I spent all night downloading the client from the official sony source, but now when I launch the client I get this:

Patch system error - Result code -27

Directory missing or insufficient privileges

Also another strange thing is I can't find MxO installed on any of my Harddrives, therefore this eliminates my ability to uninstall and reinstall. Any help would be bonzer. Cheers.

Just doing a little video test , hopefully will turn into a nice little promo for MxO. But seen as I can't get in the game, I need some high res captures from you guys and doll's. I could use the following :

HI RES Captures of building models, similiar to bitmap style, a front, side, back and birdseye view of as many building models as you can do. Must be completely flat captures or else the construction process will be a bit dodgy.
HI RES captures of the roads of the megacity, the road image plane, flat on again
You can if you fancy it just pick an area of the city preferably downtown and just snap the crap out of it getting every detail so I can reconstruct it in 3d.
HI RES flat on capture of Morpheus, with all his model details if possible, again flat on front view and if possible a side view.
HI RES capture of Agent Gray, again same as above Side and Front view.

Feel free to post away, any help makes you top class in my book.

Like PBlade I've jogged onto greener pastures, and I'm never going to finish this. This work is all vintage 2006 when I could be arsed with MxO. This is a follow on from Tragedy of Rebirth my first Graphic Novel all the way back from the Beta Days. Which can be found on www.caffinex.com

The original Tragedy of Rebirth was leaked by the MxO Beta Devs after they got a sneak peak of it from DJ Sundog in the RFZ days, and was announced on Data Node One. The real DN1, not this bag of wank they use now.

The Graphic Novel features the acting of Atheros, myself, Raijjin, Lady3Jane and a whole host of other oldschoolers that made the good old days just that, the good old days.

I first thought I would post up an intimate thread in Recursion General, but then I thought no, Bollocks to the lot of you. I'll make this a General Discussion affair!

So anyway I'm heading out into the blue yonder, my run with MxO is drawing to a close. This is my first, and last MMO and its been one hell of a wild ride. From the glory days of Beta, to the somewhat up and down days of live. This game, but most of of all this community, has been brilliant to be apart of.

And thats what MxO is really, the community. MxO is merely the face of the beast, but the spine? Thats made up of the MxO elite. The community. You have stuck by the game for so long now, through the high's and lows. Through the XP rollbacks, to the EU release date ham-up. Ahhh dear, from unfinished storylines, to flying glitches, to the whiteroom tours of old.

In danger of this sounding like an Oscar acceptance speech, I would like to take a minute and reflect on some of the people who I have grown up with in the game. Oh nevermind, you all know who you are. In my wake I leave Caffinex comics for the ages of MxO community members to come. Use it wisely. And I will be hosting my monster render file in its entirety for the RSI idealists to pimp out whenever they want to. And sorry Void, looks like GN #4 will never be published.

Thats about it, Its almost 3 years since I joined MxO, and its been a great laugh. Ta'ra you bunch of loveable tossers SMILEY
