1. I vote we wait until fall next year to decide a name for the faction. We don't even know how the naming system works yet. As I see it, MXO Fleet is just a place for us to gather at the moment.

2. Imax, (I should've said this in the OP) the video was taken from a thread on the STO boards that was closed and removed.

Well, I wrote that the first time and then backspaced for some reason. I think it's most likely because I thank my grandparents for their sacrifices in order to keep me free and from speaking German by force, making it a win in my eyes. On a humane level you are totally right though, Yas.

Ironically, the only nuclear war this Earth was supposed to have never started and thus no one did actually win.

Vinia, you should read my thread called 'STO: Cryptics Cartoon?' it's got a lot of mixed response. You can find it here.

I think the real task now is implementing player systems / missions / content. I would like to see more about social interaction, etc, however.

From looking below you can tell they've built the rest really.

I like Cryptic because it appears the lead dev isn't trying to please everyone, they are doing what they want with the game (a lot like a fellow dev we know too, bar a few exceptions where players have forced him into something). I'm still a little apprehensive of whether those tactics will wash with treckies, but so far so good.

Democracy works in this situation. Starve Russia of communications with Georgia / Far East and the UN, treat them with Cold War syndrome (i.e bully tactics and scare tactics) and they will stop.

The U.N have already said they are prepared to send in Peace-Keepers if there are any more problems, so obviously someone's doing the right thing - (although it won't get to that stage).

- fleets built shipyards and starbases - able to build your own ships and starbases
- create your own player
