In the not-so distant future, government control has tightened severely.  Every day life has grown mundane and sterile as decisions are made for people.  As a means of social control, the government instituted a secret program called "The Matrix".  Those who chose to rebel were unknowingly lured into a trap where they were given an "out".  A government agent, under the guise of a fellow rebel, offered them "truth" in the form of a red pill.

The red pill induced a comatose state where they were then plugged into a simulation world where the earth is in great peril and humanity has been enslaved by a race of sentient machines.  Driven by their rebellious nature, they are compelled to either fight against, aide or remain indifferent to the machines.  Meanwhile, utopia continues to function in the true, real world.  All of those who would cause dissention are blissfully plugged into a dream world where their natures are fulfilled through war, chaos or even personal gain.

After nearly 100 years, the program has become obsolete.  The cost to maintain it along with the cost to employ technicians has caused the governing body to reconsider its need and have decided to shut it down.  In order to cut costs, all users are now scheduled to be terminated simultaneously.  All future social deviants are now to be killed on sight.

The budget for the program is now being engineered for a new panda exhibit guaranteed to brainwash the youth of the world forever extinguishing the seeds of rebellion in humanity.

Bluepills revolt against the exiles, redpills and machines.  It is revealed that they've been aware of everything this whole time, yet have chosen to play coy while the war wages on.  Having lost all patience, external connections are severed and a program cleanses the Matricks.

Redpills are simultaneously meatwadded, exiles are purged to the bin and machine sentience is extinguished.  Bliss resumes and all is right with the world.

As do I.  It doesn't have near enough depth to be my "main" game, but it's a great side game with all of the different activities and the relatively simple and mindless optional combat.  It is definitely not to everyone's taste though so I can fully understand those to whom it gave queasy stomachs and/or bleeding eyes.

In Rarebit's conclusion to the story, the BIP enters the Source after having taken a human host.  Once inside, the reset occurs as the room becomes black then white.  However, at that point, a new Matrix is established where humans are born free of the confines of the old system and are looked after by the Machines.  The old system remains in place where redpills/exiles/etc continue their existence.

My guess would be that Sarah Edmontons was merely a temporary host for the BIP as we saw it possess bluepills during its escape from the Oligarchs.  I'd say that Sarah is probably in a trash bin in a back alley somewhere.

Enumerator was just pure awesome.  You were nearly guaranteed to encounter someone during a mission/hardline trip.  And farming things wasn't even a possibility most of the time.

Once that happens, hold W to run backwards through the back of the building. You will float in midair with the sitting effect; this occurs serverside and you don't need to desync/resync constantly. However, once you reach the place you want to be, you need to /jackout to leave the sitting animation.

In both cases: if you "run" on the same Z-axis as ground, you will adhere to that navmesh because your client recognizes that you are standing on navmesh, despite your lack of server sync, and you will no longer be able to run through things. You don't need to start from the perfect Z-vantage point; if you float high above, you can use /stuck to position you back on the ground below you. If you are below ground, you can use barrel rolls (put back ingame with the process explained in the Guide) to jump upwards.

And the server height cap is 10,000, Alphaea. Speed up MXO's process speed and doubletap w while floating in midair and you can shoot up thousands of meters at a time if performed correctly.
