i don't think hackers are impossible or wierd in the world of the
matrix. true, they didn't exisist in the movies, but that isn't the
biggest problem. i think that if you take a world which is a
simulation, it is entirely possible to damage the simulated people
inside it by adding lines of code. in the movies this didn't happen,
but i guess all factions have been clever and gained enough insight in
the code of the matrix, so they found different ways to manipulate it.
see it as a way of evolving. you will find more and more ways to use
and manipulate the matrix to do what you want.

about the animations: in most concept art of hackers you see them with
some sort of keyboard on their arm, and part of the animation looks
like typing in the air, but with extremely dramatic arm movements added
to it.

i've read that there are plans to make the marketplace more user-friendly.

i have some ideas that will make it much nicer:

first: it would be GREAT if the marketplace of the three game worlds
will be commected. in that way you can buy items from vector or
recursion if you are on syntax. that would be really cool since it
seems some items are much more common on one server than on the other,
and who hasn't been drooling over some items on mxoclothing.com which
are only available on the other servers?

second: a "view all" button, to avoid hitting the "more" button for like a 1000 times.

tricraft, i came to somewhat the same conclusion as you.. only i keep having a few questions, namely:

i looked for gangs with hell-related names. i found the legion in sobra
shores, but tabor park has a gang named demon army, so that is a
possibility as well. i walked my *CENSORED* off in tabor and in sobra to find
something like a waste facility (because the assassin was designed as a
waste disposal program), but coudn't find one :/ anyway sobra seemed
more likely to me because it is filthier, but both are close to the water
(because the garbage was transported by boats).. and both have a subway so
that's no clues which points out one of them.

next: the portal and machines.. first i thought it was about hardlines,
but the assassin uses them too, so thats not it. then i started to look
in the sentinel for clues, and the asimuth monument (in moriah
projects) got mentioned there, it was sprayed with the laws of
robotics.. i went to look for that monument and it looked like a portal
to me.

wharf & local club.. this one was the easiest. just open up the
atlas and see what region has a wharf and a local club. must be uriah.

humans praying.. those who drink their blood.. easy as well: manssen
park is famous for it's blooddrinkers. praying humans can be found in a
church, according to legends vampires wouldn't dare to come into a
church.

well, this are my conclusions, if anyone can help me out to be completely sure of the first two, please tell!

ThePidgeonKing, is it true the assasin first appeared in sobra shores? where did you get that information?
