I agree with you insofar as a stand-alone movie.  The second one needs to find its footing extremely fast, now that we've stablished a very baseline setting and characters (poorly fleshed out I may add).  But, what do you expect with a director so pretentious he calls himself "McG."  He might as well called himself McBay.  Or McLovin for that matter.

T:SCC was phenominal and although Season 2 had some dragged out parts early on, the character development was a million times richer than T:S, and the show was extremely thoughtful and intelligently written.  The plot lines came together in the end in a simply stunning manner.  But, the fickle networks keep trying to dumb us down with even more purile and lowest common demoninator garbage.  T:SCC has no place in a realm that places Celebutardism above all.

I've seen so many frikken movies in my lifetime, been so jaded and oversaturated, that my criteria for a good movie now is, do I still think about this movie several days after I've seen it?  If I've already more or less purged it from my mind a half an hour after I've seen it, it isn't a good movie.  T:S is exactly how I feel about it.  Although it more or less kept my attention while I was watching it, its already long since gone from my imagination and interest.

Not so with T:SCC, in fact quite the opposite.

See the second season...I think you will be very pleasantly surprised.

And after you do you might see some strong parallels between MxO and T:SCC.

 

Dumb and Dumber is one of the best movie ever made.  Watch it and try not to laugh.

Very smart move with the Robotics and AI.   That is the field I am trying to move too. 

War is just as good at creating new tech as it is at killing people.  At the start of this War there were 300 robots in Iraq/Afghanistan.  Now there are over 10,000 and around 6,000 UAVs.  Its getting to be like terminator for the other team and we are skynet. 

But every war brings us a new tech or two .  The last golf war helped bring GPS and Digital Cameras to the forefront.  Now everyone and their grandma has one of those and they are about the size of a iPod.  So I predict in 6-8 years you will start seeing the tech from this war seep into civilain markets.  Look for WideBand on the Go to be installed in Cars.  Its pretty sick what it does for the troops here.

yeah i have been a sony user back since psone i would get a 360 if the RROD wasnt succh a huge problem my friend from work says her brother is on his 4th 360 i do like the Facebook integregation  though that seem pretty cool

I've had no trouble with mine at all and I've had it for about 3 years. Although I have had a little trouble with games struggling to be read in the past day or so. D:

I've also had no issues with my 360.  *shrug*

I got an elite 360 and had one issue with it. It started not to read games and moves. I tried to use the old canned air and lense cleaner trick but the issue just got worse till it just didnt read anything at all.  I had to send it in to get a new DVD Rom installed.  So to yasamuu send it in for repairs or it will start getting worse.

Yea thats pretty much it though.  Money is what drives companies.  If for some crazy reason that MxO had gotten tons of people jumping on board to where they had to expand servers it would be a whole different ball game. 

It was fun playing this game but 5 years is a pretty good run for a game taht was "doomed to fail".  Could they have done more? Yea every company could have done more with products that just focus on a niche market if they had unlimited moneys.  SOE learn to sploit some cash next time.

The real down hill moment for SOE with SWG was introducing the NGE, after that all hell broke loose and major lost of subscriptions happened. SOE dug their own grave.

Wait you have to buy the expansion and then buy the cards as well? Thats just beyond stupid and anyone who pays for that is stupid.   Who in the hell came up with that idea in the SOE department? Who ever it is should be fired.   That is just a terrible marketing stradegy.  "Hey try Star Wars Galaxy for 15 bucks a month but if you want the full experince you gotta buy this card game expansion and buy the cards as well. No I promise its fun because you play a game while you play a game."

If they are not going to do anything with the game.  They should atleast unlock Smithlings Snowmen halloween boxes and zombie areas where once you leave the area you turn back to normal. I would like to also see Level 100 Spawns of SimMorpheus and all the other main folks from MxO that will drop various items from Constructs and other favored items. The hell is TCG NGE and CU? I dont play that game, never have. Sounds like they are just as bitter as MxO players. Just theres a whole lot more of them.  SOE is damaging its credabilty more and more.  To the point were they release a game and no one will play because they expect crap already.

I really dont care if MxO shuts down. I just play it to shoot people in the face with red lighting from the sky.  I wont be switching to a new MMO because I am lazy and dont want to level up. Ill just stick with Call of Duty 4 & World at War.
