No doubt it wont be long before the forums are clogged up with threads like these or similar but I felt it only fitting that I post just a little something on here saying goodbye to all the players I have had the privelidge of speaking to and playing MxO with over the last 4+ Years.

I would like to thank the Veterans of Vector for never giving up on the server, All the people who Stuck with the game and that I became friends with and enjoyed being in a MMO community with.

And eventhough this will be on deaf ears thanks to Rarebit for actually trying to make something of a terminal game that lets face it 'Was destined for deletion'.

A MASSIVE THANKS to my very good friend Jordp92 who started out as an eager lowbie with no idea what to do but blast at ppl with his lvl 3 shotgun. But soon became contraversially one of the best gunman on the server and has helped me to form a faction with alot of very good people and players.

And on that note thankyou to those people past and present that gave our humble faction a chance and made it what it was, although some decisions better than others they stuck with us.

And also a grateful thankyou to Insurgence and their players for there support with me upto 50 and putting up with my constant nagging for mission teams!

Although MxO was seemingly dead from the word go I have to say I dont regret paying for this game as I have never played a game that has made me phisically LOL and scream at the screen in one breath!

Now I am rambling apologies....

But on my final note I hope you all find homes in new MMO I personally have found mine I think... In COH but obv thats not everyones taste so good game hunting. Thanks to all of vector, even you sploiting c*nts at mara c! Im gonna miss the lot of ya!

Yes, as the producer, it does ultimately land on me when things go wrong for MxO. I won't argue that fact or point fingers in other directions. If I inject a bit of humor at this point, it's because I'm disappointed as well--both in the ending of MxO and in not finding ways to change the direction of the game.

Is there more I could have done? I'm sure there was. Hindsight can bring things into unfortunate and painful clarity at times. So I try to remember all the good things about this game and it's community and hope to learn from past mistakes so I can do better in the future. Too late for MxO, sadly. But not too late for any future projects I'm responsible for.

I wish we could keep at least one server open. The option was looked into, but it wasn't feasible. So we have to retire the game and that makes me immensely sad. I understand the anger completely.

Why cant we have a single server like walrus mentioned with no updates and just run by players?

I mean I know alot of people who would stil play and surely 2 servers wiped would give ample room for another games data? We are only a small game surely in comparison to the Larger MMO of late?

Can someone open an emulated server for The Matrix Online?
Sony Online Entertainment and Warner Brothers hold the copyrights for The Matrix Online stories and data so creating a fan owned and operated emulated MxO server would be against those copyrights.

I know of someone who can practically get this done but needs some withheld rights and coding...

Surely we could be allowed a server for this game such a waste for it to be just scrapped why not let us have some form of emulation?

Yes the archives are a very efficient way of levelling.

The main bonus to this aswell as the raised XP is the rewars that can be attained after collecting so many of the tokens.

Now some are better than others but my personal favourites are:

• System Shades
• System Suit
• Ninja Scarf
• Flame Virus
• Code Eyes

Some of the others are a little pointless but none the less are all equally cool when activated together.

I would recommend Whilst doing the archives do them in a logical order IE 1-11 etc and actually read what is flashing up on your HUD it will not only give you a good background of the once existent storyline but will actually get you involved in what you are actually doing and not make you think what the heck? When bendy sati's are shooting at you!

In summary

Archives FTW

(Unless you got an UBER faction that does sleepwalker boxes all the way to 50. In that case GF NUB!)

The second image is definatley more editable seing as the first has that awful enhancement buff thingy going on but cant see a high quality signature forming from either of those so wouldnt want to dissapoint.

Have any more that are more close up and more going on preferably not combat text or buffs in progress.
