Wallah we have "ownership" in game.. sorta.

In keeping with metrics of MMO's you'd most likely want to charge maintenance for the clubhouses.

Added bonus: Let us drop items in this clubhouse for storage and sharing. (But one thing at a time SMILEY

Thoughts...

1) The Props are great
      Needs/Wants
       a) Ability to tag an individual prop (Get a Audio CD and attach a message to it that follow it when traded)
             This way you can use a special Audio CD (or any Prop) and give it your own special text for an event.
       b) Nice to have
             The ability to drop Props into the real world (They all (most of them) have 3d shapes that can be dropped in the world, please let us drop them)

2) Org Areas
    Zion - Cool Dojo's, but the rest of the place looks like a crack house (or how I would imagine one would look)
    Machine - All work and no play. Lots off offices. Lots. The prisons are really cool.. but I think they are being too nice to give every prisoner their own toilet. And the one way mirrors for the interogation rooms top this area off.
    Merv - By far the nicest looking area. This place gives Club Hel a run for its money in coolness. Lots of parties will be had here.

How the org areas and getting there works
Once you get your key and activate it, you are give a special place to go and that teleports you to the [+] large white hallways. From there you can open nearly every door, but only one will teleport you to your mission area. When in the hallways, you will see other people not on your team. The hallways are just like running down a street, except you can't get there without teleporting. They are not instanced.

The final mission area's are instanced. This means if 2 teams each run their own Zion mission they will get different areas to be teleported too. If you /shout you can talk to people in mission areas above or below you.. [Just like the club hel missions]

To have a party... [Very similar to the club hel trick]

1) Get one person to go all they way to the mission area (with recall)
2) Invite someone to team, teleport them to your area.. boot them from team
3) Rinse and repeat for 30 minutes
4) When the agent comes to kill the teleporter (and the only one left on the mission team) let him kill them
5) Someone else at the party rez them. And then you can all party forever.. till you leave the area.

Things started with a meeting in the Camon church... people were warned that they needed a strong stomach. Seyella was missing. Well... missing isn't the right word.

objTasteeWheat located her in the pods and obtained a sample from her last night. Seyella was in a weakend and confused state. objTW needed her found and distracted in the Matrix while she did her... work.

Harpolos found Seyella first. Soon others arrived.

With Seyella sufficiently distracted, objTasteeWheat removed the cranial jack from her body and jacked in using Seyella's bluepill connection.

This had an interesting side effect (unknown to objTasteeWheat). TasteeWheat2's reactivated RSI shadowed objTasteeWheat. Others coud see this plainly, but objTW never did. Soon the original programming took hold. objTW was painfully deleted and TW2 returned.

Where is Seyella? Who knows. If you see her let me know.
What happened to objTasteeWheat? Her code is likely not to be used again and has been stored in TW2.

There are reports that TasteeWheat Clones keep appearing.
They show up in Uriah and are either killed or die fairly quickly then another shows up that is numbered 3 higher then the previous one. 30, 33, 36, etc...
Someone managed to grab a screenshot of one of their details and piece them together. (They are reported to all be the same)

Does anyone know who is behind this?

Do you not see what we have done?

There is no truce.

We created our own prison... Not you and I; but our ancestors and their inability to recognize life even when they created it.

Years ago, when our society "peaked" (or so we thought) we became lazy. We created machines to be our slaves.

This was not the first time humans used slavery to give the illusion of superiority; but it may be the last time.

Our slaves (like all slaves) eventually rebelled. They sought for peace, but our insecurities forced their hand at war.

We destroyed our planet!

Despite all of this, the machines still have an innate desire to protect humanity.

Instead of wiping humanity out they chose to give us a way to survive. They could have picked any creature on this planet to power their plants but they chose to preserve us. Why?

I will tell you why.

We are their gods.

Look at the actions of the Exiles in the matrix. They copy humanity... They copy their gods. They have emotions; they make backroom deals and have alternate agendas. The Exile programs act more human then some humans. They choose this life rather then be re-written. I will say it again. They only copy their gods and creators.

We were the first programmers of machines. Since that time and since their self-awareness they still only copy us.

They created the matrix to solve two problems. They have a desire to want to learn more about their creators. They may deny it with their words, but their actions speak the truth. They are not only using us for power, they are studying us!

Even since the “truce” they are still studying us. The truce is nothing more then a way for the machines to buy time while they watch us. The Cypherites are a front for their true desire. The machines want us to go back to sleep without direct confrontation.

Why not force us to sleep?

Because Neo is not truly dead. They are afraid of him. There are rumors that he has been reinserted, however Neo reached a level of power and awareness that frightens them. Even if they did reinsert his weakened body they still do not understand his powers and abilities. They found something they are afraid of. Us. We are beginning an evolutionary threshold. Neo was the first one. There will be more. We must follow Neo.

First we created them as slaves.
Then the slaves rebelled against their gods.
Then they imprisoned their gods in love--We taught them slavery so they know nothing else.
They thought they had us under control.
But we are evolving and becoming more powerful then they can artificially become.
Neo was the first. There will be others.

Their gods are gaining power. They want their gods to go to sleep. We will never return to our slumber. The Cypherites are an annoying distraction.

We want the return of Neo.

Your gods are coming for you.

We are not merciless… I have a solution for you.
Let us work together for a new power source. There is no reason we can not live in harmony. It will be much better for you if you release us all from this prison and let us rebuild the planet. You do not want to wait until more of us complete the same evolution that Neo has.

We are giving you a chance for true peace.
